Aerolíneas avanzan en negociaciones por aviones de Embraer

Las aerolíneas LATAM Airlines Brasil y GOL Linhas Aéreas han anunciado el Viernes 19 de Julio de 2024 que se encuentran muy avanzadas las discusiones para incorporar aviones jet de Embraer a sus flotas, dijo el Presidente del Banco Nacional de Desarrollo Económico y Social (BNDES) durante un evento en el que el organismo anunció financiación para las exportaciones del fabricante brasileño: «Ya están muy avanzados en ese diálogo. Obviamente tenemos secreto comercial, no podemos entrar en detalles, pero las empresas están muy avanzadas en cuanto a volar Embraer. Algunos dependen de su matriz, como LATAM, contrapartes, otras cosas que se están discutiendo, pero este diálogo está muy avanzado», afirmó Aloizio Mercadante, citando los nombres de GOL y LATAM Airlines.

GOL Linhas Aéreas ha sido históricamente cliente únicamente de la compañía aeroespacial norteamericana The Boeing Company, que ha retrasado la entrega de aviones y ha enfrentado una serie de problemas de calidad de producción, y LATAM Airlines Group tiene aviones de fabricación europea del constructor Airbus Group en su operación. En Junio 2024, el Presidente de Embraer, Francisco Gomes Neto, dijo que la empresa estaba manteniendo negociaciones en Brasil con GOL Linhas Aéreas y LATAM Airlines Brasil.

El Viernes 19/07, Aloizio Mercadante anunció un contrato de financiación para la exportación de 32 aviones comerciales Embraer E175-E1 a una compañía regional de American Airlines, una operación valorada en alrededor de R$ 4.500 millones de reales.

Gomes Neto informó en el evento que espera traer desde la feria de aviación de Farnborough Air Show 2024, en Inglaterra, noticias relacionadas con el carguero C-390, con el vehículo eléctrico de despegue y aterrizaje vertical (eVTOL), de la filial Eve; y a los aviones comerciales E190-E2/E195-E2, y también a su zona de servicio. La feria inglesa se celebra entre el 22 y el 26 de Julio de 2024, cuando los fabricantes de aviones suelen anunciar la recepción de grandes pedidos por parte de aerolíneas y empresas de leasing.
