Inicia la feria aeronáutica británica edición 2024

El Salón Aeronáutico Internacional de Farnborough FIA2024, ha iniciado su feria aeroespacial dándose cita en Farnborough, Reino Unido, del 22 al 26 de Julio de 2024, como un importante foro internacional para la industria aeroespacial y de defensa desde 1948. La edición aeronáutica se celebra cada dos años, centrando la industria aeroespacial, aviación y defensa donde se realizarán grandes negocios y nuevas tecnologías. Farnborough 2024, acoge a los principales innovadores de las industrias aeroespacial, de aviación y de defensa para mostrar las últimas innovaciones y emprender colaboraciones y asociaciones innovadoras.

AIRBUS GROUP
Airbus Group ha iniciado la feria aeronáutica con un pedido de Druk Air. La aerolínea ha firmado un memorando de entendimiento con el fabricante europeo de aviones para tres (3) Airbus A320neo y dos (2) A321XLR. Druk Air es la línea aérea de bandera de Bután, con sede en Paro.​ Opera vuelos en la región del sur de Asia, teniendo como base principal el Aeropuerto Internacional de Paro. La aerolínea toma su nombre de Druk, el dragón del trueno de la mitología butanesa

Japan Airlines, la aerolínea japonesa ha realizado un pedido de veinte (20) aviones Boeing 787-9, con diez (10) pedidos en firmes y diez (10) opcionales, con entregas entre 2028 y 2031. representando un buen comienzo para Boeing en la feria aeronáutica británica de Farnborough 2024.

La aerolínea luxemburguesa ha confirmado al constructor The Boeing Company un pedido de cuatro (4) aviones Boeing 737-10 MAX.

«La compra del 737-10 es un paso más hacia el posicionamiento de Luxair para su futuro con la inversión en la última tecnología de aviones que apoyará los planes de crecimiento de Luxair y la descarbonización de nuestra flota. Korean Air y Boeing han arubricado un pedido por veinte (20) aviones Boeing 777-9X y veinte (20) Boeing 787-10 en firme, con opciones para diez (10) adicionales. Esto representa un hito importante para el programa de aviones, pues Korean Air se convierte en un nuevo cliente del 777X. Además, las primeras entregas para las entregas serán en 2028 y la aerolínea seguirá recibiendo aviones desde allí.

UK Business and Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds has just announced more than £100 million of government and industry funding. This was announced at the launch of the Farnborough Airshow 2024.
