Nueva ruta en el Oeste estadounidense para 3Q2024

Avelo Airlines lanzará su nuevo servicio sin escalas en 3Q2024 conectando el Condado de Sonoma (California) con Salt Lake City-Bay Area (Utah). La nueva ruta Sonoma/Charles M. Schulz/STS—Salt Lake City/SLC operará dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S) a partir del 24 de Octubre de 2024. Los vuelos serán operados por aviones Boeing 737 Next-Generation.

El servicio conectará el Aeropuerto Charles M. Schulz del Condado de Sonoma (STS) del Área de la Bahía con el Aeropuerto Internacional de Salt Lake City (SLC). Actualmente, Avelo Airlines es la única aerolínea que ofrece vuelos directos entre ambos destinos.

«Esperamos inspirar los viajes este otoño al condado de Sonoma e inspirar a los habitantes del norte de California a explorar todo lo que el Estado de la Colmena tiene para ofrecer», dijo Andrew Levy, fundador y Director Ejecutivo de Avelo Airlines, en un comunicado de prensa.

«Este nuevo servicio sin escalas al Área de la Bahía y el Condado de Sonoma es una ventaja para nuestros pasajeros. Las puertas adicionales que el aeropuerto construyó como parte de The New SLC han hecho posible este nuevo servicio», expresó Bill Wyatt, Director Ejecutivo del Departamento de Aeropuertos de Salt Lake City.

Desde su vuelo inaugural el 28 de Abril de 2021, Avelo Airlines ha transportado a más de cinco millones de pasajeros en más de 40.000 vuelos. La aerolínea actualmente opera vuelos a 54 ubicaciones en los Estados Unidos y el Caribe, así como a dos países extranjeros: Jamaica y México.

Avelo Airlines will launch its new non-stop service in 3Q2024 connecting Sonoma County (California) with Salt Lake City-Bay Area (Utah). The new Sonoma/Charles M. Schulz/STS—Salt Lake City/SLC route will operate twice weekly (2Frq/S) beginning October 24, 2024. The flights will be operated by Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft.

The service will connect Sonoma County’s Charles M. Schulz Airport (STS) in the Bay Area with Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Currently, Avelo Airlines is the only airline offering direct flights between both destinations.

“We look forward to inspiring travel this fall to Sonoma County and inspiring Northern Californians to explore all that the Beehive State has to offer”, said Andrew Levy, founder, and CEO of Avelo Airlines, in a press release.

“This new nonstop service to the Bay Area and Sonoma County is a plus for our passengers. The additional gates the airport built as part of The New SLC have made this new service possible”, said Bill Wyatt, CEO of the Salt Lake City Department of Airports.

Since its inaugural flight on April 28, 2021, Avelo Airlines has carried more than five million passengers on more than 40,000 flights. The airline currently operates flights to 54 locations in the United States and the Caribbean, as well as two foreign countries: Jamaica and Mexico.
