Fiji Airways confirma un nuevo servicio a Dallas, Estados Unidos

Fiji Airways ha confirmado el 09/08 la introducción de los primeros vuelos sin escalas entre Nadi (Fiyi) y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Dallas Fort Worth en Texas, Estados Unidos, a partir de Diciembre de 2024.

El nuevo servicio Nadi/NAN—Dallas-Fort Worth/DFW está previsto para el 10 de Diciembre de 2024. La ruta operará tres veces por semana (3Frq/S), los Martes, Jueves y Sábado, con un tiempo de trayectoria de trece horas, operando en aviones Airbus A350-900 de última tecnología. La configuración de la aeronave cuenta con 301 asientos de Clase Económica y 33 asientos reclinables de Clase Ejecutiva, con acceso a todos los pasillos.

El CEO y Director General de Fiji Airways, Andre Viljoen, dijo respecto al nuevo destino: «La introducción de un servicio directo entre Fiji y Dallas es un hito realmente emocionante para Fiji Airways, ya que continuamos aumentando la conectividad de Fiji con los Estados Unidos y más allá ofreciendo a nuestros huéspedes más opciones de viaje».

El nuevo servicio a Dallas complementará otras iniciativas anunciadas recientemente por la aerolínea, incluidos sus planes de unirse al programa de fidelización AAdvantage de American Airlines el próximo año y convertirse en el 15º miembro de pleno derecho de la alianza Oneworld en 2025.

«El nuevo servicio Fiji-Dallas está programado para traer más de 1,000 pasajeros a la semana solo a Fiji, ayudando a impulsar la industria turística de la nación. El vuelo nocturno también ofrecerá a nuestros clientes mayores conexiones a América del Norte desde el Pacífico Sur y más allá», dijo Andre Viljoen.

Dallas será el 24º destino internacional directo de Fiji Airways y será la quinta ruta norteamericana servida por la aerolínea, junto con Los Ángeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Honolulu (HNL) y Vancouver (YVR).

Fiji Airways has confirmed on 09/08 the introduction of the first non-stop flights between Nadi, Fiji, and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas, USA, starting in December 2024.

The new Nadi/NAN—Dallas-Fort Worth/DFW service is planned to begin on 10 December 2024. The route will operate three times a week (3Frq/S), on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with a journey time of thirteen hours, operating on state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The aircraft configuration features 301 Economy Class seats and 33 lie-flat Business Class seats, with all-aisle access.

Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen said of the new destination: “The introduction of a direct service between Fiji and Dallas is a really exciting milestone for Fiji Airways as we continue to increase Fiji’s connectivity to the United States and beyond by offering our guests more travel options”.

The new service to Dallas will complement other initiatives recently announced by the airline, including its plans to join American Airlines’ AAdvantage loyalty programme next year and become the 15th full member of the Oneworld alliance in 2025.

“The new Fiji-Dallas service is set to bring more than 1,000 passengers a week to Fiji alone, helping to boost the nation’s tourism industry. The overnight flight will also offer our customers increased connections to North America from the South Pacific and beyond”, said Andre Viljoen.

Dallas will be Fiji Airways’ 24th direct international destination and will be the fifth North American route served by the airline, joining Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Honolulu (HNL), and Vancouver (YVR).
