Aerolínea inaugurará ruta Tweed-New Haven—New Orleans

Avelo Airlines anunció el 13/08 un crecimiento continuo en el aeropuerto de Tweed-New Haven (HVN) del sur de Connecticut con la incorporación de una nueva ruta sin escalas a Aeropuerto Nueva Orleans/Louis Armstrong, Luisiana, la duplicación de los vuelos a Puerto Rico este invierno y más capacidad en Tweed que amplía la gama de Boeing 737-800 de próxima generación. Este crecimiento permite a Avelo expandir significativamente su servicio aéreo conveniente, asequible y confiable en el sur de Connecticut.

Avelo Airlines ha anunciado el 13/08 una nueva ruta Tweed/New Haven/HVN—Nueva Orleans/MSY en el Estado de Louisiana (LA) a partir del Jueves 14 de Noviembre de 2024. Destino New Orleans

Avelo Airlines ha anunciado paralelamente el incremento de frecuencias hacia Puerto Rico, volando hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Muñoz Marín (SJU) de San Juan. A partir del Viernes 8 de Noviembre de 2024, la línea aérea duplicará su frecuencia de vuelos a San Juan, Puerto Rico a cuatro vuelos semanales los Lunes, Miércoles, Viernes y Sábados.

Crecimiento de Avelo
A partir de Noviembre 2024, Avelo ampliará su flota de Boeing 737-800 de próxima generación en HVN, duplicando el número interanual de aviones grandes, lo que permitirá una mayor capacidad de clientes durante el período de vuelo de invierno del hemisferio Norte. Avelo tendrá ocho aviones dedicados a New Haven (HVN) y más de la mitad de los 19 aviones de la compañía estarán dedicados al Estado de Connecticut (CT).

Tweed-New Haven es la base más grande de Avelo, emplea a más de 250 tripulantes y vuela a 27 destinos sin escalas. Desde que despegó en HVN en Noviembre de 2021, Avelo ha transportado a más de 2.4 millones de clientes en New Haven en más de 18.000 vuelos.

New Orleans is a unique dining, cultural, and live music nightlife destination in the United States. It is world-renowned for its distinctive jazz and brass band music, Creole cuisine, unique dialects, and its annual Mardi Gras celebration. The historic heart of the city is the French Quarter, known for its French and Spanish Creole architecture, where ghost tours pass by Madame LaLaurie’s mansion and lead to vibrant nightlife and neon signs along Bourbon Street.

Puerto Rico
Avelo Airlines has also announced the increase in frequencies to Puerto Rico, flying to San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). Beginning Friday, November 8, 2024, the airline will double its flight frequency to San Juan, Puerto Rico to four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Avelo growth
Beginning in November 2024, Avelo will expand its next-generation Boeing 737-800 fleet at HVN, doubling the number of large aircraft year-over-year, enabling increased customer capacity during the Northern Hemisphere winter flying period. Avelo will have eight aircraft dedicated to New Haven (HVN) and more than half of the company’s 19 aircraft will be dedicated to the State of Connecticut (CT).

Tweed-New Haven is Avelo’s largest base, employing more than 250 crew and flying to 27 nonstop destinations. Since taking off at HVN in November 2021, Avelo has transported more than 2.4 million customers in New Haven on more than 18,000 flights.
