Iraqi Airways moderniza sistemas pasajeros y equipaje con SITA

Iraqi Airways renovó su acuerdo de asociación con SITA para mantener su historial de innovación continua en los sistemas de gestión de pasajeros y equipaje, mejorando la experiencia de viaje a bordo del “Green Bird” (sus aviones de distintivo color verde) y sus aerolíneas asociadas.

El proveedor líder de servicios de tecnología de la información en el sector del transporte aéreo, explicó que un aspecto clave será la mejora de la experiencia de viaje será la implementación de su sistema Flex Hybrid. Esta herramienta acelerará el procesamiento de pasajeros en los aeropuertos de Bagdad y Basora, proporcionando al personal un acceso rápido y seguro a los sistemas y aplicaciones de la aerolínea a través de una infraestructura en la nube con alta flexibilidad y escalabilidad para satisfacer la demanda fluctuante.

La aerolínea también mejorará sus capacidades de gestión de equipaje con el SITA Bag Manager Online, que ofrece una visibilidad avanzada del recorrido de cada maleta. La solución rastrea cada maleta que se carga en un avión, un Dispositivo Unitario de Carga (ULD) o un carro, emparejando cada equipaje con los pasajeros que salen, siguiéndolos en tiempo real en todo el aeropuerto y asegurando que se carguen en el avión correcto, ofreciendo tranquilidad a los pasajeros y permitiendo que el personal se enfoque en tareas más complejas.

Finalmente, el Sistema de Pantallas Informativas de SITA renovará los sistemas de visualización de vuelos de la aerolínea, con una interfaz elegante que mantiene a los viajeros completamente informados con actualizaciones automáticas minuto a minuto sobre los cambios en los horarios de salida o llegada de los vuelos.

Iraqi Airways renewed its partnership agreement with SITA to maintain its track record of continuous innovation in passenger and baggage management systems, improving the travel experience on board the “Green Bird” (its distinctive green aircraft) and its partner airlines.

The leading provider of information technology services in the air transport sector, explained that a key aspect of improving the travel experience will be the implementation of its Flex Hybrid system. This tool will speed up passenger processing at Baghdad and Basra airports, providing staff with fast and secure access to the airline’s systems and applications through a cloud infrastructure with high flexibility and scalability to meet fluctuating demand.

The airline will also improve its baggage management capabilities with SITA Bag Manager Online, which offers advanced visibility into the journey of each bag. The solution tracks every bag that is loaded onto an aircraft, a Unit Loading Device (ULD) or a trolley, matching each bag to departing passengers, tracking them in real-time throughout the airport. and ensuring they are loaded onto the correct aircraft, offering passengers peace of mind and allowing staff to focus on more complex tasks.

Finally, SITA’s Information Display System will revamp the airline’s flight display systems, with a sleek interface that keeps travellers fully informed with automatic, minute-by-minute updates on changes to flight departure or arrival times.
