Flybondi comenzó a volar a destino San Juan
Primera aerolínea low cost Provincia de San Juan

Flybondi realizó su vuelo inaugural hacia destino San Juan el 2 de Septiembre de 2024. El vuelo inaugural partió desde Buenos Aires/Jorge Newbery/AEP a las 11:08 y aterrizó en el Aeropuerto San Juan/Faustino Sarmiento a las 13:05. El retorno despegó a las 14:10 y arribó a Aeroparque a las 15:41 horas. La nueva ruta desarrollará cuatro frecuencias semanales (4Frq/S) los días Lunes, Miércoles, Viernes y Domingo. El vuelo inaugural ha desarrollado una ocupación del 90%. Con la inauguración de esta ruta.

San Juan es la ruta número 26 que vuela la aerolínea, y en Argentina es su destino doméstico número 19 y la provincia número quince en la red de servicios de Flybondi, que con esta incorporación, conecta actualmente al 63% de las provincias del país.

La llegada de la compañía es de suma relevancia conviéndose en una nueva alternativa potente para volar a la provincia con precios accesibles, promediando pasajes desde AR$ 46.872 por tramo.

“Es un día que celebramos por muchos motivos: llegamos a una nueva provincia, le estamos dando una nueva alternativa a los sanjuaninos y a todos los pasajeros que quieran viajar a esta provincia con tarifas bajas. Además estaremos dando un aporte muy claro al desarrollo turístico y económico de la región. Este es el resultado de un trabajo en conjunto entre lo público y privado para que ya está dando muy buenos resultados”, declaró Mauricio Sana, CEO de Flybondi.

Marcelo Orrego, Gobernador de la Provincia de San Juan agregó: “Estamos felices de estar acá, en este primer vuelo de Flybondi recibiendo a tantos pasajeros que hoy llegan a San Juan y también acompañando a los sanjuaninos que arriban a su vuelo desde acá. Hay algunos que vuelan por primera vez y eso es muy emocionante. Para nosotros es una gran noticia, porque la llegada de esta empresa suma posibilidades a que más personas viajen, vuelen, conozcan nuestra provincia, crezca el turismo y también se generarán fuentes de trabajo. Estamos muy entusiasmados y esperamos que la gente le de mucho uso”.

Incorpora segundo Airbus A321neo a su flota

La aerolínea privada de Uzbekistán, Centrum Air, ha incorporado su segundo Airbus A321neo marcando un hito en su crecimiento y expansión. El 31 de Agosto de 2024, la aerolínea recibió un nuevo avión de última generación, e iniciando operaciones el 02/09 en sus rutas asignadas. Centrum Air recibe su nuevo avión directamente del fabricante europeo. Con esta incorporación, se convierte en una de las tres únicas aerolíneas de Uzbekistán que opera nuevos aviones turborreactores.

El nuevo avión A321-271NX con el número de serie de fábrica MSN 11996, ha sido registrado localmente como UK32131. Es el primer avión en Uzbekistán en estar equipado con motores Pratt & Whitney PW1133G, mejorando sus capacidades operativas respecto a las versiones anteriores.

Centrum Air, que comenzó a operar vuelos en 2023, es la división de pasajeros de un holding que también incluye a la aerolínea de carga My Freighter. La flota total del holding consta ahora de diez aviones, incluidos dos A321neo (2) y tres aviones A320ceo (3) de menor capacidad. My Freighter opera cinco aviones de carga Boeing 767-300F (5) de fuselaje ancho, lo que refleja las diversas capacidades operativas del holding.

La modalidad de operaciones aéreas de Centrum Air se efectúan bajo contratos de arrendamiento con tripulación para aerolíneas extranjeras, lo que demuestra su creciente presencia internacional. Uzbekistan’s private airline, Centrum Air, has added its second Airbus A321neo, marking a milestone in its growth and expansion. On August 31, 2024, the airline received a new state-of-the-art aircraft, and will begin operations on 02/09 on its assigned routes. Centrum Air receives its new aircraft directly from the European manufacturer. With this addition, it becomes one of only three airlines in Uzbekistan to operate new turbojet aircraft.

The new A321-271NX aircraft with factory serial number MSN 11996, has been registered locally as UK32131. It is the first aircraft in Uzbekistan to be equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1133G engines, improving its operational capabilities over previous versions.

Centrum Air, which started operating flights in 2023, is the passenger division of a holding company that also includes cargo airline My Freighter. The holding company’s total fleet now consists of ten aircraft, including two A321neo (2) and three smaller-capacity A320ceo (3) aircraft. My Freighter operates five wide-body Boeing 767-300F (5) freighters, reflecting the holding company’s diverse operational capabilities.

Centrum Air’s air operations are carried out under wet-lease contracts to foreign airlines, demonstrating its growing international presence. The airline’s own flight network includes scheduled and charter routes from Tashkent to popular destinations such as Dubai, Istanbul, Tbilisi, Batumi, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Issyk-Kul.

La aerolínea Cathay Pacific Airways informó este Martes 03/09 el reemplazo de componentes de motor de quince aeronaves de su flota de Airbus A350-900. las unidades permanecerán en tierra mientras tanto, tras una inspección iniciada a raíz de un fallo detectado en pleno vuelo.

La línea aérea hongkonesa de China informó en un comunicado de que comenzó las inspecciones de 48 aviones A350 después de que el vuelo CX383 del día Lunes 02/09 con destino a Zurich regresara a Hong Kong esa misma mañana unos 75 minutos después de despegar. Cathay completó las inspecciones de sus 48 aviones, que utilizan un motor Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-9, y encontró que 15 aeronaves necesitaban reemplazar componentes en el motor. Como consecuencia de la inspección, más de una treintena de vuelos fueron cancelados en las últimas horas. Los aviones afectados estarán fuera de servicio durante varios días y se espera que todos vuelvan a estar operativos el Sábado 07/09, informa el diario hongkonés South China Morning Post.

Según la aerolínea, es la primera vez que este componente sufre un fallo de este tipo en ese modelo en todo el mundo. «Informamos sobre este problema a los fabricantes de aviones y motores, así como a nuestros reguladores. Como medida de precaución, también iniciamos de forma proactiva una inspección de toda la flota de nuestros 48 aviones A350», dijo la aerolínea en su comunicado.

Los motores del avión A350 son fabricados por la compañía británica Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. Cathay Pacific Airways desplegó por primera vez el modelo de avión en 2016.

Cathay Pacific Airways announced on Tuesday 03/09 that it had replaced engine components on fifteen aircraft in its fleet of Airbus A350-900s. The units will remain on the ground in the meantime, following an inspection initiated following a fault detected in flight.

The Hong Kong-based airline reported in a statement that it began inspections of 48 A350 aircraft after flight CX383 on Monday 02/09 bound for Zurich returned to Hong Kong that same morning about 75 minutes after taking off. Cathay completed inspections of its 48 aircraft, which use a Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-9 engine, and found that 15 aircraft needed engine components replaced. As a result of the inspection, more than thirty flights were cancelled in the last few hours. The affected planes will be out of service for several days and are expected to be back in service on Saturday 07/09, reports the Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post.

According to the airline, this is the first time that this component has suffered a failure of this type on this model worldwide. «We reported this problem to the aircraft and engine manufacturers, as well as to our regulators. As a precautionary measure, we also proactively initiated an inspection of the entire fleet of our 48 A350 aircraft», the airline said in its statement.

The engines of the A350 aircraft are manufactured by the British company Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. Cathay Pacific Airways first deployed the aircraft model in 2016.

Incorpora nuevo destino Cartagena de Indias, Colombia

Aeroméxico ha anunciado el inicio de un nuevo destino a Cartagena de Indias, incorporando su tercer destino en Colombia. La aerolínea enlazará Ciudad de México (MEX) con Cartagena/Rafael Núñez (CTG) de manera directa, iniciando sus operaciones a partir del 20 de Febrero de 2025. El nuevo destino Cartagena se convertirá en el vigésimo primer destino internacional de Aeroméxico, reforzando su posición como el tercer aeropuerto con mayor oferta internacional en Colombia.

Actualmente, la aerolínea opera tres vuelos diarios hacia Bogotá y una frecuencia diaria hacia Medellín. Con la nueva ruta a Cartagena, aumentará un 25% su oferta de asientos entre México y Colombia, ofreciendo 11.600 por semana. La nueva ruta Ciudad México/MEX—Cartagena/CTG será operada con aeronaves Boeing 737-8 MAX con capacidad para 166 pasajeros, 16 en Clase Premier, 18 en AM Plus, y 132 en Turista.

La atracción turística de Cartagena de Indias representa uno de los destinos turísticos más visitados de Colombia con una diversidad de ofertas para el viajero, declarado Patrimonio Histórico de la Humanidad por la Unesco en 1984.

Aeroméxico has announced the start of a new destination to Cartagena de Indias, adding its third destination in Colombia. The airline will link Mexico City (MEX) with Cartagena/Rafael Núñez (CTG) directly, starting operations on February 20, 2025. The new Cartagena destination will become Aeroméxico’s twenty-first international destination, reinforcing its position as the third airport with the largest international offer in Colombia.
