Lanzamiento 28° edición Feria Internacional de Turismo América Latina

Se realizó el acto de lanzamiento de la 28° edición de la Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina 2024 (FIT) que contó con la presencia de Andrés Deyá Presidente de la FIT y de FAEVYT (Federación Argentina de Asociaciones de Empresas de Viajes y Turismo), Daniel Scioli Secretario de Turismo, Ambiente y Deportes de la Nación, Julio Glinternick Bitelli Embajador de Brasil en Argentina representando al país invitado de la edición para este año en curso.

El Lanzamiento de la feria de turismo FIT 2024 se desarrollará entre el 28 de Septiembre al 1 de Octubre de 2024 en el Predio Ferial Buenos Aires, ubicado en Av. Sarmiento 2704, de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.

“Del 28 de Septiembre al 1 de Octubre FIT volverá a ser el punto de encuentro del turismo nacional e internacional. Somos una de las 5 ferias más importantes del mundo y esta edición vamos a volver a sorprender con más destinos, atracciones y todas las experiencias que puede brindar el turismo en un solo lugar. FIT 2024 contará con un 14% más de superficie bruta expositiva que en la edición anterior y la expectativa de superar los 125.000 visitantes. Brasil acompañará como país invitado junto a más de 50 países participantes, todas las provincias argentinas y más de 1700 expositores confirmados. Sin duda, será la fiesta que reconfirme el empuje del turismo como una de las industrias más importantes de la economía argentina”, señaló Andrés Deyá, Presidente de FIT.

El lanzamiento contó, además, con la presencia de Yanina Martínez, Subsecretaria de Turismo de la Nación, Valentín Díaz Gilligan, Presidente del Ente de Turismo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y Presidente del Consejo Federal de Turismo (CFT), Gustavo Hani Presidente de la Cámara Argentina de Turismo (CAT), Fabián Lombardo Presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas, Natalia Recio Secretaria Ejecutiva del Instituto Nacional de Promoción Turística (Inprotur) y el Presidente electo de la Asociación de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo de Buenos Aires (AVIABUE) Adrián Manzotti, entre otras autoridades del sector.

La Feria Internacional de Turismo se realizará del 28 de Septiembre al 1 de Octubre de 2024 en Predio Ferial Buenos Aires, conocido como La Rural y ofrecerá una gran variedad de opciones turísticas y el atractivo de cada uno de sus stands, presentaciones y shows. Esta edición contará con nuevos sectores FIT CRUCEROS, FIT FOOD y FIT OUTDOOR pensando siempre en las necesidades del sector, los intereses y tendencias viajeras y un renovado sector FIT TECH para seguir impulsando la actualización e innovación turística. Además, será una oportunidad de crecimiento e intercambio comercial único, con sus ya tradicionales Rondas de Negocios, que junto a FIT B2B, el sistema de gestión para expositores y visitantes profesionales para seguir profesionalizando su participación, cuantificando transacciones y oportunidades de negocios, constituyen una instancia de comercialización ideal para los actores de la industria turística y que serán un fuerte impulso para el crecimiento de la actividad.

Launch 28th edition of the Latin American International Tourism Fair

The launching ceremony of the 28th edition of the Latin American International Tourism Fair 2024 (FIT) was held, attended by Andrés Deyá, President of FIT and FAEVYT (Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies), Daniel Scioli, Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, and Julio Glinternick Bitelli, Ambassador of Brazil in Argentina, representing the guest country of this year’s edition.

The launch of the FIT 2024 tourism fair will take place between September 28 and October 1, 2024, at the Buenos Aires Fairgrounds, located at Av. Sarmiento 2704, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

“From September 28 to October 1, FIT will once again be the meeting point for national and international tourism. We are one of the 5 most important fairs in the world and this year we will once again surprise with more destinations, attractions, and all the experiences that tourism can offer in one place. FIT 2024 will have 14% more gross exhibition space than in the previous edition and the expectation of exceeding 125,000 visitors. Brazil will accompany as a guest country along with more than 50 participating countries, all Argentine provinces, and more than 1,700 confirmed exhibitors. Without a doubt, it will be the party that reconfirms the push of tourism as one of the most important industries of the Argentine economy”, said Andrés Deyá, President of FIT.

The launch was also attended by Yanina Martínez, Undersecretary of Tourism of the Nation, Valentín Díaz Gilligan, President of the Tourism Board of the City of Buenos Aires and President of the Federal Council of Tourism (CFT), Gustavo Hani President of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism (CAT), Fabián Lombardo President of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Natalia Recio Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (Inprotur) and the President-elect of the Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies of Buenos Aires (AVIABUE) Adrián Manzotti, among other authorities in the sector.

The International Tourism Fair will be held from September 28 to October 1, 2024, at the Buenos Aires Fairgrounds, known as La Rural, and will offer a wide variety of tourist options and the appeal of each of its stands, presentations, and shows. This edition will feature new sectors: FIT CRUISES, FIT FOOD, and FIT OUTDOOR, always taking into account the needs of the sector, the interests and trends of travellers, and a renewed FIT TECH sector to continue promoting tourism innovation and updating. In addition, it will be a unique opportunity for growth and commercial exchange, with its traditional Business Roundtables, which together with FIT B2B, the management system for exhibitors and professional visitors to continue professionalising their participation, quantifying transactions and business opportunities, constitute an ideal marketing instance for the players in the tourism industry and will be a strong boost for the growth of the activity.
