Embraer firma Memorando de Entendimiento con indonesia PTDI

El fabricante brasileño de aviones Embraer anunció el Domingo 17/11 la firma de un Memorando de Entendimiento (MoU) con la indonesia PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) para ampliar su colaboración en el sector de la aviación comercial.

Embraer es el tercer fabricante mundial de aviones, por detrás de Airbus y Boeing. El acuerdo se formalizó al margen de la Cumbre del G20 en Río de Janeiro, a la que asistieron autoridades indonesias. La asociación incluye estudios conjuntos para evaluar oportunidades en áreas como la ingeniería y el suministro de aeroestructuras, según Embraer.

«PTDI tiene grandes ambiciones para el país», dijo el Presidente de la empresa PTDI, Gita Amperiawan, en un comunicado.

El ejecutivo de Embraer Rodrigo Silva e Souza dijo por su parte que Indonesia era uno de los mercados de aviación de más rápido crecimiento a nivel mundial, y añadió que Embraer había identificado «áreas en las que ambas partes pueden aprovechar su experiencia, mejorar las capacidades aeroespaciales de Indonesia y ampliar su conectividad aérea».

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer announced on Sunday 17/11 the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesian PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) to expand its collaboration in the commercial aviation sector.

Embraer is the world’s third-largest aircraft manufacturer, behind Airbus and Boeing. The agreement was formalized on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, attended by Indonesian authorities. The partnership includes joint studies to assess opportunities in areas such as engineering and supply of aerostructures, according to Embraer.

«PTDI has great ambitions for the country», said PTDI President Gita Amperiawan in a statement.

Embraer executive Rodrigo Silva e Souza said Indonesia was one of the fastest-growing aviation markets globally, adding that Embraer had identified «areas where both parties can leverage their expertise, enhance Indonesia’s aerospace capabilities, and expand its air connectivity».
