Aerolínea recibió mitad aportes que en 2023

En el primer año de gestión de la Administración de Javier Milei, los subsidios a Aerolíneas Argentinas cayeron al nivel más bajo desde su estatización en 2008. Durante 2024, el Gobierno destinó US$ 64,2 millones de Dólares a la aerolínea, lo que representa una reducción del 50% en comparación con los US$ 136 millones en 2023, bajo la Administración de Alberto Fernández. Esta cifra contrasta aún más con los años del kirchnerismo, cuando, en 2012, Aerolíneas alcanzó un pico de US$ 904 millones de Dólares en subsidios.

Sin embargo, los subsidios volvieron a subir en 2018 y 2019, alcanzando US$ 284 y US$ 490 millones de Dólares, respectivamente. Durante la administración de Fernández, el gasto se mantuvo alto, especialmente durante la pandemia. En 2020 se destinaron US$ 638 millones de Dólares, y en 2021, US$ 669 millones. A partir de 2022, el presupuesto comenzó a reducirse nuevamente, llegando a US$ 486 millones ese año y cayendo a US$ 136 millones en 2023.

Desde 2012 hasta 2023, el Estado destinó US$ 6.000 millones de Dólares en Aerolíneas Argentinas bajo la órbita de La Cámpora. Actualmente, recibe casi quince veces menos fondos que en la época de Cristina Kirchner.

La política de ajuste también impactó en el plantel de la compañía, que disminuyó en 1.341 puestos durante el último año, dejando a la aerolínea con 10.602 empleados. Según cifras de la Secretaría de Hacienda, el déficit operativo de Aerolíneas se redujo significativamente, pasando de US$ 513 millones de Dólares en 2023 a US$ 319 millones en 2024. Sin embargo, la compañía sostiene que su pérdida real, ajustada por inflación, es de US$ 83,2 millones de Dólares.

Los fondos transferidos a Aerolíneas se limitaron a un único desembolso en el primer semestre del año, con el objetivo de que la compañía operara durante todo el ejercicio fiscal con recursos propios provenientes de la venta de pasajes. Según relevamientos, el apoyo a la privatización ha crecido significativamente del 10% al 80% tras los conflictos gremiales.
