Aerolíneas Argentinas anunció el regreso de los vuelos internacionales desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Córdoba después de un largo reclamo. Tras el levantamiento de las restricciones a la aviación comercial internacional en Argentina, Aerolíneas Argentinas reanudará los servicios desde Córdoba a Río de Janeiro/GIG en Brasil, así como a El Calafate, Resistencia, Trelew y Ushuaia, incrementando a catorce las rutas desde el Aeropuerto mediterráneo del país, permitiendo alcanzar un nivel óptimo de las frecuencias hacia Enerno 2022, según expresó el CEO Pablo Ceriani.
A partir del 2 de Enero de 2022, el vuelo entre Córdoba/COR—Río de Janeiro/GIG comenzará a operar con tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) los días Miércoles, Viernes y Domingos. En el plano doméstico, reiniciará la ruta El Calafate a partir del 25/10 con dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S) y Córdoba/COR—Ushuaia/USH se restablecerá a partir del 02/11 con dos vuelos semanales (2Frq/S). A partir de 01/2022, se establece la ruta Córdoba/COR—Resistencia/RES (2Frq/S), Córdoba/COR—Trelew/REL (2Frq/S), Córdoba/COR—Mar del Plata/MDQ.

Aerolíneas Argentinas actualmente vuela desde Córdoba a Bariloche, Buenos Aires/AEP, Iguazú, Mendoza, Neuquén, Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán. Actualmente, la aerolínea establecerá tres aeronaves de la flota en su base permanente en Córdoba/COR, lo que permitirá desarrollar una programación de vuelos con mayor eficiencia frente al impulso de la demanda de vuelos en el país. Cinco vuelos semanales COR—BRC a partir del 11/2021
Flybondi Líneas Aéreas ha anunciado esta semana la duplicación de frecuencias en la ruta Córdoba/COR-Bariloche/BRC a partir del 7 de Noviembre de 2021 totalizando cinco frecuencias semanales (5Frq/S) de vuelos pre-inaugurando la temporada de verano en Argentina. Esta docena de frecuencias se incorporan a los vuelos de Jetsmart Airlines Argentina (4Frq/S) y Aerolíneas Argentinas (3Frq/S). Los vuelos se realizarán en aeronaves Boeing 737-800, configurados con 189 asientos en una clase única Economy.
Actualmente la low cost argentina cuenta con dos vuelos por semana entre ambas ciudades desde Julio 2021, luego de dieciséis meses de suspenciones en el tráfico aéreo regular. Flybondi reiniciará el próximo 31/10 la conexión Córdoba—Iguazú con frecuencias no confirmadas, cancelados desde Marzo 2020 debido a la crisis sanitaria.

Five weekly COR—BRC flights starting 11/2021
Flybondi Líneas Aéreas has announced this week the doubling of frequencies on the Córdoba/COR-Bariloche/BRC route as of November 7, 2021, totaling five weekly frequencies (5Frq/S) of flights pre-inaugurating the summer season in Argentina. Wizz Air expandirá flota y servicios desde Ucrania
Wizz Air, la aerolínea low cost húngara ha anunciado la expansión de sus servicios aumentando el número de aviones en Ucrania casi tres veces y lanzará veintiséis nuevos vuelos. La aerolínea de presupuesto anunció un aumento en sus bases en Ucrania en siete aviones en los próximos 3-6 meses. Esto sucedió después de que el 12 de Octubre de 2021, la Unión Europea (UE) y Ucrania firmaran un acuerdo sobre cielos abiertos, que liberaliza el mercado de vuelos.
La base de Wizz Air en el Aeropuerto Kiev/Zhulyany aumentará en cinco aviones, de tres a ocho unidades. La base en Lviv crecerá de un avión a tres aviones. Expansión Wizz Air en Ucrania
La base aérea de Wizz Air en Kiev ahora consta de tres aviones Airbus A320-200CEO, en Lviv de un avión A320-200CEO. En Kiev, la aerolínea de bajo costo traerá un A320 adicional y cuatro aviones Airbus A321 más espaciosos. La base en Lviv se expandirá con dos A321. Por el momento, la aerolínea no ha decidido si serán nuevos aviones de la fábrica, o la aerolínea de bajo costo transferirá aviones desde bases en otros países.
El Jefe de la Junta Directiva de la compañía Master-Avia, que administra el Aeropuerto Kiev, Denis Kostrzhevsky, dijo que está lista para recibir y basar aviones más pesados A321. Para quienes su destino es Toronto, los pasajeros del vuelo AC096 embarcados en Buenos Aires podrán hacer conexión inmediata y sencilla en el Aeropuerto de Guarulhos con el servicio diario y directo São Paulo/GRU—Toronto/YYZ. United Airlines has announced the development of new destinations as part of the reactivations of the international airline network with a strong commitment to transatlantic travel in 2022. As international flights continue to reach pre-pandemic levels, the Chicago-based airline is planning the major expansion of its network of transatlantic routes.
United Airlines’ plan for its 2022 route map will include destinations that dot the Middle East, Scandinavia and Europe, many of which are cities that are currently not served by any American airline. «We want to travel again to be fun. We want everyone to be excited and eager to travel to these exciting destinations», said Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of International Networks and Alliances for United Airlines, in a media conference call on Wednesday the 13/10.
The first of the new flights to begin next year will be a flight from Washington (DC) to Amman, Jordan. When the first flight launches on May 5, 2022, it will make United the only North American airline to fly to Amman. «We believe that there are countless tourism opportunities [in Jordan]. Petra, the Dead Sea, the Wadi Rum desert, there are many artifacts around Amman. We believe that Jordan is a promising hotspot for tourism in that way», said Patrick Quayle. The route will be flown by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft and will operate three times a week (3Frq / S).
The airline also plans to begin daily nonstop flights between the New York area and the Azores islands of Portugal, specifically from New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport to Ponta Delgada, the capital of the archipelago, starting May 13, 2022. United will be the only airline to fly between the two locations and will operate the route with a new Boeing 737-8 MAX single-aisle narrow-body aircraft (narrowbodies). On board, the company says the cabins will have enhanced seatback entertainment with Bluetooth connectivity and overhead compartment space for each customer.
Elsewhere, the airline plans to fly from New Jersey/Newark to three more destinations that are currently not served by US airlines: Bergen, Norway, beginning May 20, 2022; Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands of Spain from June 2, 2022 and Tenerife in the Canary Islands from June 9, 2022. Each new route will be flown by United Airlines three times a week (3Frq/S). Additionally, as part of its extensive transatlantic expansion, the airline announced that it would add more flights on existing popular routes, including daily flights between Denver—Munich; Chicago—Milan and Washington DC—Berlin.
While there is no doubt that the new routes are remarkable, the massive transatlantic expansion appears to be a hopeful sign for a strong return to international travel next year 2022. According to Patrick Quayle: «We are confident in the mandate of the vaccine, with the vaccine proliferation around the world and the strong stocks that we’ve been seeing since the [Biden] administration opened the borders. We’re confident that stocks across the liner will be the best they have been».
