JetSmart incrementa 4 vuelos semanales a Ushuaia

En el marco de la amplia demanda que reciben las aerolíneas para operar hacia la Provincia de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur, la aerolínea low cost JetSmart Airlines Argentina incrementará a cuatro frecuencias semanales (4Frq/S) para el mes de Septiembre 2021 desde Buenos Aires hacia Ushuaia, la capital fueguina. Los vuelos programados se desarrollarán los días Martes, Miércoles, Jueves y Sábados en la ruta directa Buenos Aires/AEP—Ushuaia.

El Presidente del INFUETUR, Dante Querciali celebró este anuncio indicando que “es una excelente noticia para nuestra provincia debido a la gran demanda de parte de los turistas por conocer nuestro destino, estamos teniendo una excelente temporada invernal por lo tanto sumar vuelos es sumamente importante, es el rumbo al que hay que seguir apuntando. A partir del mes de Septiembre, la Aerolínea JetSmart sumará un vuelo más, siendo un total de cuatro vuelos semanales los días Martes, Miércoles, Jueves y Sábados. La provincia trabajó articuladamente con los prestadores turísticos para continuar ofreciendo un servicio de calidad, con los protocolos adecuados para cada actividad invernal, para los locales gastronómicos, los alojamientos turísticos y los comercios. Avelo iniciará nueva base New Haven

La aerolínea de bajo costo estadounidense Avelo Airlines se está dirigiendo hacia la costa Este de Estados Unidos. La nueva startup ha revelado las primeras cuatro rutas para su nueva base de la costa Este desde su nuevo hub de distribución en el Aeropuerto Tweed New Haven/HVN, Estado de Connecticut. Las nuevas rutas comenzarían en Noviembre 2021.

Avelo Airlines inicialmente ofrecerá cuatro rutas, todas hacia destinos de ocio tropical en el Estado de Florida. La aerolínea operará un vuelo ceremonial a Orlando el 03/11 antes de iniciar oficialmente un programa de cinco vuelos semanales (5Frq/S) en la ruta New Haven—Orlando, un día después. Para el 11 de Noviembre de 2021 entrará en servicio a otras tres ciudades: Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers y Tampa. Avelo dice que su nuevo servicio, todo en aviones Boeing 737-700, le dará a New Haven su primer servicio regular a Florida.

Los nuevos destinos desde el Aeropuerto Tweed-New Haven permitirán hacer crecer a la aerolínea low cost en el mercado de la costa Este de estados Unidos. Avelo Airlines dice que sus nuevas rutas hacia Florida desde New Haven marcarán «la primera vez en treinta años que el aeropuerto servirá simultáneamente a más de dos destinos». US low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines is heading to the East Coast of the United States. The new startup has revealed the first four routes for its new East Coast base from its new distribution hub at Tweed New Haven Airport/HVN, State of Connecticut. The new routes would begin in November 2021.

Avelo Airlines will initially offer four routes, all to tropical leisure destinations in the State of Florida. The airline will operate a ceremonial flight to Orlando on 11/03 before officially starting a schedule of five weekly flights (5Frq/S) on the New Haven—Orlando route a day later. By November 11, 2021, it will enter into service to three other cities: Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers and Tampa. Avelo says its new service, all on Boeing 737-700 jets, will give New Haven its first regular service to Florida.

The new destinations from Tweed-New Haven Airport will allow the low cost airline to grow in the market on the East Coast of the United States. Avelo Airlines says its new routes to Florida from New Haven will mark «the first time in thirty years that the airport will serve more than two destinations simultaneously». Currently, American Airlines is the only scheduled passenger carrier at the airport, where its American Eagle regional affiliates fly a single route to American’s Philadelphia hub.

«Today’s announcement from Avelo Airlines is another clear step toward transforming Tweed-New Haven into a more vibrant and sustainable airport, one that can help create jobs and serve as an economic engine for our region. Now, his plans to start service in New Haven will bring Avelo to both coasts. British Airways reanuda el servicio en Octubre 2021

La aerolínea British Airways ha anunciado le restablecimiento de los servicios a St. Kitts & Nevis dando la bienvenida a los viajeros aéreos internacionales completamente vacunados del Reino Unido a partir del 1 de Septiembre de 2021. La restricción de viaje para los viajeros internacionales del Reino Unido finaliza el 31 de Agosto de 2021. British Airways ha anunciado la reanudación del servicio desde London/Gatwick a la Isla St. Kitts & Nevis el Domingo 3 de Octubre de 2021.

El vuelo operará dos Domingos consecutivos, el 3 y 10 de Octubre de 2021, proporcionando un servicio una vez a la semana durante esas dos semanas. El servicio dos veces por semana los Sábados y Miércoles comienza el Sábado 16/10.

British resumes Saint Kitts and Nevis

British Airways has announced the reinstatement of services to St. Kitts & Nevis welcoming fully vaccinated international air travelers from the UK as of September 1, 2021. Travel restriction for UK international travelers ends August 31, 2021. British Airways has announced the resumption of service from London/Gatwick to St. Kitts & Nevis Island on Sunday October 3, 2021.

Aéreas expandirán servicios hacia Córdoba y Buenos Aires

Avianca Airlines y Viva Air anunciaron su interés en desembarcar en Argentina en estos tiempos post-pandemia para conectar Colombia con el país austral. Tanto Avianca y Viva Air anunciaron su interés en invertir en nuevos vuelos en Argentina, que por primera vez conectarían al país con las ciudades de Medellín y Cali, informó el Instituto Nacional de Promoción Turística (Inprotur), dependiente del Ministerio de Turismo y Deportes de Argentina que precisó que el anuncio lo efectuaron representantes de ambas compañías aéreas esta semana, en el marco del desarrollo de la audiencia pública de la Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia.

Avianca Airlines conservaba dos vuelos diarios Bogotá—Buenos Aires/EZE, apunta a sumar siete vuelos semanales en la ruta Medellín—Buenos Aires/EZE, de Bogotá—Córdoba y de Cali—Buenos Aires/EZE, con siete frecuencias por semana en las tres rutas asignadas. Viva Air desembarcaría en Argentina por primera vez con la intención de incorporar siete frecuencias semanales en la ruta Medellín—Córdoba (7Frq/S), Medellín—Buenos Aires/EZE (7Frq/S) y Bogotá—Buenos Aires/EZE (7Frq/S), permitiendo arribar con una fuerte presencia a las pampas argentinas.

Las aerolíneas Avianca y Viva Air han comunicado el firme interés por aterrizar en Argentina. En el texto, el Inprotur sostiene que de concretarse la propuesta será “un hecho histórico para el turismo argentino, por primera vez habría vuelos a nuestro país desde Medellín y Cali“. La próxima Audiencia Pública de la Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia se realizará el 26/08 esperando obtener las autorizaciones respectivas para luego realizar las solicitudes respectivas a la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Argentina.
