Arajet recibe su décimo Boeing 737 MAX
Aerolínea expande sus rutas internacionales

Arajet ha anunciado el 11 de Junio de 2024 que ha recibido el décimo Boeing 737 MAX de Arajet que arribó en la fecha a Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, mientras la aerolínea continúa aumentando su flota de bajo consumo de combustible. Esta entrega de la variante Boeing 737-8 MAX a través de un arrendador respalda la estrategia de crecimiento de Arajet en todo el continente americano, pues la aerolínea planea duplicar con creces sus rutas en los próximos años.

«Este décimo avión es único, no solo porque tiene una cinta especial dominicana pintada en el fuselaje, sino porque aumentará el número de conexiones que hacemos con el continente. Reafirmamos nuestro compromiso de democratizar los cielos y poder conectar a todos nuestros países con los precios más bajos posibles», dijo Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO y fundador de Arajet.

Desde su lanzamiento en 2022, Arajet ha aumentado su flota de 737 MAX para servir a 23 destinos en 16 países, incluidos Canadá, México y Argentina. El desempeño de Arajet le valió el reconocimiento como la Aerolínea Startup del año en la Cumbre Mundial de Aviación en 2023.

Con aviones 737-8 MAX que pueden volar hasta 3.500 millas náuticas, la aerolínea opera algunas de las rutas más largas de la región, conectando eficientemente el Caribe con América del Norte y del Sur.

Propulsado por motores CFM International LEAP-1B y winglets de tecnología avanzada, el 737 MAX reduce el uso de combustible y las emisiones en un 20% en comparación con los aviones a los que sustituye. Puede volar más lejos que los aviones de la generación anterior y tiene una huella de ruido un 50% menor.

El informe Perspectivas del Mercado Comercial a 20 años de Boeing para América Latina y el Caribe pronostica que más del 90% de la demanda de aviones de la región será de aviones de pasillo único para servir rutas populares, incluidas las de América del Norte.

Arajet announced on June 11, 2024, that it has taken delivery of Arajet’s tenth Boeing 737 MAX which arrived on that date in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, as the airline continues to increase its fuel-efficient fleet. This delivery of the Boeing 737-8 MAX variant through a lessor supports Arajet’s growth strategy throughout the Americas, as the airline plans to more than double its routes in the coming years.

With 737-8 MAX aircraft that can fly up to 3,500 nautical miles, the airline operates some of the longest routes in the region, efficiently connecting the Caribbean with North and South America.

Powered by CFM International LEAP-1B engines and advanced technology winglets, the 737 MAX reduces fuel use and emissions by 20% compared to the aircraft it replaces. It can fly further than previous-generation aircraft and has a 50% smaller noise footprint.

Boeing’s 20-year Commercial Market Outlook for Latin America and the Caribbean report forecasts that more than 90% of the region’s aircraft demand will be for single-aisle aircraft to serve popular routes, including those to North America.
