Boeing 737-800 despista en Aeropuerto Bariloche

Un Boeing 737-800 de Flybondi, matrícula LV-KAY que realizaba el vuelo FO-5240 desde Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE) a San Carlos de Bariloche (BRC), Argentina, aterrizó en la Pista 29 de Bariloche alrededor de las 08:49L (11:49Z) pero sobrepasó el final de la pista y se detuvo con el tren delantero en terreno blando y el tren principal justo en superficie pavimentada.

El Junta de Segurida de Tansporte (JST) de Argentina anunció que un equipo de investigadores ha sido enviado al lugar y calificó el suceso como un incidente grave. El hecho fue protagonizado por una aeronave Boeing 737-8Q8, matrícula LV-KAY. El episodio ocurrió este Jueves 20/01 a la mañana y como consecuencia hubo un bloqueo temporal en la estación aérea por espacio de dos horas sin operaciones aerocomerciales en el Aeropuerto Bariloche. En el incidente, no ha habido heridos entre los pasajeros.

La aerolínea low cost emitió un comunicado de prensa en el que explicó el episodio que protagonizó una de sus aeronaves, luego de aterrizar en Bariloche: «Se trata del avión que cubría el vuelo F05240, que se excedió en la maniobra en pista luego de haber aterrizado en la pista de Bariloche, cuando una intensa nevada se precipitaba sobre la zona». Tanto los pasajeros como la tripulación fueron desembarcados del avión sin inconvenientes y sin presentar ninguna novedad. La investigación está a cargo de la Junta de Seguridad en el Transporte (JST)». La aeronave se excedió en la distancia de aterrizaje conocido como overrun o runway excursion.

A Flybondi Boeing 737-800, registration LV-KAY that was carrying out flight FO-5240 from Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (EZE) to San Carlos de Bariloche (BRC), Argentina, landed on Runway 29 in Bariloche around 08:00: 49L (11:49Z) but overshot the end of the runway and stopped with the front gear on soft ground and the main gear right on a paved surface.

The Transportation Safety Board (JST) of Argentina announced that a team of investigators has been sent to the scene and described the event as a serious incident. The incident was carried out by a Boeing 737-8Q8 aircraft, registration LV-KAY. The episode occurred this Thursday morning, 01/20 and as a consequence there was a temporary blockade at the air station for two hours without commercial air operations at the Bariloche Airport. No passengers were injured in the incident.

The low-cost airline issued a press release in which it explained the episode that occurred in one of its aircraft, after landing in Bariloche: «This is the plane that covered flight F05240, which exceeded the maneuver on the runway after having landed on the Bariloche runway, when heavy snow fell on the area». Both passengers and crew were disembarked from the plane without any problems and without any news. The investigation is being carried out by the Transportation Safety Board (JST). The aircraft exceeded the landing distance known as overrun or runway excursion.

In this winter 2024 season, the Flybondi airline is strengthening its connectivity in southern Argentina by increasing its flights to Bariloche, Ushuaia, and El Calafate, as well as its services to Brazil. In total, the low-cost airline will operate more than 260 weekly flights between its 16 domestic, 5 interprovincial, and 3 international routes in Brazil.
