COMAC ARJ21 debuta en operación a gran altitud

Chengdu Airlines completaron el primer vuelo entre Kashgar y Tashkurgan en operaciones a gran altitud con aeronaves COMAC ARJ21-700 a 3.258 metros sobre el nivel del mar. El avión regional ARJ21 alcanzó otro hito, el primer vuelo regular a un destino a gran altitud.

Aunque el ARJ21 no es un avión diseñado para este perfil de vuelo, COMAC planea colocar en el mercado el C919 Plateau Variant, con un fuselaje más corto, para 140 pasajeros, y la capacidad de operar a gran altitud y clima cálido.

Según la Administración de Aviación Civil de China (CAAC), se consideran aeropuertos de gran altitud aquellos que se encuentran a 2.438 metros o más.

A partir de 2023, hay un total de 24 aeropuertos de altura en operación en todo el país, distribuidos en las regiones suroeste, noroeste y centro-sur, con 12 aerolíneas que operan con aviones Airbus A319, A330 y Boeing 737-700.

Chengdu Airlines estableció tres bases en la región de Xinjiang, Turpan, Yining y Kashgar y desplegó nueve aviones ARJ21 para volar alrededor de 40 rutas en 24 aeropuertos. Uno de los vuelos marcó recientemente el debut del ARJ21 en un destino de Asia Central.

According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), high-altitude airports are those that are 2,438 meters or higher.

As of 2023, there are a total of 24 high-altitude airports in operation across the country, spread across the southwest, northwest, and south-central regions, with 12 airlines operating Airbus A319, A330, and Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
