Volaris inaugura nueva ruta Cancún-McAllen

Volaris Airlines, la aerolínea mexicana de bajo costo que opera en México, Estados Unidos, Centro y Sudamérica, celebró la inauguración de su nueva ruta internacional que conecta a Cancún con la ciudad de McAllen, Texas, fortaleciendo así su operación y oferta de destinos entre ambas ciudades.

La nueva ruta Cancún/CAN—McAllen/MFE opera con dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S) los Miércoles y Sábados, proporcionando conectividad directa entre dos puntos estratégicos que fomentan el desarrollo del turismo y los negocios en ambos países. Los ciudadanos de McAllen, ciudad ubicada en el sur de Texas, podrán beneficiarse de los precios competitivos que ofrece Volaris para viajar a Cancún, destino turístico líder en América Latina y uno de los más populares de México.

En el evento celebrado en el Aeropuerto de McAllen, Fernanda Pereda, Gerente de Ventas y Desarrollo de Mercado de estados Unidos de Volaris, realizó el corte del listón en compañía de autoridades e invitados especiales, ante quienes señaló: “Estamos muy agradecidos por el apoyo y facilidades que nos brindaron las autoridades y el aeropuerto de McAllen para hacer posible esta ruta con la que fortalecemos nuestra posición como la principal conexión que une a las comunidades latinas con sus seres queridos en México, además de facilitar el acceso a los viajeros estadounidenses a los destinos turísticos más importantes de México, como lo es Cancún”.

“Estamos muy contentos de ver cómo Volaris continúa expandiendo sus rutas desde Cancún, uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes de México. La nueva ruta a McAllen no solo facilitará el flujo de turistas entre ambas ciudades, sino que también impulsará el comercio y fortalecerá los vínculos culturales. Quintana Roo sigue trabajando arduamente para ofrecer a los viajeros opciones convenientes y accesibles, y este nuevo vuelo es un paso significativo en esa dirección”, expresó Bernardo Cueto, Secretario de Turismo de Quintana Roo, México.

Por su parte, el Alcalde de la ciudad de McAllen, Javier Villalobos, expresó: “El servicio sin escalas a Cancún abre un mundo de oportunidades de ocio y negocios con sus hermosas playas, rica herencia cultural e industria turística vibrante. Ahora, gracias a Volaris Airlines, nuestros residentes pueden disfrutar de la comodidad de vuelos directos a este paraíso para hacer que viajar a Cancún sea más eficiente y agradable”.

The new Cancún/CAN—McAllen/MFE route operates with two weekly frequencies (2Frq/S) on Wednesdays and Saturdays, providing direct connectivity between two strategic points that promote the development of tourism and business in both countries. Citizens of McAllen, a city located in southern Texas, will be able to benefit from the competitive prices offered by Volaris to travel to Cancun, a leading tourist destination in Latin America and one of the most popular in Mexico.

At the event held at the McAllen Airport, Fernanda Pereda, United States Sales and Market Development Manager of Volaris, cut the ribbon in the company of authorities and special guests, to whom she stated: “We are very grateful for the support and facilities provided to us by the authorities and the McAllen airport to make this route possible with which we strengthen our position as the main connection that unites Latino communities with their loved ones in Mexico, in addition to facilitating access for American travelers to the most important tourist destinations in Mexico, such as Cancun”.
