LOT Polish Airlines recibe primer Embraer E195-E2

LOT Polish Airlines ha recibido su primer Embraer E195-E2, tres meses después de firmar un acuerdo para ampliar su flota regional con tres de este tipo. El anuncio se realizó el 1 de Agosto de 2024. Según Embraer, LOT está agregando el E2-Jet a su flota para mejorar la flexibilidad operativa y acomodar la expansión de la red.

El Embraer E195-E2 es el primero de los tres aviones que se alquilarán a través de Azorra. El avión ofrece un 12,5% menos de consumo de combustible y emisiones, además de ser significativamente más silencioso que su competidor más cercano. Se espera que los tres Embraer E195-E2 se entreguen en octubre de 2024.

«Con estos aviones aumentaremos la frecuencia de los vuelos a ciudades europeas seleccionadas. LOT Polish Airlines has taken delivery of its first Embraer E195-E2, three months after signing an agreement to expand its regional fleet with three of the type. LOT Polish Airlines has become the 17th E2 operator. According to Embraer, the number of operators has grown by 88% over the past two years.
