Airbus confirma entregas cayeron a cincuenta aeronaves

Las entregas de Airbus Group cayeron un 9% en Septiembre 2024, lo que representan cincuenta (50) aviones colocados a varios clientes en todo el mundo, en comparación con el mismo mes del año anterior, informó el Miércoles 9 de Septiembre de 2024 el fabricante europeo de aviones. La cifra eleva las entregas acumuladas en lo que va de año a 497 aviones, representando un 2% más que los 488 de hace nueve meses anteriores.

Airbus ha informado que había ganado 235 nuevos pedidos en Septiembre 2024, incluida la demanda de un cliente no revelado de 75 aviones de fuselaje estrecho y 10 A350 de fuselaje ancho. En lo que va de año, el mayor fabricante de aviones del mundo ha conseguido pedidos por un total de 667 aviones, o 648 después de las cancelaciones. Airbus no publica un objetivo para los pedidos, pero fuentes de la industria dicen que está apuntando informalmente a unos 1.100 pedidos para todo 2024.

Airbus se ha fijado como objetivo 770 entregas para todo el año, tras reducir su meta en Julio 2024, alegando la escasez de motores y otras piezas en un momento en que la cadena de suministro de la industria aeroespacial lucha por recuperarse de los efectos de la crisis sanitaria mundial y la falta de personal calificado. El constructor europeo se enfrenta a una aceleración hacia la meta en el tradicionalmente ajetreado cuarto trimestre para alcanzar las metas propuestas.

Airbus Group deliveries fell by 9% in September 2024, representing fifty (50) aircraft placed with various customers around the world, compared to the same month last year, the European aircraft manufacturer reported on Wednesday, September 9, 2024. The figure brings cumulative deliveries so far this year to 497 aircraft, representing 2% more than the 488 nine months ago.

Airbus has reported that it had won 235 new orders in September 2024, including demand from an undisclosed customer for 75 narrow-body aircraft and 10 wide-body A350s. So far this year, the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer has secured orders for a total of 667 aircraft, or 648 after cancellations. Airbus does not publish a target for orders, but industry sources say it is informally targeting about 1,100 orders for the whole of 2024.

Airbus has targeted 770 deliveries for the full year, after lowering its target in July 2024, citing shortages of engines and other parts at a time when the aerospace industry supply chain is struggling to recover from the effects of the global health crisis and a lack of skilled personnel. The figures suggest Airbus would need to deliver 273 aircraft in the fourth quarter to meet its main target, 11% more than in the same quarter last year. The European manufacturer faces a rush to the target in the traditionally busy fourth quarter to meet its targets.
