Binter designada mejor aerolínea año 2024

La Asociación de Aerolíneas Regionales Europeas (ERA) ha anunciado en Sevilla, España, con motivo de su Asamblea General, la concesión del galardón a la aerolínea regional española Binter con el premio «Airline of the Year». El galardón representa una declaración al apoyo de la aerolínea a las economías y ciudadanos de distintos territorios, su fuerte compromiso con la sostenibilidad y la tecnología y la creación de Aeronautical Training Centre. También concedieron a la aerolínea canaria el Regional Connectivity Award, en relación al crecimiento sostenible que ha llevado a cabo la aerolínea, con especial atención a las nuevas rutas en el corredor Islas Canarias—Madrid.

La compañía regional canaria al alcanzado su octavo galardón de la destacada asociación que integra a las 55 principales compañías aéreas regionales europeas y a 150 asociados y afiliados que representan a todo el espectro del sector de la aviación entre ellos aerolíneas, aeropuertos, fabricantes y proveedores de servicios.

El premio Airline of the Year fue entregado al Vicepresidente de Binter, Alfredo Morales, mientras que el encargado de recoger el ERA Regional Connectivity Award 2024 fue David Manzanas, Gerente de Binter Airlines.

«Recibir el premio más importante de la ERA este año significa mucho para Binter, ya que celebramos el 35º aniversario de nuestra aerolínea. La seguridad, un servicio de calidad y la innovación constante representan nuestros valores prioritarios y brindar a nuestros clientes la mejor experiencia de viaje es nuestro principal objetivo, por lo que estar aquí esta noche recibiendo este premio significa que lo estamos haciendo bien», expresó Alfredo Morales.

El Gerente de Binter Airlines, David Manzanas, ha recogido el premio otorgado a la compañía aérea en virtud a la conectividad regional y expresó que «este premio significa mucho para nosotros y muestra el arduo trabajo que realizamos cada día con el objetivo de conectar personas y lugares. Estamos orgullosos de ser la aerolínea que conecta personas y comunidades en Canarias».

La ERA (European Regions Airline Association) reconoce la importancia de las operaciones regionales, galardonando la excelencia a través de los premios Airline of the Year, que este año ha sido otorgado a Binter.

En su resolución el jurado independiente valoró especialmente el importante compromiso con la sostenibilidad, directamente con respecto a su impacto como aerolínea, pero también apoyando y mejorando activamente el medio ambiente de sus territorios de origen; la apertura de cinco nuevas rutas en el año que generaron un crecimiento significativo en conexiones y pasajeros, apoyando las economías y los pueblos de sus territorios de origen; la puesta en marcha en 2023 de Aeronautical Training Centre como incubadora de profesionales de la aviación, proporcionando formación especializada y actuando como agencia de colocación para mejorar la empleabilidad en el sector a nivel nacional; y la apuesta por la tecnología para impulsar su negocio en todos los ámbitos, para mejorar la eficiencia, el desempeño medioambiental, la formación y la seguridad.

Binter named best airline of the year 2024

The Association of European Regional Airlines (ERA) has announced in Seville, Spain, on the occasion of its General Assembly, the award to the Spanish regional airline Binter with the «Airline of the Year» award. The award represents a declaration of the airline’s support for the economies and citizens of different territories, its strong commitment to sustainability and technology and the creation of the Aeronautical Training Centre. They also awarded the Canarian airline the Regional Connectivity Award, in relation to the sustainable growth that the airline has carried out, with special attention to the new routes in the Canary Islands-Madrid corridor.

The Canarian regional company has achieved its eighth award from the outstanding association that integrates the 55 main European regional airlines and 150 associates and affiliates that represent the entire spectrum of the aviation sector, including airlines, airports, manufacturers and service providers.

The Airline of the Year award was presented to Binter Vice President Alfredo Morales, while the person in charge of collecting the ERA Regional Connectivity Award 2024 was David Manzanas, Manager of Binter Airlines.

«Receiving the most important award from the ERA this year means a lot to Binter, as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of our airline. Safety, quality service and constant innovation represent our priority values ​​and providing our customers with the best travel experience is our main objective, so being here tonight receiving this award means that we are doing well», said Alfredo Morales.

The Manager of Binter Airlines, David Manzanas, has collected the award given to the airline for regional connectivity and expressed that «this award means a lot to us and shows the hard work we do every day with the aim of connecting people and places. We are proud to be the airline that connects people and communities in the Canary Islands».

In its decision, the independent jury particularly valued the important commitment to sustainability, directly with regard to its impact as an airline, but also actively supporting and improving the environment of its home territories; the opening of five new routes in the year that generated significant growth in connections and passengers, supporting the economies and towns of its home territories; the launch in 2023 of the Aeronautical Training Centre as an incubator for aviation professionals, providing specialised training and acting as a placement agency to improve employability in the sector at a national level; and the commitment to technology to boost its business in all areas, to improve efficiency, environmental performance, training and safety.
