Copa Airlines inaugurará a partir del 26 de Junio de 2024, conectando Panamá con Tulum, ubicada en el estado mexicano de Quintana Roo, permitirá acceder a un nuevo destino turístico ubicado al sur de Quintana Roo entre la Riviera Maya y Bacalar, a orillas del Mar Caribe. Egyptair volará ruta El Cairo-Buenos Aires

La aerolínea Egyptair, una importante país de África, anunció sus intenciones de desembarcar en Argentina. La compañía aérea de Egipto ha establecido los trámites correspondientes para realizar la ruta El Cairo/CAI—Buenos Aires/EZE

El anuncio lo hizo la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) a través de su cuenta de Twitter, donde señalaron que el embajador de Egipto, Mohamed Ibrahim Kazem, le confirmó a Paola Tamburelli, titular de la autoridad aérea en el país, el interés de Egypt Air de extender sus servicios a la Argentina. “La ANAC se encuentra en negociaciones con la autoridad egipcia para firmar un acuerdo bilateral que permita a la empresa operar entre El Cairo y Buenos Aires. Ambos se encuentran en un importante desarrollo aerocomercial y estableciendo nuevos vuelos, tanto directos como con escala, a través de más centros de conexión y convenios comerciales de sus empresa”, concluyeron en la cadena de tuits al respecto.

Otros desembarcos
La ANAC anunció que existen otras líneas aéreas con intenciones de desembarcar en Argentina, entre ellas Arajet, una aerolínea de modelo low cost de la República Dominicana que busca sumarse al mercado para ofrecer nuevos vuelos entre Argentina y El Caribe, uniendo por primer vez la ruta Santo Domingo/SDQ—Buenos Aires/EZE, lo que de concretarse marcaría un hito en el mercado aerocomercial del país. Los vuelos se desarrollarían entre el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ezeiza y el Aeropuerto Internacional las Américas de Santo domingo, dando más posibilidades para que los turistas argentinos viajen a ese país, concretamente a Punta Cana y otras ciudades turísticas de ese país, como Bayahibe, y también a otros destinos del Caribe, así como para que más turistas de Centroamérica puedan llegar a la Argentina.

La ANAC ha anunciado que Avianca, que opera de forma regular en el mercado aercomercial argentino, tiene las intenciones en este caso de incrementar sus frecuencias desde todas sus filiales en Colombia, Ecuador y Costa Rica.

Cubana de Aviación también tiene intenciones de regresar a la Argentina, en este caso se confirmó que la compañía aérea con sede central en La Habana, regresaría al país a partir de Mayo 2023, siendo así la Argentina el primer país de América del Sur al que regresaría a volar de forma regular.

Es importante remarcar que estas últimas tres aerolíneas mencionadas, Arajet, Avianca y Cubana de Aviación, llegan al país luego de que Viva Air deje un espacio vacante para nuevos vuelos hacia Centroamérica y El Caribe, debido a sus severos problemas financieros y posterior cierre.

Según sus datos, durante el mes de Febrero 20223 las ventas turísticas hacia el Caribe se incrementaron respecto al mismo mes de 2022; hacia México crecieron un 41%, hacia República Dominicana un 50%, hacia Aruba un 2% y hacia Cuba otro 2 por ciento.

Abaeté Linhas Aéreas ampliación vuelos a destinos bahianos

Abaeté Linhas Aéreas de Brasil ha anunciado la intención de ampliar los vuelos a destinos en el Estado de Bahía (BH). Con la consolidación de vuelos regulares a Morro de São Paulo y Barra Grande, desde Salvador/SSA, Abaeté pretende expandir sus operaciones en destinos turísticos bahianos. La aerolínea está interesada en reanudar las operaciones hacia Mucugê, en la Chapada Diamantina, y servicios a Boipeba. Frontier anuncia nuevos vuelos internacionales desde Atlanta

Frontier Airlines anunció el Martes 21/03 que lanzará más vuelos desde Atlanta a partir de Mayo 2023, incluidas rutas a Centroamérica y el Caribe. Las adiciones convertirán a Atlanta en la tercera operación más grande para Frontier, con sede en Denver, con 38 rutas desde Atlanta-Hartsfield Jackson/ATL.

Frontier dijo que comenzará a volar desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Hartsfield-Jackson a Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala a partir del 12/05 y Santo Domingo, República Dominicana a partir del 11/05. Aerolíneas Argentinas ampliará frecuencias Buenos Aires-Catamarca

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha anunciado que ampliará a partir del mes de Abril 2023 a once las frecuencias semanales (11Frq/S) que unen Buenos Aires con Catamarca. En un comunicado la compañía aérea señaló que “desde Abril, la empresa volará once frecuencias semanales y luego, en Septiembre, sumará una frecuencia más, alcanzado las doce semanales”.

Además, desde la empresa indicaron que se realizaron cambios en la estructura tarifaria. La ampliación de frecuencias representa un incremento del 203% en asientos respecto al año anterior 2022 y a su vez, un 111% más que en 2019. De esta manera, con una mayor oferta, el precio de la tarifa base alcanzará los AR$ 11.574 Pesos por tramo más impuestos. De esta forma, un pasaje ida y vuelta podría costar AR$ 27.000 Pesos con una anticipación de compra de treinta días.

Según se informó, la estructura tarifaria para Catamarca será equiparable a la de Tucumán y La Rioja. El acuerdo llega luego de una serie de reuniones con Diputados, Senadores y representantes del Gobierno provincial. “Es una buena noticia para los catamarqueños ya que van a contar con una mejor oferta a nivel general tanto en vuelos como en tarifas. Aerolíneas está comprometida con el federalismo y esta es una acción que va en esa línea”, señaló Pablo Ceriani, CEO de Aerolíneas Argentinas.

Aerolíneas también ha comunicado que la Provincia de Catamarca contará con al menos cuatro vuelos de refuerzo durante la semana de la Fiesta del Poncho. La 52° Fiesta Nacional e Internacional del Poncho se realizará del Viernes 14 al Domingo 23 de Julio en el Predio Ferial Catamarca.

InterCaribbean servicios a Granada y San Cristóbal y Nieves

Flynas anuncia nuevas rutas de verano a Europa y Asia

La aerolínea de bajo costo de Arabia Saudita, flynas, ha anunciado que agregará diez nuevas rutas a destinos en Asia y Europa durante la próxima temporada de verano de este año, a partir de Junio de 2023. Los nuevos destinos operarán desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Rey Khalid en Riad. Estos incluyen las Maldivas, Ereván (Armania), Antalya (Türkiye) y Tivat (Montenegro). Saudi Arabian low-cost airline flynas has announced that it will add ten new routes to destinations in Asia and Europe during the upcoming summer season this year, starting in June 2023. The new destinations will operate from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. These include the Maldives, Yerevan (Armania), Antalya (Türkiye) and Tivat (Montenegro). It will also operate four routes from Dammam to Salalah (Oman), Istanbul and Trabzon (Türkiye) and Tirana (Albania). In addition, flynas will launch two more routes from Jeddah to Salalah towards Bodrum (Türkiye). With the incorporation of these new routes, the number of destinations in the airline’s summer seasonal network will reach twenty-three destinations.

The airline has commented that it will extend other services that will be relaunched this 2023, including Prague (Czech Republic), Vienna and Salzburg (Austria), Baku (Azerbaijan), Tbilisi and Batumi (Georgia), Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Hurghada and Sharm El -Sheikh (Egypt), Trabzon and Bodrum (Türkiye) and Salalah (Oman).

flynas CEO Bander Almohanna said the move to increase flights was in line with the country’s aviation growth strategy. «This approach is in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the civil aviation strategy to reach 330 million passengers, 250 international destinations and 100 million tourists annually».
