La compañía norteamericana JetBlue Airways anunció un nuevo servicio sin escalas entre el Aeropuerto Internacional Orlando/MCO y dos de los principales destinos del Caribe. La aerolínea volará desde Orlando a los aeropuertos dominicanos de Punta Cana y de Santiago programados para Noviembre 2023.
Una vez que comience el servicio, JetBlue se convertirá en la única aerolínea en servir a Santiago con un servicio sin escalas desde Orlando. Aerolíneas Argentinas ha anunciado el retorno de la ruta estacional Ushuaia/USH—São Paulo/GRU con dos frecuencias semanales del 6 de Julio al 20 de Agosto de 2023. La Secretaria de Turismo de Ushuaia, Silvina Bello, afirmó que “realmente es un gran logro para la gestión que estos vuelos se hayan publicado con más de seis meses de anticipación, permitiendo impulsar a los visitantes para que elijan venir a la ciudad del Fin del Mundo”.
La ruta estará en funcionamiento del 06/07 al 20/08 con dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S) que operarán los días Jueves y Domingos. Desde São Paulo el vuelo despegará a la 01:10, arribando a Ushuaia a las 08:15. El retorno el vuelo saldrá de Ushuaia a las 21:00 horas, llegando al Aeropuerto São Paulo/Guarulhos a las 03:35. El vuelo tiene una duración de ocho horas con una escala técnica que permite cargar combustible en Buenos Aires y continuar el viaje, los pasajeros no se bajan del avión; y los controles de Aduana y Migraciones se realizan directamente en el destino de arribo.

Arajet de la República Dominicana ha anunciada la semana pasada el interés por una nueva ruta entre Santo Domingo/SDQ—Buenos Aires/EZE. La Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Argentina ha expresado «La empresa dominicana Arajet manifestó formalmente su intención de iniciar operaciones regulares entre Santo Domingo y Buenos Aires. Avelo Airlines anunció el Miércoles 15/03 que comenzará a volar sin escalas desde Raleigh-Durham/RDU a Memphis (Tennessee), Rochester (Nueva York), Manchester (New Hampshire), en Junio 2023. Avelo se convierte en la única aerolínea en RDU para servir a las tres ciudades. Los vuelos se realizarán a cada destino con dos frecuencias semanales. Memphis y Rochester comienzan el 14/06, y el primer vuelo a Manchester es una semana después.

Historia RCQ La Fuerza Aérea Argentina construyó el Aeropuerto en 1945 en el predio que alberga a la III Brigada Aérea, unidad a la que pertenecía el Primer Teniente Daniel Jukic. Durante la guerra de las Islas Malvinas se amplió la Pista 10/28, y se construyeron de concreto la plataforma y las calles de rodaje. La compañía aérea argentina Flybondi ha anunciado que desde Abril 2023 incorpora una segunda frecuencia en su ruta Buenos Aires/AEP—Corrientes/CNQ los días Martes, Jueves y Sábados.
A partir del 11 de Abril de 2023 establece un nuevo vuelo a la ciudad de Corrientes aumentando un 50% la frecuencia de sus operaciones entre la Provincia de Buenos Aires y Corrientes y viceversa. Las frecuencias de los vuelos domésticos los días Martes, Jueves y Sábados pasan de seis (6) a nueve (9) permitiendo a los pasajeros acceder a mejores horarios para conectas ambas provincias argentinas. Qatar Airways y Cubana Aviación reactivarán sus operaciones hacia Argentina. La alemana Lufthansa German Airlines incorpora frecuencia adicional. Tras la suspensión de operaciones en gran cantidad de líneas aéreas por la pandemia de Coronavirus, progresivamente las aerolíneas internacionales restablecen sus rutas pre-pandemia. En el caso de Qatar Airways, el anuncio oficial lo hizo la propia aerolínea informando que retomará sus vuelos desde el 8 de Diciembre de 2023. La empresa reanudará sus operaciones luego de largos tres años inactiva en el país y tras cierta relevancia que alcanzó esa nación del Medio Oriente debido a la celebración del torneo deportivo más importante a nivel global: la Copa Mundial de fútbol, en el que se consagró campeona la selección albiceleste. La aerolínea qatarí no solo regresará a la Argentina, sino que además reanudará operaciones y vuelos hacia otros diez destinos: Pekín, Birmingham, Casablanca, Davao, Marrakech, Niza, Osaka, Phnom Penh, Ras Al-Khaimah y Tokio Haneda. Dentro de su programación, contará con 655 vuelos semanales, además de aumentar el número de frecuencias en varios puntos durante el año 2023.
Mediante un comunicado oficial la empresa declaró que: “Qatar Airways había comenzado a operar la ruta entre Doha y Buenos Aires en Julio de 2010 con un vuelo diario vía São Paulo. Esta operación se mantuvo inalterable y con éxito hasta marzo de 2020, cuando debió interrumpirse por la pandemia de coronavirus. La ruta argentina fue uno de los once destinos que la empresa aérea había suspendido por la situación sanitaria”.
La estatal Cubana de Aviación también regresa a Argentina uniendo La Habana/HAB—Buenos Aires/EZE a partir de Mayo de 2023. La información fue dada a conocer por la Agencia Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC). La directiva de la agencia de la ANAC, Paola Tamburelli, desde su cuenta institucional en Twitter, publicó una imagen junto a los directivos de Cubana. “La empresa cubana retornará la conectividad aérea a América del Sur a través de la Argentina, primer país de la región en volver a recibir los vuelos regulares de la compañía”, posteó junto a la foto.
