Azul Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado que se encuentra lanzando un servicio de quinta libertad entre Fort Lauderdale (FLL) y Curazao (CUR) en aeronaves Airbus A320neo. La ruta será un complemento de Belo Horizonte a Curazao. Esto ofrece una opción de vacaciones única para que los turistas visiten Curazao y luego compren en Fort Lauderdale.
La ruta Belo Horizonte/CNF—Curazao/CUR—Fort Lauderdale/FLL se inaugurará el 9 de Diciembre de 2024 con cuatro frecuencias semanales (4Frq/S) los Lunes, Miércoles, Viernes y Sábados en aviones A320neo. La ruta permitirá beneficiarse del acuerdo de quinta libertad que enlazará Brasil con el Caribe holandés y la ciudad del Estado de Florida.

Azul inició la ruta entre Belo Horizonte y Curazao en Junio 2023, con solo una frecuencia semanal. Azul Linhas Aéreas has announced that it is launching a fifth freedom service between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Curacao (CUR) on Airbus A320neo aircraft. The route will be a complement to Belo Horizonte to Curacao. This offers a unique holiday option for tourists to visit Curacao and then shop in Fort Lauderdale.
The Belo Horizonte/CNF—Curacao/CUR—Fort Lauderdale/FLL route will be inaugurated on December 9, 2024 with four weekly frequencies (4Frq/S) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays on A320neo aircraft. The route will allow to benefit from the fifth freedom agreement that will link Brazil with the Dutch Caribbean and the city in the State of Florida.
The new flight will double the current connections between Belo Horizonte/Confins-Tancredo Neves International Airport (CNF), Brazil, and Curaçao International Airport (CUR), increasing from two to four flights per week. As a result, there will be flights to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
Azul started the route between Belo Horizonte and Curaçao in June 2023, with only one weekly frequency. By October 2023, this was increased to two flights per week and has seen a good level of demand. The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP), Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH) and the Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association (CHATA) have strongly supported the success of the route.

Delta Air Lines volará desde Detroit (Michigan) con el destino turístico mexicano de Tulum. La nueva ruta Detroit/DTW—Tulum/TQO se inaugurará a partir del 11 de Enero del 2025 de manera directa con una frecuencia semanal (1Frq/S). Delta Air Lines dio a conocer la frecuencia hacia Tulum en el marco del anuncio de sus nuevas opciones para volar a México este invierno septentrional, que también incorpora rutas desde Los Ángeles hacia Mazatlán. Las nuevas rutas de Delta a Tulum y Mazatlán operarán con aviones Boeing 737-800 y Airbus A319, ofreciendo opciones de First Class, Delta Comfort y Main Cabin.
La aerolínea informó que además del servicio existente desde Atlanta y Minneapolis, ofrecerá diez vuelos semanales desde Estados Unidos a Tulum, cuatro de ellos los días Sábados.
Por otra parte, Jorge Molina, Director General de Turismo y Economía de Tulum, indicó que, respecto a la conectividad con ciudades europeas a través de la aerolínea JetBlue Airways, a partir de este verano el Ayuntamiento de Tulum ha activado una campaña de promoción turística en Europa para atraer un mayor número de viajeros de dicho continente.
Actualmente, el destino Tulum posee conectividad con cuatro países europeos a través de la aerolínea JetBlue Airways, que ofrece vuelos trasatlánticos con escala en Estados Unidos para llegar a México al aeropuerto de este destino en la Riviera Maya. Las ciudades emisoras de turistas europeos son Dublín (Irlanda), Londres (Inglaterra), Edimburgo (Escocia), Amsterdam (Países Bajos) y París (Francia), a través del Aeropuerto Nueva York/JFK, Estados Unidos.

Flybondi anunció que volará de Ushuaia a El Calafate
Flybondi Líneas Aéreas y el Gobierno de la Provincia de Santa Cruz han acordado potenciar los puntos turísticos más importantes de la región Patagonia como parte de las estrategias de transporte aéreo y turístico. La aerolínea low cost comenzará a volar la ruta Ushuaia/USH—El Calafate/FTE el 2 de Agosto de 2024, tendrá una frecuencia de cuatro vuelos semanales (4Frq/S) los Lunes, Miércoles, Viernes y Domingo. Esta nueva ruta es la quinta interprovincial de la compañía y potenciará la conexión entre estos dos destinos turísticos muy elegidos para la temporada de invierno.
La conectividad entre las provincias de Tierra del Fuego y Santa Cruz comprenderá un enlace entre dos puntos turísticos que comprende una iniciativa federal sin volar desde Buenos Aires.

Flybondi Líneas Aéreas and the Government of the Province of Santa Cruz have agreed to promote the most important tourist spots in the Patagonia region as part of their air and tourism transport strategies. The low-cost airline will begin flying the Ushuaia/USH—El Calafate/FTE route on August 2, 2024, with a frequency of four weekly flights (4Frq/S) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This new route is the company’s fifth interprovincial route and will enhance the connection between these two tourist destinations that are highly chosen for the winter season.
The connectivity between the provinces of Tierra del Fuego and Santa Cruz will include a link between two tourist spots that includes a federal initiative without flying from Buenos Aires.
The Secretary of State for Tourism, Mario Markic, explained that “this new route is a milestone that will not only facilitate access between two emblematic destinations in Patagonia, but will also boost the local economy by encouraging the flow of visitors and the creation of new jobs in the tourism sector. We are committed to continuing to develop infrastructure that promotes the sustainable growth of our tourism industry, for the benefit of our community and all those who choose to enjoy the beauty of Santa Cruz”.
Mauricio Sana, Executive Director of Flybondi said: «With this route we seek to enhance connectivity in the south of the country. Ushuaia and El Calafate are two destinations that combine very well, which is why we launched this new connection for the winter season. We are very happy to be able to give our passengers more connectivity options without going through Buenos Aires».
In addition, Flybondi offers connections in both destinations from and to Buenos Aires with a daily flight to Ushuaia and four weekly flights to El Calafate.

Avelo Airlines lanzará su nuevo servicio sin escalas en 3Q2024 conectando el Condado de Sonoma (California) con Salt Lake City-Bay Area (Utah). La nueva ruta Sonoma/Charles M. Avelo Airlines will launch its new non-stop service in 3Q2024 connecting Sonoma County (California) with Salt Lake City-Bay Area (Utah). The new Sonoma/Charles M. Schulz/STS—Salt Lake City/SLC route will operate twice weekly (2Frq/S) beginning October 24, 2024. The flights will be operated by Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft.
The service will connect Sonoma County’s Charles M. Schulz Airport (STS) in the Bay Area with Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Currently, Avelo Airlines is the only airline offering direct flights between both destinations.
“We look forward to inspiring travel this fall to Sonoma County and inspiring Northern Californians to explore all that the Beehive State has to offer”, said Andrew Levy, founder, and CEO of Avelo Airlines, in a press release.

Copa Airlines incrementa diez frecuencias semanales
Copa Airlines ha anunciado el incremento de frecuencias entre Panamá y Rosario como parte de la expansión de vuelos en temporada estival 2024-2025. La aerolínea panameña pasará a tener desde Enero 2025 diez frecuencias semanales. La aerolínea confirmó la noticia que suma vuelos a la ciudad de Rosario agregando tres frecuencias adicionales, pasando de siete a diez por semana.
La compañía panameña incrementará los vuelos Panamá/PTY—Rosario/ROS desde el 5 hasta el 30 de Enero de 2025, con tres frecuencias por semana lo que significará que habrá dos vuelos diarios en promedio, siendo la mayor frecuencia desde su desembarco en el Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario/Islas Malvinas.
Según lo informado por la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Argentina, Copa Airlines ha desarrollado un tráfico de 51.643 pasajeros en Rosario durante el primer semestre del año 2024, con una ocupación del 91% empleando al Hub de Las Américas como principal punto de conexión con otros destinos. La aerolínea finalizó el año 2023 como la tercera más importante en el segmento internacional producto de haber movilizado 727.694 viajeros en el desarrollo de las operaciones desde y hacia Argentina.
El 1 de Julio de 2024 se cumplió el octavo aniversario del vuelo inaugural de Copa Airlines a Rosario. El primer servicio fue realizado en este Boeing 737-800, con stickers de Rosario Central y Newell’s. La aerolínea opera actualmente una frecuencia diaria (1Frq/D) desde Ciudad de Panamá.
Aeropuerto Rosario La Gobernación de la Provincia de Santa Fe, a cargo de Maximiliano Pullaro, recorrió el Viernes 26/07 la zona del aeropuerto donde se están realizando las obras correspondientes para lograr sumar vuelos internacionales que conecten con el mundo y logre recibir más turistas. En ese marco, el funcionario provincial remarcó que el objetivo es darle escala a Rosario. Mientras las obras avanzan, el Aeropuerto debe estar condicionado con la mejor tecnología y logística para atraer más aerolíneas.
La construcción de la nueva terminal se encuentra avanzada más del 70%. Los trabajos contemplan nuevas cintas de equipajes, escaleras mecánicas, ascensores, ampliación de área de embarque y nuevas oficinas; así como también puentes fijos, edificio pivot y dos mangas. La finalización de las obras se estima que llegue a su fin en Marzo de 2025.

Copa Airlines has announced the increase in frequencies between Panama and Rosario as part of the expansion of flights in the 2024-2025 summer season. The Panamanian airline will have ten weekly frequencies from January 2025. The airline confirmed the news that it is adding flights to the city of Rosario by adding three additional frequencies, going from seven to ten per week.
The Panamanian company will increase the Panama/PTY—Rosario/ROS flights from January 5 to 30, 2025, with three frequencies per week, which will mean that there will be two daily flights on average, being the highest frequency since its landing at the Rosario/Islas Malvinas International Airport.

Aerolíneas Argentinas anunció el Sábado 27/07 dos nuevas rutas internacionales que comenzará a operar durante el verano 2025. Se trata de las rutas Tucumán/TUC—Punta Cana/PUJ y Rosario/ROS—Punta Cana/PUJ, incorporándose a los vuelos que actualmente posee la compañía desde Córdoba (COR) y Buenos Aires (EZE). Ambas rutas desarrollarán una frecuencia semanal (1Frq/S). Los vuelos entre Tucumán y Punta Cana fueron confirmados por Aerolíneas Argentinas, mientras que aún resta que la compañía anuncie la fecha de inauguración de la nueva ruta que se inaugurará en Enero 2025 y desde cuándo se podrán adquirir los pasajes.
La nueva ruta aérea que conectará la Provincia de Tucumán con el destino Caribe operará de manera directa y será la primera de estos vuelos internacionales que tendrá el Aeropuerto Benjamín Matienzo de la Ciudad de Tucumán tras la post-pandemia.

The flights between Tucumán and Punta Cana were confirmed by Aerolíneas Argentinas, while the company has yet to announce the opening date of the new route that will be inaugurated in January 2025 and from when tickets can be purchased.
