La aerolínea low cost JetSMART Airlines Perú ha solicitado ante el organismo de Aerocivil Colombia los permisos pertinentes para volar rutas entre Perú y Colombia. Ante el convulsionado mercado que se encuentra atravesando la aviación comercial colombiana el JetSMART Group continúa estando atento al desarrollo de los acontecimientos por el futuro de Viva Air Colombia y su incierto desenlace, solicitándose acogerse a la Administración para establecer tiempo para encontrar un comprador. En medio de esta situación, JetSMART Airlines Group solicitó previamente abrir una nueva subsidiaria en Colombia después de solicitar un permiso para operar un total de 111 rutas. Sin embargo, la Aerocivil ha retrasado la aprobación de la creación de JetSMART Airlines Colombia debido las capacidades reales de la nueva aerolínea de poder asumir el compromiso.
Mientras tanto, JetSMART continúa apostando al mercado colombiano para solicitar formalmente pista para que la filial JetSMART Perú pueda realizar servicios internacionales de pasajeros, carga y correo a Colombia, permitiendo utilizar la quinta libertad. GOL suspenderá provisoriamente ruta Salvador–Buenos Aires
GOL Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado la suspensión de los vuelos en la ruta Salvador/SSA—Buenos Aires/EZE. Tras un breve lapso la compañía brasileña ajustará su cronograma de vuelo en la ruta cuando finalice la temporada de verano y luego del fin de semana largo de Semana Santa. La última frecuencia será el 08/04 y retomará el 1 de Julio de 2023 manteniendo el mismo cronograma que posee actualmente, con una frecuencia semanal (1Frq/S). La ruta continuará operada con aeronaves Boeing 737-8 MAX.
La aerolínea no ha informado acerca de los motivos de la interrupción transitoria de la ruta entre Brasil y Argentina, mientras que la aerolínea ha estado ajustando su programación regional en Sudamérica en estos últimos meses.

A rota continuará operada com a Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft.
A companhia aérea não informou sobre as razões para a interrupção transitória da rota entre o Brasil e a Argentina, enquanto a companhia aérea está ajustando seu programa regional na América do Sul nos últimos meses.

WestJet Airlines ha anunciado que estrenará nuevos destinos en Estados Unidos, como así también mejorará la conectividad doméstica en Canadá al horario de verano a medida que la nueva estrategia de crecimiento de la aerolínea toma vuelo. WestJet presentó el Lunes, 13 de Febrero de 2023, veinte nuevas rutas y tres nuevos destinos para el horario de verano de la aerolínea. Avelo Airlines anuncia Orlando con Raleigh y Wilmington
Avelo Airlines ha anunciado que ha expandido servicios desde el Aeropuerto Orlando en Florida (FL) agregado dos nuevos destinos a su creciente lista de ciudades.
