Reinagura servicios diarios hacia Ontario, California

El 7 de Marzo de 2023 China Airlines restablecerá completamente el servicio diario de ida y vuelta entre el Aeropuerto Internacional de Ontario (ONT) del sur de California y Taipei/TPE a partir del 26 de Marzo de 2023, anunciaron funcionarios del Aeropuerto de Ontario.

El regreso del servicio diario que conecta Ontario/ONT y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Taoyuan/TPE marca un hito importante en la recuperación del servicio aéreo internacional de Ontario, todo lo cual se suspendió al inicio de la pandemia de COVID-19 hace casi tres años.

«Hemos esperado ansiosamente la reanudación del servicio diario entre Ontario y Taiwán. Este emocionante desarrollo es un testimonio de la demanda de viajes internacionales de larga distancia desde Inland Empire y el servicio excepcional proporcionado por nuestra puerta de enlace global», dijo Atif Elkadi, Director Ejecutivo de la Autoridad del Aeropuerto Internacional de Ontario (OIAA).

Después de suspender el servicio en Marzo de 2020, China Airlines reanudó los vuelos ONT—TPE en Junio de 2021, aumentando gradualmente los niveles de servicio a medida que volvía la demanda. La reanudación del servicio diario se produce al mismo tiempo que China Airlines celebra su quinto aniversario en la ONT.

La primera aerolínea en ofrecer un servicio transoceánico de pasajeros sin escalas a ONT después de su transición a la propiedad local, China Airlines actualizará el avión que opera la ruta de un Airbus A350-900 a un Boeing 777-300ER más grande, aumentando la capacidad de asientos de 306 a 358 en las clases premium business, premium economy y economy. El servicio también está programado para proporcionar a los clientes conexiones sin interrupciones a destinos adicionales en toda Asia.

Taipei/TPE es la principal puerta de entrada internacional a los más de 9 millones de residentes del norte de Taiwán, mientras que ONT es el aeropuerto internacional más cercano y conveniente para más de 10 millones de residentes del sur de California en los condados de San Bernardino, Riverside, el norte de Orange y el este de Los Ángeles.

Restart daily services towards Ontario, California

On March 7, 2023 China Airlines will completely restore the daily life trip service between the Ontario International Airport (ONT) of Southern California and Taipei/TPE as of March 26, 2023, Ontario Airport officials announced.

The return of the daily service that connects Ontario/ONT and the Taoyuan/TPE International Airport marks an important milestone in the recovery of the Ontario International Air Service, all of which was suspended at the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemia almost three years ago.

«We have longed for the resumption of the daily service between Ontario and Taiwan. This exciting development is a testimony of the demand for long distance international trips from Inland Empire and the exceptional service provided by our global gateway», said Atif Elkadi, Director Executive of the Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA).

After suspending the service in March 2020, China Airlines resumed the ONT—TPE flights in June 2021, gradually increasing service levels as the demand returned. The resumption of the daily service occurs at the same time that China Airlines celebrates its fifth anniversary in the ONT.

The first airline to offer a transoceanic passenger service without scales to ONT after its transition to local property, China Airlines will update the plane that operates the route of an Airbus A350-900 to a larger Boeing 777-300ER, increasing the capacity of seats from 306 to 358 in the Premium Business, Premium Economy and Economy classes. The service is also scheduled to provide customers connections without interruptions to additional destinations throughout Asia.

Taipei/TPE is the main international entrance door to the more than 9 million residents in northern Taiwan, while Ont is the nearest and most convenient international airport for more than 10 million residents in southern California in the counties of San Bernardino, Riverside, Northern Orange and Eastern Los Angeles.

National air trips through ONT exceeded the levels before the pandemic in 2022, a milestone achieved by few other airports in California.
