Nuevo destino a Ft. Myers/Florida el 19/12

Los viajeros en el Valle de Chippewa ahora pueden comenzar a reservar sus vuelos en Sun Country Airlines con servicio desde el Aeropuerto Regional del Valle de Chippewa/EAU. El anuncio del Jueves 11/08 por el Aeropuerto Regional del Valle de Chippewa dijo que los vuelos desde el Valle de Chippewa a Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP comenzaría el 1 de Diciembre de 2022.

El segundo nuevo destino a Ft. Myers, Florida será a partir del 19 de Diciembre de 2022. El destino rotará estacionalmente entre Ft. Myers, Orlando y Las Vegas, dijo el Aeropuerto Regional del Valle de Chippewa. Los viajes a Ft. Myers reservarán vuelos directos desde ahora hasta Abril de 2023, luego cambiarán a Orlando para la primavera y el verano antes de rotar a Las Vegas en el otoño. «Sun Country es bien conocido por los viajeros de Wisconsin. Travelers in the Chippewa Valley can now start booking their flights on Sun Country Airlines with service from the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport/UAE. The Thursday 8/11 announcement by the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport said that flights from the Chippewa Valley to Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP would start on December 1, 2022.

The second new destination to Ft. Myers, Florida will be effective December 19, 2022. The destination will rotate seasonally between Ft. Myers, Orlando and Las Vegas, Chippewa Valley Regional Airport said. Voyages to Ft. Myers will book direct flights now through April 2023, then switch to Orlando for the spring and summer before rotating to Las Vegas in the fall. «Sun Country is well known to Wisconsin travelers. We already provide scheduled service to Green Bay, Milwaukee and Madison, and we are excited to now connect the Chippewa Valley with the 78 destinations we serve», said Joe Beckendorf, Director of Sun Country Network Planning and Airline Scheduling.

«We are pleased that Sun Country is expanding its offerings from its original proposal to a total of four round trips per week to Minneapolis-St. Paul with scheduled flights to maximize connecting opportunities», said Charity Zich, Regional Airport Director. of the Chippewa Valley.

To book flights, travelers can make reservations on the Sun Country Airlines website or by calling 651-905-2737. All flights will be on 186-seat Boeing 737-900 aircraft.

In July 2022, the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) selected Sun Country Airlines to serve the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport, which at the time promised at least two flights per week to Minneapolis-St. Paul. Three airlines submitted bids to serve the airport during the selection process, and Sun Country Airlines’ bid was the one the Airport Commission recommended in May. British Airways ha anunciado la incorporación de nuevos destinos como Aruba (Antillas Neerlandesas) y Georgetown (Guyana) a su malla en América. Los vuelos iniciarán el próximo verano boreal. Se encuentran disponibles la venta de tickets aéreos. En América del Sur, Georgetown es otro destino que servirá iniciando los servicios a partir de Marzo 2023, con dos frecuencias semanales los Lunes y Jueves.

British Airways empleará aeronaves Boeing 777-200ER para cubrir los vuelos transatlánticos de ambos destinos. Breeze primera aerolínea servicio comercial a San Bernardino

Northern Pacific solicita autorización a México

Northern Pacific Airways ha solicitado permisos para volar a México hacia 4Q2022. La compañía continúa en el proceso para obtener las certificaciones aeronáuticas para el nuevo destino. La aerolínea con base en el Aeropuerto Internacional Anchorage/Ted Stevens/ANC solicitó las autorizaciones respectivas para operar vuelos regulares de carga y pasajeros bajo los acuerdos de los términos previstos sobre Acuerdo sobre Transporte Aéreo (ATA) firmado entre Estados Unidos y México. La aerolínea ha solicitado al Departamento de Transporte de los Estados Unidos (DOT) las autorizaciones respectivas para volar desde Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) y San Antonio (SAT) a la Ciudad de México (AICM), Toluca (TLC) y/o Acapulco (ACA), con extensión a la Ciudad de Panamá (PTY); desde Nueva York (JFK), Washington (IAD), Baltimore (BWI), Los Ángeles (LAX) y Houston (IAH) a Ciudad de México (AICM) y Toluca (TLC), con extensión a cualquier destino de Centroamérica y Sudamérica; o desde cualquier punto de los Estados Unidos, a través de un punto intermedio, a un destino en México con extensión a cualquier otro destino.

El Director Ejecutivo de Northern Pacific Airways, Rob McKinney, ha expresado que la decisión de volar a México tiene como objetivo ayudar a la aerolínea a acelerar algunos procesos de certificación que están pendientes, como la Extended-range Twin-engine Operations Performance Standards (ETOPS) para la flota. Sin embargo, para obtener esta certificación, la Administración Federal de Aviación (FAA) requiere que las aerolíneas se encuentren volando comercialmente alas rutas solicitadas.

Northern Pacific Airways has applied for permits to fly to Mexico by 4Q2022. The company continues in the process to obtain aeronautical certifications for the new destination. The airline based at the Anchorage/Ted Stevens/ANC International Airport requested the respective authorizations to operate regular cargo and passenger flights under the terms of the Air Transport Agreement (ATA) signed between the United States and Mexico. The airline has requested the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) the respective authorizations to fly from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and San Antonio (SAT) to Mexico City (AICM), Toluca (TLC) and/or Acapulco (ACA), with extension to Panama City (PTY); from New York (JFK), Washington (IAD), Baltimore (BWI), Los Angeles (LAX) and Houston (IAH) to Mexico City (AICM) and Toluca (TLC), with extension to any destination in Central and South America; or from any point in the United States, through an intermediate point, to a destination in Mexico with extension to any other destination.

The Executive Director of Northern Pacific Airways, Rob McKinney, has expressed that the decision to fly to Mexico is intended to help the airline accelerate some certification processes that are pending, such as the Extended-range Twin-engine Operations Performance Standards (ETOPS ) for the fleet. However, to obtain this certification, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires airlines to be flying commercially on the requested routes.

The airline’s fleet consists of four Boeing 757-200 aircraft (4). Currently, the airline has a Letter of Intent (LoI) with United Airlines for eight additional units of the same model, under the Wet-lease contract from November 2022.

Flybondi Líneas Aéreas ha inaugurado el Lunes 01/08 la ruta Buenos Aires/EZE—El Calafate/FTE. Flybondi Líneas Aéreas ha iniciado el vuelo inaugural desde el Aeropuerto Buenos Aires/Jorge Newbery/AEP a las 11:45 horas y aterrizó en el Aeropuerto Internacional Comodoro Rivadavia/General Enrique Mosconi/CRD a las 14:20 horas, transportando un factor de ocupación del 85%. Los vuelos hacia y desde Comodoro tendrán tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) los días Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes con una tarifa desde AR$ 5644 por tramo (impuestos incluidos).

El Chief Commercial Officer de Flybondi, Federico Pastori, fue recibido por las autoridades locales Germán Issa Pfister, Secretario de Economía de la Municipalidad de Comodoro Rivadavia y Presidente del Ente Comodoro Turismo, Eduardo Carrasco Subsecretario de Gestión Patrimonial y Turismo, Pablo Francavilla Subsecretario de Modernización y Transparencia y Gabriela Zuñeda Gerente del Ente de Comodoro Turismo.

“Hoy es un día muy importante para todas las personas que trabajamos en Flybondi: inauguramos nuestra tercera ruta a Chubut y se transforma en la provincia con mayor cobertura de nuestros vuelos. Esto fue posible gracias al trabajo en conjunto que realizamos con las autoridades en la búsqueda de que cada día más argentinos puedan volar con las mejores tarifas. En cada nuevo destino al que comenzamos a volar, generamos impacto positivo, puestos de trabajo, empleo indirecto y contribuimos de forma real a las economías regionales; sin dudas este es uno de los grandes aportes que hace Flybondi a la cadena productiva del país”, afirmó Mauricio Sana, CEO de Flybondi.

La aerolínea low cost de Argentina contará con tres vuelos semanales Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes siendo Comodoro Rivadavia la tercera ruta de la provincia junto a Trelew, y Puerto Madryn. De la misma manera, este lunes, la compañía lanzó los vuelos a Calafate, sumándose a Bariloche, Neuquén, Ushuaia, Trelew y Puerto Madryn a fin de afianzar su presencia en el sur Patagónico.

El Secretario de Economía, Germán Issa Pfister expresó: «Seguimos sumando conectividad para la ciudad, para poder trabajar en el desarrollo del turismo y el turismo evento, necesitamos de conectividad sobre todo con las distancias que tenemos con Buenos Aires. Más allá de que defendemos la línea de bandera, entendemos que la competencia es buena y sana. Nos pone felices y celebramos la llegada de esta compañía, porque tiene que ver con que la gente que no puede abonar un pasaje, tenga el acceso a otro tipo de tarifas más económicas. Vemos con éxito esta nueva acción, ya que hablamos de la posibilidad de agregar más frecuencias. El destino es un éxito porque sabemos lo que viaja la gente y lo que demanda la ciudad en el área aeronáutica. Todos sabemos lo que significa para el comodorense viajar a Buenos Aires, los estudiantes, aquellos que necesitan del servicio de salud, las entidades gremiales, empresariales, otras que van por cuestiones laborales y para la gente que quiere venir estamos a disposición de generar nuevas rutas, conectar Comodoro con otras ciudades, para regionalizar y nacionalizar los destinos, no solo con Buenos Aires. Hoy contamos con tres aerolíneas volando a Buenos Aires, algunas más regionales como LADE, que suman frecuencias y destinos que no teníamos como la Cordillera, Río Gallegos, Calafate, Ushuaia, donde la plaza responde muy bien porque hablamos de vuelos llenos y hace hincapié al movimiento que existe en Comodoro, el empuje que tiene, el cual es fundamental como destino turístico. Una de las cosas que nos faltaba para seguir proyectando hacia adelante desde una perspectiva turística”.

El Gerente Comercial de Flybondi, Federico Pastori manifestó su felicidad por este vuelo inaugural. “Es el tercer destino que sumamos en la provincia de Chubut, en este plan de desarrollo que tiene una expansión muy grande. Esperamos cerrar el año con diez aviones, donde Comodoro era uno de los hitos que teníamos que agregar este 2022 sí o sí y estamos muy contentos por cumplirlo. Sabemos que comercialmente hay una demanda muy ardua, que genera mucho movimiento, veníamos hablando con las autoridades municipales que necesitaban más conectividad y está bueno contribuir con esto. Buscan ampliar rutas domésticas en la Región Cuyo

El Gobierno de la Provincia de San Juan, Argentina, busca ampliar las conexiones aéreas con el resto del país. La Ministra de Turismo de la Provincia, Claudia Grynzspan, destacó que se viene dialogando con Flybondi Líneas Aéreas y JetSmart Airlines Argentina para sumar vuelos pero el problema actual de combustible dificulta su concreción.

Sumar más vuelos en las rutas aéreas que incluyen a San Juan es uno de los objetivos que movilizó a las autoridades del Ministerio de Turismo de San Juan en el primer semestre del 2022. «No vamos a poder tener resultados el próximo mes porque el combustible hace que la expansión de estas compañías se vean dilatadas. Sin dudas San Juan está en condiciones de traer más vuelos y lo hemos logrado», señaló la ministra Claudia Grynszpan.

La funcionaria contó que los vuelos que vienen a la provincia como así también aquellos que tienen su ruta a Buenos Aires, tienen una ocupación casi completa, de más del 90%. Eso genera un gran interés en el sector y ven con buenos ojos a San Juan. «Las low cost miran a San Juan con interés y ellos saben que tenemos temporadas completas», expresó la Ministra de Turismo, señalando que hace quince días se había estado hablando de la posibilidad de ampliar el servicio.
