La consultora Brand Finance, que ha otorgado una AAA a la compañía rusa

La rusa Aeroflot es la aerolínea con la marca más poderosa del mundo. Así lo ha determinado la consultora británica Brand Finance, que se dedica a analizar valores de marcas y cada año publica una lista con las aerolíneas con las imágenes de marca más fuerte.

La compañía otorgó a la línea aérea rusa una calificación de AAA, que la coloca en la primera posición de la lista. «Para el presidente Donald Trump debe de ser algo difícil conciliar su deseo de ‘hacer Estados Unidos grande de nuevo’ con el éxito de Aeroflot», ironizó la consultora en su reporte.

Factores del éxito

Aeroflot ha alcanzado este éxito debido a factores como su dominio sobre el mercado doméstico ruso, la gran inversión que ha llevado a cabo en el mercado asiático, la juventud de su tripulación y su patrocinio al equipo de fútbol Manchester United.

En total, la consultora ha utilizado en su análisis 30 factores, destacando entre ellos las medidas de seguridad, el tamaño de la flota, la edad promedio de los empleados, el número de personal, inversiones, resultados financieros y operativos o la fidelidad de los clientes.

Además de esto, Brand Finance también ha tomado en consideración los ‘ratings’ otorgados por Skytrax (una consultora británica que analiza y compara la calidad de aerolíneas y aeropuertos de todo el mundo) y la Asociación de Transporte Aéreo Internacional (IATA, por sus siglas en inglés).

Aparte de Aeroflot, en la lista de las 10 aerolíneas más poderosas, figuran las siguientes compañías aéreas: Aeroméxico, American Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta, Emirates, Jetblue Airways, Southwest, Turkish Airlines y Westjet Airlines.

La aerolínea española triunfa en la octava edición de los premios de FlightStats a las aerolíneas más puntuales

FlightStats, Inc., la empresa de información de vuelos líder en el mundo, ha hecho públicos los premios en los que se reconoce el indudable mérito de la puntualidad (Annual Airline On-Time Performance Service Awards). Los premios -que llegan a su octava edición- reconocen a las «mejores de las mejores» (the Best of the Best) aerolíneas que demuestran un alto rendimiento y cumplen su promesa de llevar a los pasajeros a sus destinos en la hora anunciada.

Este año, FlightStats ha ampliado sus premios para reconocer la mejor aerolínea mundial y la mejor red de aerolíneas en cada una de las regiones (denominan así a los vuelos que son comercializados por una aerolínea principal pero operados por una marca separada). La mayoría de las grandes aerolíneas tienen este tipo de asociaciones regionales.

En 2016 Iberia no solo ha sido la aerolínea internacional más puntual del mundo (Major Global Airline), también la aerolínea más puntual de Europa (European Major Airline) y la más puntual de Europa también como aerolínea de red contabilizando sus datos junto a los de su franquiciada Iberia Regional Air Nostrum (European Major Airline Network).

La compañía china tiene su base principal en Hong Kong

Por segundo año consecutivo, Cathay Pacific Airways ha sido nombrada la compañía aérea más segura de 2016 según el estudio realizado sobre 60 aerolíneas por el Centro de Evaluación de Datos de Accidentes de Aviones (Jacdec), que tiene su sede principal en Hamburgo.

Dentro de esta clasificación destaca que dos de las tres aerolíneas más fiables son chinas, puesto que tras Cathay y Air New Zealand, se sitúa Hainan Airlines China. Solamente se ha publicado un primer avance y tras éste podio de honor se sitúan: 4° Qatar Airways , 5° KLM, 6° EVA Air, 7° Emirates, 8° Etihad Airways, 9° QANTAS, 10° Japan Airlines, 11° All Nipon Airways y 12° Lufthansa.

También se ha dado a conocer la menos segura, que es la indonesia Garuda, por delante de Avianca (Colombia) y China Airlines (Taiwán). El ránking completo se hará público en las próximas semanas.
