El Ministerio de Transporte prorrogó por 15 años la autorización a la empresa aérea, según la resolución 439/2017, publicada hoy en el Boletín Oficial

El Ministerio de Transporte prorrogó por 15 años la autorización a laempresa aérea Austral para operar la ruta entre Buenos Aires, Trelew, El Calafate y Ushuaia, a partir del 14 de mayo, según la resolución publicada hoy en el Boletín Oficial.

La medida a favor de la empresa del Grupo Aerolíneas Argentinas, fue dispuesta por el ministro de Transporte, Guillermo Dietrich, regirá desde el 14 de mayo y comprende los servicios regulares internos de transporte aéreo de pasajeros, correo y carga.

La ruta le había sido concedida por 15 años a Austral Líneas Aéreas, Cielos del Sur Sociedad Anónima por la resolución 439 del 13 de mayo de 2002 por la ex Secretaría de Turismo, entonces dependiente de la Presidencia de la Nación.

En los considerandos de la resolución difundida hoy, la cartera de Transporte destaca que Austral presentó «en tiempo y forma» la solicitud para obtener una ampliación de la autorización y que, de acuerdo con lo dispuesto por el Artículo 103 del Código Aeronáutico, las concesiones pueden ser prorrogadas por lapsos no mayores a 15 años si subsistiesen las razones de interés público que motivaron su otorgamiento.

También apunta lo resuelto que las dependencias con competencia técnica se han expedido favorablemente en relación con la prórroga requerida, por lo que se entiende que subsisten las razones de interés público que motivaron la concesión.
