Iran Air recibe sus primeros cuatro aviones regionales

La aerolínea iraní Iran Air ha recibido los primeros cuatro aviones ATR 72-600 del consorcio franco-italiano Avións Transport Règional, de un pedido total en firme por veinte aeronaves de este modelo. El cronograma de entrega del resto de los aviones estraría programado hasta finales del 2018.
Con la incorporación de estas aeronaves regionales y el anuncio de nuevos aviones de
medio porte, la línea aérea Iran Air está inmerza en un plan de renovación y modernización de su flota, tras el levantamiento de las sanciones internacionales.
La incorporación de los ATR-72-600 de última generación hacen posible la flexibilización en un país donde la infraestructura aeroportuaria es un tanto deficiente con pequeñas pistas de aterrizaje sin pavimentar y la geografía montañosa permite realizar operaciones eficientes con este tipo de avión regional.
Los ATR 72-600 son aeronaves regionales configurados para transportar entre 68 a 78 pasajeros en clase única y equipados con motores Pratt & Whitney 127M. Su autonomía con carga completa de pasajeros es de 900 millas náuticas (1.665 kilómetros).

El Director Ejecutivo de ATR Christian Scherer, consideró: «Estamos orgullosos y satisfechos de que nuestros aviones ATR proporcionen una solución a las necesidades de Irán en la conectividad regional. La mayor oferta de transporte aéreo, se beneficiará de los más altos estándares de confort, eficiencia y fiabilidad con los aviones ATR que se estarán entregando durante los próximos meses”.

Iran Air receives its first four regional aircraft ATR 72-600
Iran Airline Iran Air has received the first four ATR 72-600 aircraft from the French-Italian consortium Avións Transport Règional, of a firm total order for twenty aircraft of this model. The schedule of delivery of the rest of the aircraft would be scheduled until the end of 2018.
With the addition of these regional aircraft and the announcement of new medium-sized aircraft, the Iran Air airline is undergoing a plan to renew and modernize its fleet, following the lifting of international sanctions.
