Avianca estaría realizando las gestiones para volar a la costa atlántica argentina hacia finales del 2017

Los dos municipios de la costa atlántica están realizando las gestiones pertinentes ante la ANAC para comenzar a volar antes de la próxima temporada de verano. El Aeródromo de Santa Teresita está confiado en poder alcanzar la aprobación para vuelos regulares de línea. La empresa Avianca (Avian Líneas Aéreas SA) estaría enlos planes para realizar la ruta. De la misma manera desde Villa Gesell también se suma para la prestación de los servicios aéreos de la compañía Avianca.

Santa Teresita es una localidad del Partido de la Costa de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, y que a comienzado una obra de remodelación de la ruta 11, permitiendo revitalizar la región turística.

La ruta aérea a realizar es Buenos Aires-Santa Teresita la cual la ANAC autorizó a la empresa Avianca, como así la posibilidad de sumarse Alas del Sur Líneas Aéreas.
