Air France-KLM está inmerso en algunos cambios sustanciales para redefinir estrategias con las subsidiarias del grupo franco-holandés
Quince años atrás el grupo Air France-KLM tiene la aerolínea Transavia Airlines, una subsidiaria del grupo, originalmente parte de la rama holandesa de la KLM. Sin embargo, después de la fusión del grupo, Frank Terner, el director general de Air France acaba de declarar que “necesitamos clarificar las marcas Air France y Hop, definir a qué públicos nos dirigimos, y vemos que el público al que se dirige Air France es el mismo al que llama también Transavia”. Un mismo grupo, una misma gestión, pero quince años después descubren que sus estrategias se solapan.
La línea aérea Transavia había abierto una base en Múnich con el objetivo de extender su radio de acción más allá de Holanda, pero la nueva dirección general del grupo al que pertenece ha decidido que cierre y vuelva a sus orígenes. La dirección de la compañía quiere redefinir estrategias y ha puesto en marcha un programa que se llama “Trust Together”, que significa “Confianza juntos”, para ordenar su futuro. En la actualidad, Air France le costaría imaginar a una Transavia que pueda alimentar sus vuelos transoceánicos vendiendo un único billete con conexión en París, algo que sí parece que hará Vueling con Level.
