La aerolínea Flybondi Líneas Aéreas ha anunciado la programación de algunos vuelos internacionales como parte de las estimaciones de restablecimiento de las operaciones regionales en Sudamérica. Tras el advenimiento de la pandemia en Marzo 2020, la compañía de presupuesto argentina realizaba sus últimos vuelos internacionales desde el Aeropuerto Internacional El Palomar/Buenos Aires con vuelos regulares a Asunción, Porto Alegre, Río de Janeiro y San Paulo, mientras que hacia Florianópolis y Punta del Este comprendía vuelos estacionales. Las restricciones impuestas por el país obligaron a las aerolíneas a cancelar masivamente los vuelos al exterior, mientras que los vuelos domésticos se reducían a una mínima expresión.

Flybondi ha estado planificando restablecer las operaciones regionales a Asunción, Río de Janeiro y Sao Paulo, como parte del reinicio de las rutas post-pandemia hacia Septiembre 2021. Frontier Airlines ha inaugurado un nuevo destino y servicio a Jamaica. La compañía aérea Avianca Airlines ha anunciado la reanudación de los vuelos entre Colombia y Brasil a partir del 2 de Julio de 2021. Avianca anunció que tras la autorización del Gobierno colombiano, reanudará sus operaciones en las rutas Bogotá-São Paulo y Bogotá-Río de Janeiro a partir del 02/07. Según la compañía, los pasajeros que poseen billetes emitidos de Avianca pueden volver a reservar sus vuelos.

Los vuelos serán operados en aviones Airbus A320NEO, con capacidad para 150 pasajeros, y los viajeros de Brasil podrán acceder al centro de conexión en Bogotá a más de veinticuatro destinos en Colombia y más de veinte destinos internacionales.

Los vuelos internacionales continúan restableciéndose luego de la firma de una tregua entre Israel y el grupo fundamentalista de Hamas en Palestina. Este Viernes 21/05 se han iniciado los preparativos para reanudar los servicios aéreos de las compañías hacia Tel Aviv horas después de que Israel y Hamas alcanzaran una tregua después de la peor violencia en años.

La aerolínea israelí El Al Israel Airlines continuaba desarrollando operaciones en régimen de restricciones en el conflicto armado, mientras que muchas aerolíneas internacionales habían suspendido vuelos hacia y desde el principal aeropuerto israelí Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion y otros fueron desviados al Aeropuerto Eilat/Ramon cerca de Eilat, en el sur del país. Avelo Airlines inaugura el vuelo Burbank-Redding este 20 de Mayo de 2021. El primer vuelo de la nueva aerolínea californiana Avelo Airlines desde Hollyhood Burbank ha enlazado su décima primera ruta hacia Redding, California. Avelo Airlines iniciaba su startup hacia finales del mes pasado y ahora servirá a Redding en el norte del Estado de California (CA). La nueva aerolínea de presupuesto incursiona varias rutas sin escalas a lo largo de la costa oeste de Estados Unidos permitiendo aumentar los servicios y estimular los viajes de bajo precio (low fare).

El primer vuelo inaugural XP123 en un Boeing 737-800 despegaba del Aeropuerto Internacional Hollyhood-Burbank despegaba a las 12:40 hs. y aterrizaba en el Aeropuerto Redding poco antes de las 14:00 hs. La Alcaldesa de Redding, Erin Resner, junto con el Gerente del aeropuerto y Director Ejecutivo de Avelo, cortan la cinta de inauguración del nuvo vuelo y la nueva compañía aérea, tras un discurso emotivo. La línea aérea ha establecido su décimo primer destino en la costa Oeste de los Estados Unidos, incrementando su red de servicios de presupuesto a aeropuerto alternativos a precios bajos.

La gente a bordo del vuelo no tenía idea de que el vuelo del Jueves 20/05 era el primer viaje de Los Ángeles a Redding. «Mi mejor amiga vive aquí arriba, así que trato de hacer viajes tantas veces como pueda», dijo Maritza Cox, a bordo del vuelos para trasladarse hacia arriba en el Estado de California. «Significa que el resto del mundo puede conectarse a Redding y que tenemos una economía aquí arriba que está en auge y la gente está lista para viajar», dijo Churck Aukland, Director de Obras Públicas.

Los ejecutivos de Avelo Airline dijeron que mercados desatendidos como Redding son los primeros en su objetivo de conectar más comunidades. Aerolíneas refuerza vuelos domésticos en el país

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha comunicado que se encuentra programando la ampliación de los servicios domésticos. En medio de la crisis sanitaria en Argentina, la compañía proyectará hacia la temporada invernal más vuelos a destinos turísticos como parte de la reactivación de vuelos seguros.

Las conexiones hacia el interior del país permitirán atender una demanda creciente de tráfico necesario que permitirá garantizar conexiones esenciales. San Martín de los Andes (Neuquén) recibirá a partir de Julio 2021 vuelos desde los aeropuertos Córdoba y Rosario como así también hasta doce frecuencias semanales con Buenos Aires. La empresa Aerolíneas Argentinas confirmó este Miércoles 19/05 que sumará vuelos directos desde las ciudades de Córdoba y Rosario al destino turístico Chapelco, en San Martín de los Andes, para la temporada turística de invierno, ampliando las frecuencias en la ruta sujeto a cambios, monitoreando la situación de pandemia del país. Durante los meses de temporada alta invernal, la compañía operará las rutas Córdoba—San Martín de Los Andes—Córdoba con dos vuelos semanales (2Frq/S) los Miércoles y Sábados, y Rosario—San Martín de los Andes—Rosario con dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S) disponibles los Jueves y Domingos. En ambas rutas ofrecerá dos frecuencias semanales. “San Martín de los Andes es uno de los destinos clave durante los meses de temporada invernal; es por eso que vamos a acompañar a la ciudad con vuelos desde las tres ciudades más importantes del país”, remarcó Pablo Ceriani, presidente de Aerolíneas Argentinas. La compañía opera once vuelos semanales a la Provincia de Neuquén, que se convertirán en 14/07. También ofrece dos conexiones por semana a Mendoza, Comodoro Rivadavia y Córdoba. Al respecto de la próxima temporada invernal, la ministra de Turismo, Marisa Focarazzo, dijo que «estamos trabajando pensando en que vamos a poder recibir a los turistas en Neuquén en todos nuestros destinos».

Desde Julio 2021 operará dos frecuencias semanales con Buenos Aires—Puerto Madryn, lo que significa la recuperación de la conectividad aérea para esa ciudad después de la suspensiones de los vuelos de Andes Líneas Aéreas. La nueva ruta estará operativa a partir del 8 de Julio de 2021 y operará los días Jueves y Domingo con vuelos regulares durante todo elaño 2021. El Intendente de Puero Madryn, Gustavo Sastre dijo al respecto: “Hoy podemos celebrar y confirmar que Aerolíneas Argentinas va a volar a Puerto Madryn. Estamos muy contentos con esta noticia porque hace mucho tiempo que venimos trabajando y gestionando para recuperar la conectividad aérea de nuestra ciudad y poder seguir fortaleciendo a la actividad turística. De cara a la temporada de ballenas y a los planes que tenemos para readaptar al turismo a los nuevos desafíos generados por la pandemia, esta es una noticia excelente para cada uno de los madrynenses”. Gustavo Sastre repasó también las gestiones realizadas para poder concretar el arribo de Aerolíneas Argentinas a Puerto Madryn y así mejorar la conectividad aérea de la ciudad. Por su parte la ciudad de Esquel recibirá cuatro vuelos semanales (4Frq/S) desde Buenos Aires a partir de Julio de 2021. En tanto que para el resto de los destinos de la Provincia de Chubut, Aerolíneas Argentinas opera actualmente siete frecuencias semanales (7Frq/S) a Trelew y ocho frecuencias semanales (8Frq/S) a Comodoro Rivadavia. De acuerdo a la próxima programación vigente es importante mencionar que las frecuencias de los vuelos pueden sufrir modificaciones en vista de la pandemia de Coronavirus.

Flota aviones

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha presentado una programación de vuelos activando las unidades de la flota de Embraer E190-100AR ex-Austral Líneas Aéreas que ofrecen un factor de ocupación adecuado frente a la crisis de la pandemia. Respecto a la flota de aeronaves narrowbodies, los Boeing 737 MAX permanecen en tierra aguardando inspecciones rutinarias. Desde la reapertura de los vuelos en el país, la compañía ha programado al Boeing 737-8 MAX matrícula LV-HKU, MSN 44293/6753 después de las rehabilitaciones por parte de la Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) de Estados Unidos y de la ANAC Argentina. Aerolíneas posee cinco unidades en su flota: LV-GVD, LV-GVE, LV-HKU, LV-HKV, LV-HKW, más una orden de seis unidades adicionales. Actualmente desde la empresa estarían activando un segundo avión registro LV-GVD hacia Julio de 2021 para reforzar el incremento de los servicios de temporada estacional. Mientras tanto, respecto a próximas incorporaciones, no existen novedades referentes a la flota de Boeing 737-8 MAX pendientes de entregas. Mientras tanto la industria del transporte aéreo continúa con bajos índices de ocupación por estas latitudes, la aerolínea estaría estudiando la incorporación de dos Airbus A330-200 (2) para reemplazar a dos aeronaves similares de su flota próximos a concluir su proceso de alquiler. Un equipo de técnicos han analizado varias propuestas bajo la solicitud del RFQ (Request for Proposal), todavía falta tomar la decisión para incorporar las unidades adicionales para complementar la flota de los widebodies.
