La aerolínea Flybondi ha retomado sus operaciones regionales e internacionales luego del parate por la pandemia y las prohibiciones de vuelos. El primer vuelo FO5950 Buenos Aires/EZE 01:20—Florianópolis/FLN 03:15, retornaba como FO5951 Florianópolis/FLN 04:25 Buenos Aires/EZE 06:30. La low cost argentina desarrollará tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) los Miércoles, Viernes y Domingos, empleando aeronaves Boeing 737-800 Next Generation, con capacidad para 189 pasajeros. A partir del 16 de Enero de 2022, Flybondi incrementará a ocho frecuencias semanales (8Frq/S) entre ambas ciudades.

Argentina modifica propuesta vuelos humanitarios a Malvinas
La Cancillería Argentina ha comunicado el ofrecimiento de los vuelos humanitarios entre el archipiélago de las Islas Malvinas y Chile, permitiendo así el traslado de ciudadanos chilenos al país trasandino. Después de que el Reino Unido rechazara la propuesta de Argentina para enviar dos vuelos humanitarios directos desde Argentina a Malvinas, desde Cancillería insisten con esta iniciativa y proponen que los aviones realicen el puente aéreo Malvinas-Chile.
“Habiendo tomado conocimiento de que la mayor parte de los residentes de las Islas Malvinas que necesitan contar con un servicio aéreo al continente son de origen chileno, el gobierno argentino ofreció que en su viaje de regreso al continente, los vuelos puedan dirigirse directamente al aeropuerto de Punta Arenas o algún otro aeropuerto alternativo en Chile. Esta propuesta toma en cuenta que en la actualidad existen restricciones en los pasos fronterizos con Chile”, expresa el comunicado emitido este Sábado 11/12 por Cancillería. Desde la cartera conducida por Santiago Cafiero comunicaron que esta iniciativa se basa en una recomendación del Consejo Nacional Malvinas que busca contribuir a superar las consecuencias negativas producidas por la pandemia. El Foreign Office, la cancillería británica, ha recibido la propuesta siendo remitida a las autoridades isleñas para su consideración.
La Administración de Boris Johnson, Primer Ministro británico, había expresado su negativa a la oferta inicial del Gobierno argentino y propuesto, en su lugar, “fletar un vuelo chárter desde las Islas Mavinas/Falklands Islands hacia Chile, con regreso a principios del año próximo. El FIG (Falkland Islands Government) desea ayudar a la gente a viajar para visitar a sus familias durante las Navidades, por lo que ha pedido al Gobierno de Argentina que le permita fletar un vuelo chárter desde las Falklands a Chile, con regreso a principios del año próximo. El FIG correrá con los gastos de estos vuelos”, expresaron desde el Gobierno de Malvinas.
