En esta oportunidad, tuvimos que trasladar vuelos de aeroparque a Ezeiza por contagios en nuestro equipo técnico. Estamos realizando un esfuerzo muy grande para sostener las operaciones y cumplir con los pasajeros y pasajeras. Los vuelos afectados debían partir desde el Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery entre las 14:00 y las 21:00 hs a destinos como Rosario, Neuquén, Bahía Blanca, Iguazú, Mar del Plata, Córdoba, Jujuy, Esquel, Posadas y Santiago del Estero, y han sido reprogramados su salida desde el Aeropuerto Ezeiza en los mismos horarios.

La aerolínea Aeroméxico continúa con una fuerte reestructuración que ahorrará un total de US$ 685 millones de Dólares durante cuatro años tras la renegociación de sus contratos colectivos y el despido de cerca de 2.500 empleados. En ese entonces, la compañía no detalló la negociación, pero ASPA reveló en un comunicado por separado que los pilotos aceptaron reducciones por un total de US$ 350 millones en los contratos colectivos para los próximos cuatro años. Ahora, la empresa precisó que las negociaciones abarcaron a 9.410 empleados activos y sindicalizados en México con condiciones que impactarán sus salarios, beneficios y condiciones laborales por un periodo de cuatro años. Además, de ASSA y ASPA incluyen al Sindicato de Trabajadores de la Industria Aeronáutica, Comunicaciones Similares y Conexos de la República Mexicana (STIA), y al Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores al Servicio de las Líneas Aéreas, Transportes, Servicios, Similares y Conexos. Aeroméxico tuvo una caída del 54.2% en el transporte de pasajeros en 2020, por lo que se adscribió en Junio 2020 al Capítulo 11 de la Ley de Bancarrota de Estados Unidos en el Tribunal del Distrito Sur de Nueva York para conseguir una reestructuración financiera. Aeroméxico confía en que la refinanciación le permita superar la crisis de la pandemia. “Los nuevos contratos colectivos representan un paso clave en la reestructura financiera de la compañía: desbloquean liquidez financiera necesaria, proveen de una estructura de costos competitiva hacia delante y resuelven un litigio incierto y costoso”, concluyó en el documento entregados a la Corte del Sur de Nueva York.
