Azul reanuda vuelos a RS y GOL a Nordeste

Azul Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado la reanudación de vuelos regionales en el Estado de Rio Grande do Sul. El anuncio se produjo en una videoconferencia de la dirección de la compañía con el Gobernador Eduardo Leite y el Presidente del Frente Parlamentario de Aviación Regional, el Diputado Frederico Antunes, entre otras autoridades, con la asistencia del Presidente John Rodgerson y otros ejecutivos.

Azul reiniciará las operaciones de cabotaje a partir del 8 de Diciembre de 2020, vuelos que conectan Porto Alegre con las ciudades de Pelotas y Santa María. Las rutas se llevarán a cabo con aeronaves turboprop ATR 72-600, con capacidad para hasta 70 pasajeros y frecuencias de Lunes a Viernes, con los protocolos de bioseguridad respectivos aprobados. Los pasajes se venderán a través de la página web de la aerolínea a partir del Sábado 17/10. «Estamos seguros de regresar con vuelos a Santa María y Pelotas en este momento, pero sabemos y queremos hacer mucho más en RS. Tenemos un plan para seguir retomando otras rutas regionales, que ya habíamos creado el año pasado, y además, estamos pensando en nuevas líneas. Estamos regresando con fuerza», dijo el Presidente de la compañía.

«Es una noticia importante, que muestra que las medidas adoptadas hasta ahora para combatir el coronavirus han sido acordadas y, al mismo tiempo, eso señala e impulsa la recuperación de nuestra economía. Un estado como el nuestro, de gran tamaño y potencial para inversiones y negocios, necesita estar conectado. El virtual ayuda mucho, pero no reemplaza las relaciones cara a cara. Gol Linhas Aéreas anunció este martes 13/10 la reanudación de 29 vuelos a los aeropuertos de João Pessoa y Campina Grande en el Estado de Paraíba. El incremento de vuelos a la Región Nordeste representa un crecimiento del 27% respecto a septiembre de 2020. Según el presidente de la Compañía de Turismo de Paraiba (PBTur), Ruht Avelino, solo se realizaron 11 vuelos en total en Joao Pessoa y Campina Grande.

El aumento en la frecuencia de vuelos se inserta en la terminal João Pessoa con destinos en Brasilia (BSB), en el Distrito Federal, que ahora cuenta con seis salidas semanales; Galeão (GIG), en Río de Janeiro, con 13 vuelos semanales y Salvador (SSA), en Bahía, donde se operarán cuatro salidas semanales. Southwest agregará servicio desde el Aeropuerto O’Hare en 2021

El sindicato de pilotos de Southwest Airlines rechaza la propuesta de recorte salarial del 10%. La Asociación de Pilotos de Southwest Airlines (SWAPA) es la única unidad de negociación para los más de 9.700 pilotos de la aerolínea de presupuesto líder en Estados Unidos. El Sindicato de pilotos SWAPA está rechazando una propuesta de la compañía para reducir los salarios en un 10% para evitar licencias hasta fines del próximo año, la última arruga en los esfuerzos de la aerolínea para reducir los costos en la pandemia.

Bamboo Airways incorporará Embraer E195 adicionales

Flybondi regresa mercado brasileño hacia Noviembre 2020

La aerolínea argentina low cost Flybondi Líneas Aéreas está evaluando la reanudación de vuelos hacia la República de Brasil, luego del impacto de la pandemia en las supresiones de vuelos en todo el mundo. La aerolínea de presupuesto espera reanudar los vuelos entre Argentina y Brasil a partir del 1 de Noviembre de 2020 desde el Aeropuerto Internacional El Palomar, luego de la posición a favor del retorno de los vuelos en el primer aeropuerto low cost de Sudamérica.

Aerolíneas Argentinas programa 65 vuelos especiales

Aerolíneas Argentinas ha anunciado la programación de 65 vuelos especiales para destinos regionales e internacionales el próximo mes de Octubre 2020. Los destinos seleccionados como Madrid, Miami, San Pablo y Santiago de Chile, entre otros destinos permitirán conectar con frecuencias semanales a los usuarios del transportes con medidas protocolares sanitarias vigentes.

Vuelos internacionales

Aerolíneas Argentinas informó que los vuelos a Madrid tendrán dos frecuencias semanales (2Frq/S), al salir desde Buenos Aires los Lunes/Viernes, con un regreso para los Miércoles/Domingos, respectivamente. Los vuelos con destino a Nueva York contarán con tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S) durante el próximo mes con fechas de salida los días 1, 15 y 29 y de retornos los días 3, 17 y 31 de Octubre de 2020. Miami ha asignado cuatro vuelos por semana (4Frq/S) los Lunes/Miércoles/Viernes/Sábado con regresos a Buenos Aires los Lunes/Miércoles/Viernes/Domingo. Los vuelos con destino a Miami transportará carga de arándanos de Salta, Tucumán, Entre Ríos y Buenos Aires, con destino a los Estados Unidos. «Este tipo de operación, denominada mixta, combina trasporte de carga y pasajeros, razón por la cual en el tramo de ida saldrán a la venta sólo 50 tickets, en función de la capacidad de bodega de la aeronave», indicó la aerolínea bandera.

Vuelos regionales

Los vuelos programados para la región en América del Sur corresponderán a Lima con tres vuelos los días 2, 16 y 30 de Octubre con regresos los días 3, 17 y 31/10. Los vuelos programados a Santiago de Chile con dos frecuencias semanales los Martes/Jueves. A Asunción, contará con dos vuelos mensuales el 5 y 19 de Octubre. A San Pablo contará con cuatro vuelos semanales los Lunes/Miércoles/Viernes/Domingo.

«Si bien los vuelos forman parte de la operación especial que la compañía lleva adelante, los tickets pueden ser adquiridos a través de la web de Aerolíneas Argentinas sin intermediación de los consulados», ha comunicado la compañía aérea. Mientras tanto, la Dirección de Migraciones de Argentina ha habilitado a principio de Septiembre 2020 las declaraciones juradas electrónicas para agilizar el trámite y evitar aglomeraciones.

Caribbean Airlines lanza nuevo destino Isla Dominica

Caribbean Airlines, la compañía aérea de Trinidad y Tobago ha iniciado oficialmente su ruta más nueva con el lanzamiento de nuevos vuelos entre Barbados y Dominica. Los vuelos operarán dos veces por semana los Sábados y Domingos, aumentando a cuatro veces por semana la frecuencia hacia mediados de Octubre 2020, según el comunicado de la aerolínea.

Para el 28 de Octubre 2020, los vuelos operarán los Domingos, Miércoles, Jueves y Sábados. “Nuestro crecimiento en el Caribe Oriental continúa con el inicio del servicio entre Barbados y Dominica. Caribbean Airlines está cumpliendo con nuestro mandato de hacer que los viajes regionales sean más fáciles y convenientes y esta expansión de la red está trabajando en paralelo con nuestros acuerdos estratégicos entre líneas para facilitar conexiones fluidas desde destinos internacionales a través de Barbados a Santa Lucía, St Vincent Antigua, Kingston y ahora Dominica”, dijo Garvin Medera, Director Ejecutivo de Caribbean Airlines.

Surinam Airways estrena Boeing 777 ruta Paramaribo-Amsterdam

El Boeing 777-200ER de Surinam Airways (SLM) ha realizado por primera vez un vuelo transatlántico en la ruta Paramaribo-Amsterdam/Schiphol el Sábado 5 Septiembre 2020 por la mañana. La compañía SLM ha efectuado un vuelo de demostración, que se realizó desde Paramaribo, capital de la República de Surinam. La aeronave no ha realizado una ruta directa por falta de certificación ETOPS. En lugar de volar en línea recta a los Países Bajos, se tomó un rumbo al este del Caribe y la costa de América del Norte. Por tanto, la duración del vuelo es aproximadamente una hora y media más larga de lo normal.
