La Administración de Estados Unidos prohíbe volar a Cuba, con excepción de La Habana

El Gobierno de Estados Unidos prohibirá a partir del 10 Diciembre 2019 que las aerolíneas comerciales estadounidenses viajen a Cuba, con la excepción de los vuelos con destino a la capital La Habana. Razones de las medidas

El gobierno de Donald Trump ha tomado las medidas para «evitar que el régimen cubano se beneficie de los viajes aéreos estadounidenses y evitar que se use para financiar su represión contra el pueblo cubano y su apoyo a Nicolás Maduro en Venezuela». Los vuelos chárter, que tradicionalmente dominaron el mercado de viajes a Cuba desde Estados Unidos, no se verán afectados por la medida.

Los vuelos fletados (charters) a Cuba no se verán afectados, y podrán continuar sus itinerarios y reservaciones de boletos como venían realizando hasta el momento, dijo a CiberCuba un funcionario del Departamento de Estado.

Aerolíneas afectadas

Latam unirá Argentina con Malvinas

Avance histórico en las relaciones Británico-argentinas

Latam Airlines incorporará la nueva ruta Sao Paulo-Córdoba-Puerto Argentino a partir del 6 Noviembe 2019 marcando una fecha histórica para las relaciones argentino-británica. Después de muchos meses de negociaciones y de veinte años de una conectividad limitada, el suelo continental argentino estará unido a partir del 6 Noviembre 2019 a las Islas Malvinas por un nuevo vuelo de Latam Airlines Brasil que hará escala en Córdoba (Argentina). Una noticia aerocomercial que se convierte en un avance y en un hecho histórico.

La nueva ruta aerocomercial

Sao Paulo-Córdoba-Malvinas estará cubierta con aeronaves Boeing 767-300 con capacidad para más de 200 pasajeros y ampliación de las capacidades de bodega que permitirán incorporar más despacho de mercancías necesarias para las islas del Atlántico Sur. Los horarios de vuelos estarían comprendidos saliendo de Sao Paulo a las 09:30 hs, previa escala en Córdoba, aterrizando en el Aeropuerto de Mount Pleasant a las 14:35 hs. El vuelo de regreso partiría de las Malvinas a las 16:50 hs con escala en Córdoba estaría arribando en el Aeropuerto Sao Paulo/Guarulhos a las 21:35 hs.

Aunque solo está programado para partir una vez por semana, la conexión acercará a las Malvinas a una amplia gama de ciudades en Europa. Latam Airlines Brasil vuela directamente a Heathrow, así como a Madrid, Barcelona, Frankfurt, París, Milán y Lisboa, desde Sao Paulo, mientras que British Airways ofrece un servicio sin escalas a Guarulhos desde Heathrow. Qantas Airways probará vuelo sin escalas más largo del mundo

La aerolínea australiana Qantas Airways se está preparando para ejecutar su primer vuelo de prueba sin escalas desde la ciudad de Nueva York a Sydney, una ruta que ninguna aerolínea ha podido hacer sin detenerse. The details of the -1000 offer to Qantas, including the payload restrictions or the proposed modifications, remain confidential while the operator selection process continues. But Airbus did not specifically call the Project Sunrise plane an ‘A350-1000ULR’.
