La única aerolínea nacional de Tonga, Real Tonga Airlines, iniciará un nuevo servicio internacional a Samoa, a principios de noviembre de 2017

El servicio será operado por un avión de 34 asientos SAAB 340 para volar entre Tonga y Apia una vez por semana, con conexión con la Isla de Fiji proyectado para más adelante.

Tevita Palu, propietario de la aerolínea y director general anunciado el 4 de octubre, las tarifas aéreas ofrecidas serían menos de la mitad de los costos actuales, lo que hará que los viajes sean asequibles. Dijo que la aerolínea ha recibido la aprobación de la Aviación Civil del Ministerio de Infraestructura para las operaciones de Tonga a Samoa y Fiji. «El paso de las operaciones domésticas a las internacionales requiere unos requisitos de seguridad más estrictos y la aerolínea ha tenido que demostrar competencia».

Tonga’s sole national carrier, Real Tonga Airlines, will start a new international service to Samoa in early November 2017

Sky Airline ha iniciado hoy operaciones entre Santiago de Chile y Rosario

Sky Airline es la primera low cost en comenzar a volar desde el Aeropuerto internacional Rosario. La aerolínea conectará estas dos ciudades tres veces a la semana. De esta manera incorpora otra ruta en Argentina. Córdoba, Mendoza y Buenos Aires son los otros destinos.

El vuelo inaugural arribará hoy al Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario procedente de Santiago de Chile a las 15:10 hs y despegará a las 15:40 hs rumbo a la capital chilena. Las frecuencias directas serán desde el Aeropuerto Rosario los martes a las 15:40 hs, jueves 15.20 hs y domingo 18:20 hs; mientras que los arribos desde Santiago se producirán a las 15:10, 14:50 y 17:50 hs, respectivamente. El tiempo de vuelo será de aproximadamente 01:40 hs.

Sky Airline es un modelo low cost con precios competitivos. El tramo tiene un valor de U$D52 dólares por tramo (Rosario-Santiago o viceversa), más las tasas de embarque desde Aeropuerto Rosario de U$D69 dólares y en Chile, U$D30 dólares más servicios adicionales de la aerolínea. Curiosamente para esta tarifa el valor de ticket es menor a la tasa aeroportuaria, algo inexplicable y fuera de lógica.

La tarifa «light» da derecho a un equipaje de mano de 10 kilos y un asiento aleatorio. Una valija en bodega de hasta 23 kilos tiene un costo adicional de U$D16 dólares más. Un ejemplo ida y vuelta tendría un valor de U$D203 dólares, unos AR$3.500 pesos. La compañía ofrece además promociones en su página web.

La directora comercial de Sky Airline, Carmen Gloria Serrat expresó: «Decidimos abrir la ruta a Rosario porque consideramos que es un destino que tiene proyección». El primer vuelo ha cumplido las expectativas de venta cubriendo un 80% de ocupación. Las demás aerolíneas se han tenido que ajustar al ingreso de nuevos operadores en el mercado de Rosario.

La compañía Gol Linhas Aéreas conectará con tres frecuencias semanales

Gol retomará a partir de diciembre tres vuelos semanales entre Montevideo—Porto Alegre. Según informó la empresa aérea, los vuelos serán con aviones Boeing 737-800. La conexión comenzará a operar desde el 16 de diciembre los martes, jueves y sábados.

Con estos vuelos, la compañía suma opciones de conectividad con localidades brasileñas para la próxima temporada al igual que la aerolínea Azul. Corrientes tendrá un vuelo a Asunción desde noviembre 2017

Amaszonas iniciará tres vuelos semanales, los martes y jueves a las 14:40 hs y los domingos a las 15:30 hs. La ruta será directa y no incluirá a otras ciudades. Tras más de 12 años sin este servicio, el primer avión a la capital paraguaya saldrá el 2 de noviembre.

Luego de una etapa de análisis en la que se estudiaron varias posibilidades, Amaszonas comenzará a explotar la ruta aérea Corrientes-Asunción (Paraguay), sumando un nuevo vuelo que llegará al aeropuerto Piragine Niveyro. El primer avión de la empresa Amaszonas partirá hacia Paraguay el próximo 2 de noviembre. De acuerdo a lo previsto, esta aerolínea operará en el aeropuerto local tres veces a la semana, brindando una nueva alternativa de traslado a Paraguay. “El servicio va a ser los martes, jueves y domingos”, adelantó Aquino en diálogo con este matutino. Entre semana, el horario de salida será a las 14:40 hs y los domingos sería a las 15:30 hs.

Otra ruta inaugurada es Trelew—El Calafate. Austral Líneas Aéreas inauguró formalmente este viernes una nueva ruta aérea entre Trelew, Chubut, y El Calafate, Santa Cruz. El nuevo vuelo está disponible los lunes, miércoles y viernes con aeronaves Embraer 190-100AR, con capacidad para 96 pasajeros. Las partidas están programadas a las 10:15 hs desde el Aeropuerto Internacional «Almirante Marcos A. Zar» de Trelew, con arribos estimados al mediodía en el Aeropuerto Internacional «Comandante Armando Tola» de El Calafate. Los regresos parten esos mismos días desde Calafate a las 16:00 hs y arriban a Trelew a las 17:30 hs.

La aerolínea Avior sumó una nueva ruta entre Caracas y Fort Lauderdale, Florida

El director de Avior Airlines, Juan Bracamote, detalló que la aerolínea venezolana conectará la nueva ruta Caracas—Fort Lauderdale.

Dynamic International Airways está a punto de reducir drásticamente su número de vuelos a Guyana, dijeron las autoridades

Gerry Gouveia, director ejecutivo de Roraima Airways, dijo que estaba «viendo dos vuelos en el sistema» y que el transportista «consolidaría» a los pasajeros ya reservados para volar en el horario reducido.

Dynamic International Airways planea reducir su servicio a Guyana de cinco vuelos semanales a sólo tres a principios de octubre. Gouveia espera que la reunión del martes informe que el recorte en los vuelos sería para la «temporada baja» que termina en noviembre. Dijo que el plan original era cortar el número de vuelos de cinco semanales a tres veces por semana y reanudar siete vuelos semanales.

Dijo que después de una reunión clave se celebrará el lunes que sería capaz de decir definitivamente qué decisión se ha tomado. Pero, ya dijo que la reducción de vuelos daría lugar a Caribbean Airlines, la mayor compañía de la ruta entre Guyana y Estados Unidos, duplicando sus tarifas. «No es fácil. La aerolínea ha recortado 60 de los 192 puestos de trabajo desde que presentó la protección de bancarrota del capítulo 11 el 19 de julio. Tiene planes de agregar ocho pilotos y 22 asistentes de vuelo como parte de la expansión de los servicios a través de una nueva estrategia de vuelos que comenzó el viernes. Dynamic informó recortar su deuda de responsabilidad del cliente de $ 7,98 millones a $ 1,96 millones a partir del viernes. Proyecta reducir la deuda a $ 323,659 a mediados de octubre.

The other airlines on the route between the United States and Guyana are Fly Jamaica, Suriname Airways and Caribbean Airlines.

The airline has cut 60 of the 192 jobs since filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 19. It plans to add eight pilots and 22 flight attendants as part of the expansion of services through a new flight strategy that began Friday. Dynamic reported cutting its customer liability debt from $ 7.98 million to $ 1.96 million as of Friday. It plans to reduce debt to $ 323,659 by mid-October.

Este sábado, 16 de septiembre, despegó el último vuelo de Delta Air Lines desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía, Venezuela

Según video publicado en las redes sociales, antes del despegue la tripulación de Delta Aire Lines expresó que fue un gran placer formar parte de esa maravillosa familia y esperan regresar al país en un futuro cercano. Con la Bandera Nacional en la ventana de la cabina, piloto y copiloto se despidieron de Venezuela para cubrir la ruta Caracas–Atlanta.

Los trabajadores se despidieron de Venezuela con pancartas en las que se lee «La libertad es el orígen del alma. Esperamos volver». El piloto ondeó la bandera antes del despegue del avión. El pasado julio la empresa emitió un comunicado en el que explicaba que la suspensión de sus operaciones en el país se debe a las “condiciones inestables del mercado”. En su cuenta de Twitter, la aerolínea informó que su último vuelo sería este 16 de septiembre.

Delta Air Lines, que tenía 15 años de operaciones en el país, se suma a las aerolíneas Air Canada, Alitalia, Aeroméxico, GOL Linhas Aéreas, Lufthansa, Latam Airlines, Tiara Air, United Airlines. Todas han abandonado el suelo venezolano por la difícil situación que atraviesa el país.

Las islas portuguesas y españolas del Atlántico estudian conexiones con Boston, EEUU y Toronto, Canadá

Los mandatarios de ambas archipiélagos de las Islas Canarias y las Islas Azores se reunieron para estudiar la mejora de la conexión, las comunicaciones y el movimiento de pasajeros por vía aérea con Estados Unidos, Canadá y con África Occidental. Ambas presidencias consideran que, en coordinación, pueden reducir el tiempo de vuelo hasta Norteamérica. En paralelo, se celebró un encuentro con los máximos representantes de las compañías aéreas SATA y Binter.

Esta mejora de las conexiones aéreas en las mencionadas zonas está ligada a la estrategia que está desarrollando el Gobierno de Canarias para favorecer la internacionalización económica de las Islas.

Tanto SATA como Binter Canarias cuentan con vuelos directos entre Canarias y Azores. En concreto, SATA Azores vuela tres veces a la semana entre Gran Canaria y Ponta Delgada en código compartido con Binter Canarias y vuela cuatro veces en semana desde Ponta Delgada a Boston y Toronto. Esas conexiones directas con EEUU y Canadá suponen una oportunidad para abrir una conexión con Canarias.

La colaboración entre los archipiélagos dará como resultado una buena coordinación de vuelos que, de minimizarse el tiempo de las escalas, junto con los trayectos más cortos, podría reducir el tiempo de vuelo entre Norteamérica y el Archipiélago Canario.

Ambos Gobiernos acordaron mantener un calendario de reuniones a lo largo de los próximos meses para avanzar en las posibilidades que se abren con esa colaboración tanto para la conexión con EEUU y Canadá.

El Ejecutivo canario asegura que las Islas han mejorado su conectividad con África en los últimos años. Así, ya cuenta con más de 40 vuelos semanales a Marruecos, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia y Cabo Verde. El número de pasajeros entre Canarias y África se ha incrementado en los últimos dos años en un 11,5%, contando ya con unos 131.000 pasajeros anuales, una trayectoria ascendente desde el inicio de la apuesta de Binter Canarias por África Occidental.

Sin embargo, que las Islas puedan convertirse en un hub de negocios pasa por tener una excelente conectividad con destinos europeos y norteamericanos, de ahí, la importancia de las conversaciones iniciadas hoy entre los gobiernos de Azores y Canarias.

This improvement of the air connections in the mentioned zones is linked to the strategy that the Government of the Canary Islands is developing to favor the economic internationalization of the Islands.

Both SATA and Binter Canarias have direct flights between the Canary Islands and the Azores. Specifically, SATA Azores flies three times a week between Gran Canaria and Ponta Delgada in codeshare with Binter Canarias and flies four times a week from Ponta Delgada to Boston and Toronto. These direct connections to the US and Canada represent an opportunity to open a connection with the Canary Islands.

The collaboration between the archipelagos will result in a good coordination of flights that, if the stopover time is minimized along with the shorter journeys, could reduce the time of flight between North America and the Canary Archipelago.

The two governments agreed to maintain a calendar of meetings over the next few months to advance the possibilities that are open with that collaboration for both the US and Canada.

The Canary Islands executive says the islands have improved their connectivity with Africa in recent years. Thus, it already has more than 40 weekly flights to Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia and Cape Verde. The number of passengers between the Canary Islands and Africa has increased in the last two years by 11.5%, with some 131,000 passengers per year, an upward trajectory since the start of Binter Canarias’ bet on West Africa.

However, that the Islands can become a business hub is to have excellent connectivity to European and North American destinations, hence the importance of the talks initiated today between the governments of the Azores and the Canaries. A \ W

Sky Airline la línea aérea chilena conectará Santiago de Chile con Rosario desde el próximo 3 de octubre de 2017 iniciando el modelo low-cost en el Aeropuerto Rosario

En el marco de la inauguración de los vuelos de la aerolínea low cost chilena Sky Airline en Rosario, cuyo primer servicio aterrizará en la ciudad el próximo 3 de octubre, la intendenta Mónica Fein, junto al secretario de Turismo municipal, Héctor De Benedictis, mantuvo un encuentro este jueves 1° de septiembre con los principales directivos de la línea aérea. Participaron el CEO de Sky, Holger Paulmann; la country manager, Andrea Jans; el gerente de comunicaciones, Juan Carlos Lynch, y la jefa de Comunicaciones Externas, Renata Robbio.

Las perspectivas que abre la llegada del modelo low cost a la región y en los beneficios económicos, sociales y turísticos derivados de la conectividad entre Rosario y Chile, el encuentro permitió formalizar un plan de acciones trazado previamente por el director ejecutivo del Ente Turístico Rosario, Federico Stolar, junto a la jefa de comunicaciones de Sky. En este acuerdo, se prevén distintas acciones promocionales para promover el arribo de viajeros a Rosario, incluyendo acciones de prensa y promoción turística, concursos y capacitaciones para operadores turísticos chilenos.

El próximo 3 de octubre Sky Airline aterrizará por primera vez en el Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario con tickets desde U$D52 dólares por tramo, sin tasas y en base a tarifa light; y tendrá una frecuencia de tres vuelos semanales los días martes, jueves y domingos. Rosario ingresa a la red de rutas argentinas operadas por Sky Airline que son Buenos Aires, Córdoba y Mendoza, las que transportan a más de dos millones de pasajeros al año entre ambos países.
