Avior Airlines es actualmente la única aerolínea que opera rutas directas entre Venezuela y Curaçao

A partir del próximo 7 Agosto, Curaçao tendrá vuelos directos desde Maiquetía. La ruta la ofrecerá la aerolínea Avior Airlines que abrirá 4 vuelos semanales hacia Curaçao.

La aerolínea venezolana Avior Airlines reanudará sus vuelos entre Venezuela y Curazao a partir del 7 Agosto 2018. Las operaciones serán reactivadas con la ruta Caracas–Curazao–Caracas. Con esto, Curazao volverá a tener un canal directo con la capital venezolana.

Avior Airlines es actualmente la única aerolínea que opera rutas directas entre Venezuela y Curaçao, desde Caracas (Maiquetía), sumando la ruta como destino exclusivo. La nueva ruta internacional prestará el servicio a los viajeros que desde Caracas estén interesados en visitar la isla del Caribe.

United Airlines incorpora vuelo non-stop Washington-Tel Aviv

United Airlines se convertirá en la primera aerolínea estadounidense en ofrecer servicio sin escalas entre Washington (DC) y Tel Aviv uniendo desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Washington Dulles y el Aeropuerto Internacional Ben Gurion. United Airlines ha anunciado planes para una nueva ruta sin escalas entre Washington DC y Tel Aviv, que se lanzará el 22 Mayo 2019.

La aerolínea estadounidense espera la aprobación del gobierno para iniciar las operaciones hacia Tel Aviv. Las frecuencias semanales serán los miércoles, viernes y domingos, desde Dulles. Cerca de 70 conexiones estarán disponibles en los vuelos de regreso, incluido el servicio a Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Houston, Dallas y Miami.

El anuncio marca el vigésimo aniversario del servicio de United a Israel. La compañía comenzó a prestar servicio a Israel en 1999 cuando anunció vuelos entre Newark y Tel Aviv. United Airlines incorporates Washington-Tel Aviv non-stop flight

United Airlines will become the first US airline to offer nonstop service between Washington (DC) and Tel Aviv joining from Washington Dulles International Airport and Ben Gurion International Airport. United Airlines has announced plans for a new nonstop route between Washington DC and Tel Aviv, which will launch on May 22, 2019.

Gol Líneas Aéreas ha comunicado que iniciará vuelos a Caxias do Sul partiendo desde el Aeropuerto internacional Sao Paulo-Guarulhos con una frecuencia de cinco veces por semana. Swoop Airlines inicará vuelos a EEUU en Octubre 2018

Swoop Airlines se convertirá en la primera aerolínea de ultra bajo costo de Canadá que volará a los Estados Unidos a cinco destinos turísticos populares en Florida, Nevada y Arizona.

La filial de WestJet Airlines Ltd. comenzará el 11 Octubre 2018 con vuelos desde Abbotsford (British Columbia) y Edmonton a Las Vegas. Otros destinos que servirá la aerolínea son: Hamilton (Ontario) a Las Vegas, así como a las ciudades de Florida, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando y Tampa Bay. Los vuelos entre Edmonton y Phoenix comenzarán el 27 Octubre 20108. La mayoría de los destinos recibirán servicio varias veces por semana, pero el servicio diario se realizará entre Edmonton y Las Vegas.

La expansión de los servicios internacionales para Octubre 2018 comienzan aproximadamente cuatro meses después de que Swoop comenzó a volar. Los servicios internacionales comenzarán cuando Swoop Airlines reciba la entrega de su quinto y sexto avión Boeing 737-800,informó el Presidente de Swoop, Steven Greenway. «Realmente se combinan bien con el modelo que proporcionamos en términos de perfil de ocio de alto volumen y bajo costo al que definitivamente apuntamos», dijo en una entrevista.

Modelo Ultra-Lowcost

El modelo de la aerolínea se basa en que los pasajeros paguen tarifas adicionales por complementos como bolsas, asientos premium y Wi-Fi que inflan los costos de viaje según las necesidades individuales de los pasajeros. Swoop actualmente recibe alrededor de US$ 36 por pasajero, el doble del nivel en WestJet. Sin embargo, se espera que se generen más de estos ingresos no tarifarios a medida que se agregan otros servicios como alquiler de automóviles, hoteles, seguro de viaje de terceros y ofertas reforzadas de alimentos y bebidas.

El objetivo de WestJet es usar las tarifas bajas de Swoop para estimular la demanda de personas que normalmente no vuelan y ayudar a repatriar a algunos de los cinco millones de viajeros canadienses que cruzan la frontera para salir de los aeropuertos de EEUU.

Mientras que el bajo dólar canadiense encarece los vuelos de EEUU, el lanzamiento del servicio de Swoop también debería ayudar a aumentar la demanda transfronteriza canadiense y los estadounidenses que vuelan al oeste de Canadá. Swoop operará en una combinación de aeropuertos secundarios como el Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport y aeropuertos muy populares como el Aeropuerto Internacional McCarran en Las Vegas, donde no hay alternativas.

Swoop Airlines will become the first ultra low cost airline in Canada that will fly to the United States to five popular tourist destinations in Florida, Nevada and Arizona.

The WestJet Airlines Ltd. subsidiary will begin on October 11, 2018 with flights from Abbotsford (British Columbia) and Edmonton to Las Vegas. The expansion of international services for October 2018 begins approximately four months after Swoop began to fly. International services will begin when Swoop Airlines receives delivery of its fifth and sixth Boeing 737-800 aircraft, said Swoop President Steven Greenway. «They really fit well with the model we provide in terms of high-volume, low-cost leisure profile that we definitely aim for», he said in an interview.

Ultra-Lowcost model

The model of the airline is based on passengers paying additional fees for accessories such as bags, premium seats and Wi-Fi that inflate travel costs according to the individual needs of passengers. Swoop currently receives around US$36 per passenger, double the level at WestJet. However, it is expected that more of these non-tariff revenues will be generated as other services such as car rental, hotels, third-party travel insurance and enhanced offers of food and beverages are added.

The goal of WestJet is to use Swoop’s low fares to stimulate the demand of people who do not normally fly and help repatriate some of the five million Canadian travelers who cross the border to leave US airports.

While the low Canadian dollar makes US flights more expensive, the launch of the Swoop service should also help increase Canadian cross-border demand and Americans flying to western Canada. Prices are probably not low enough to convince Americans to fly out of Canada.

Swoop will operate in a combination of secondary airports such as Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and popular airports such as the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, where there are no alternatives.

Swoop faces domestic competition largely from Flair Airlines, Air Canada, Sunwing and Air Transat with large cross-border and Caribbean routes. A \ W

La aerolínea regional de Argentina Flyest Líneas Aéreas iniciará la ruta Aeroparque-Santa Fe

A partir del 19 Septiembre 2018, Flyest Líneas Aéreas iniciará operaciones entre Buenos Aires y Santa Fe. La aerolínea empleará los Bombardier CRJ-200 con capacidad para 50 pasajeros, unirá la ruta del Litoral. La aeronave pernoctará en el Aeropuerto Santa Fe, saldrá a las 07:00 hs hacia Aeroparque y retornará a las 19:00 hs a Sauce Viejo.

El Director del Ente Autárquico del Aeropuerto Sauce Viejo de Santa Fe, Santiago Amézaga, confirmó que la empresa Flyest Líneas Aéreas ha anunciado la incorporación de una nueva ruta regular en el corredor del Litoral argentino. Además están en tratativas para realizar vuelos charters desde este destino hacia Punta del Este (Uruguay) y el sur de Brasil.

Flyest Líneas Aéreas es un operador aéreo argentino certificado y habilitado por la ANAC (Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil) para operar vuelos internacionales y domésticos, para el transporte de pasajeros, carga y correo. La flota está compuesta por aeronaves Bombardier CRJ 200, con capacidad máxima para 50 pasajeros. Bombardier es una empresa de Canadá que produce material para ferrocarril, aviones regionales y otros servicios comerciales.

Sky Airline ha anunciado la cancelación de la ruta Santiago de Chile-Rosario por baja demanda

La aerolínea chilena Sky Airline confirmó el rumor de la cancelación de la ruta Santiago de Chile-Rosario. El sitio web de al compañía ya no tiene a disposición las rutas a Rosario para después del 30 Septiembre 2018.

Sky Airline, la lowcost chilena había desembarcado en el Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario en Octubre 2017 aprovechando la bonanza de compras de argentinos en Chile. Diferentes aspectos de la economía argentina, como la devaluación, la alta competitividad, ha llevado a la aerolínea a cancelar la ruta regional. La ruta de Sky Airline nunca llegó a ser un gran éxito, provocando la reducción de la frecuencia de tres a dos vuelos semanales, desde Abril 2018 sin lograr resultados buenos.

Mercado competitivo

Sky Airline se lanzó al mercado a luchar contra los grandes como Latam Airlines a través de sus filiales en Perú, Brasil y Chile, que son capaces de canalizar todo el tráfico del Aeropuerto Rosario hacia otros destinos a través de sus respectivos hubs en Lima, San Pablo/Guarulhos y Santiago de Chile, por lo que apoyarse mayormente en el tráfico punto a punto desde y hacia la capital chilena no bastó para poder sostener la ruta. Sky Airlines mantiene sus frecuencias semanales a Buenos Aires (14), a Mendoza (7) y a Córdoba (4).

Aunque el período invernal es el más bajo en el tráfico de pasajeros a nivel mundial, la aerolínea sky Airline ha venido sufriendo una baja competitibidad en la navegación aérea. El mercado en la ruta Santiago-Rosario en el mes de Julio estuvo dado por Latam Airlines con 2.685 pax, Latam Brasil con 3.335 y en tercer orden por Sky Airline con 1.063 pajeros. La cancelación de la ruta aérea a Santiago ha causado un revés para el Aeropuerto Rosario, pero por sobre todo a los usuarios del transporte aéreo.

Directivos de las aerolíneas LASA Líneas Aéreas y Avianca Argentina se reunieron que representantes del Gobierno de Santiago del Estero para sumar destinos

Ejecutivos de las aerolíneas Avianca y LASA Líneas Aéreas se reunieron en Buenos Aires con representantes del Gobierno de Santiago del Estero, para ultimar detalles de tres nuevas rutas aéreas que conectarán la provincia con las ciudades de Córdoba y Mar del Plata antes de fin de año.

El Grupo LASA, comunicó por medio de su CEO, Juan Silenzi, las posibilidades que tiene la aerolínea de cubrir la ruta Mar del Plata—Termas de Río Hondo con frecuencias diarias. LASA Líneas Aéreas con base en el Aeropuerto de Neuquén, en la Región Patagonia, está formando otro hub de distribución en Mar del Plata. Termas de Río Hondo es, hasta ahora, la única ciudad del Norte Argentino con la cual tendría conexión directa.

Recientemente en las ciudades de Comodoro Rivadavia y Neuquén, se ha instalado con sus bases de operaciones que conectará la amplia geografía del sur argentino e incluso con frecuencias a Temuco y Puerto Montt, en Chile. Para ello anunció y presentó públicamente el avión que utilizará: el jet Embraer ERJ-145, avión que es utilizado en 36 aerolíneas en el mundo y en 26 países. De tal forma y las nuevas presencias de vuelos, en especial en San Carlos de Bariloche, ha significado un incremento de opciones para viajar en tan extensa geografía.

Desde la Gobernación de Santiago del Estero sostuvieron: “Es una excelente noticia que se suma a las concreciones que ha tenido Santiago del Estero capital durante Julio 2018 con el inicio de vuelos de FlyBondi y el reinicio de vuelos de temporada de Andes Líneas Aéreas en Termas de Río Hondo”.

Avianca ratificó el interés de unir Córdoba—Termas de Río Hondo con proyección de inicio de operaciones en Octubre/Noviembre 2018. Avianca tiene autorizadas por el Ministerio de Transporte de la Nación las rutas Córdoba—Termas de Río Hondo, con tres frecuencias semanales, y Córdoba—Santiago, de lunes a viernes, por lo que solo restaría analizar entre las partes el acuerdo de cooperación que de inicio a los vuelos.

LASA, por su parte, solicitó el 23 Julio 2018 pasado a la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC). LASA Líneas Aéreas ha sostenido comenzar a operar la ruta Mar del Plata—Termas de Río Hondo, pero no definiendo una fecha definida.

Avianca Argentina autorizada a volar charters a Brasil

Avianca Argentina (Avian Líneas Aéreas), obtuvo autorización de la Agencia Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC) de Argentina para la realización de vuelos no regulares a Brasil. La decisión fue publicada el Lunes 23 Julio 2018 en el Boletín Oficial.

La ANAC Argentina ha comunicado que para Septiembre 2018, Avianca tiene previsto iniciar Buenos Aires—Sao Paulo en temporada estival con servicios charters. La puesta a punto para vuelos regurales está proyectada para 2019, donde la aerolínea deberá recibir la autorización para esos vuelos. Además incorporará una frecuencia regular a Porto Alegre, Brasil.

Avianca vuela a Malargüe

Avianca Argentina retomó sus vuelos chárter hacia la provincia de Mendoza. Los servicios unen Aeroparque con el Aeropuerto de Malargüe. Estos vuelos son muy buscados en temporada de invierno, por su cercanía con el complejo de esquí de Las Leñas, uno de los lugares favoritos por los porteños para disfrutar de este deporte de nieve. Este sería el segundo año consecutivo en que la aerolínea ofrece este servicio. Las frecuencias a Mendoza funcionarán los fines de semana de Julio/Agosto, con una frecuencia (1WF) que dependerá de la demanda. La ruta será cubierta con aviones ATR 72-600 que tienen una capacidad para transportar hasta 72 pasajeros.

Desde el inicio de las operaciones de Avianca Argentina el año pasado ha ido incorporando rutas regulares que incluyen cuatro ciudades en Argentina. Desde su Hub de Buenos Aires (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery) vuela a Mar del Plata, Reconquista, Rosario y Santa Fe. Avianca a anunciado la proyección de diecinueve destinos domésticos.

Avianca Argentina authorized to fly charters to Brazil

Avianca Argentina (Avian Lineas Aéreas), obtained authorization from the National Agency of Civil Aviation (ANAC) of Argentina for non-scheduled flights to Brazil. The decision was published on Monday 23 July 2018 in the Official Gazette.

The ANAC Argentina has announced that by September 2018, Avianca plans to start Buenos Aires-Sao Paulo in summer season with charters services. The set-up for scheduled flights is projected for 2019, where the airline must receive authorization for those flights. It will also incorporate a regular frequency to Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Avianca flies to Malargüe

Avianca Argentina resumed its charter flights to the province of Mendoza. The services link Aeroparque with Malargüe Airport. These flights are very sought after in the winter season, due to its proximity to the ski resort of Las Leñas, one of the favorite places for porteños to enjoy this sport of snow. La nueva start-up Cambodia Airways efectúa vuelo inaugural

Cambodia Airways inició sus operaciones comerciales uniendo su primer vuelo entre Camboya y Macau el 21 Julio 2018.

Según el representante, las primeras cuatro cargas de vuelo entre la ciudad y varios destinos camboyanos estaban completas. Esta es la primera ruta internacional para Cambodia Airways. La compañía ha lanzado operaciones para la ruta de vuelo de Macao desde tres ciudades importantes de Camboya, a saber, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh y Sihanoukville.

Otra aerolínea camboyana, Camboya Bayon Airlines Co. Ltd. una subsidiaria de propiedad total de Joy Air Holdings y Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), había expresado previamente sus ambiciones de expandirse internacionalmente.
