GOL Linhas Aéreas ha inaugurado el Martes 18 de Octubre de 2022 sus vuelos entre las ciudades de São Paulo/Guarulhos/GRU—Santo Ângelo/GEL, en la región noroeste de Rio Grande do Sul (RG). En ambos aeropuertos, GOL realizó eventos inaugurales en asociación con la Asociación de Municipios de Misión (AMM), que reúne a 26 ubicaciones pertenecientes a las Rutas de la Misión. Además de un centro regional económicamente importante, Santo Ângelo es la puerta de entrada a una de las principales atracciones turísticas del Estado: las Rutas de la Misión, que ofrecen itinerarios religiosos, culturales, históricos y gastronómicos en todo el noroeste de Rio Grande do Sul.

Un séquito de 30 autoridades de municipios como Santo Ângelo (la ciudad más grande de la región de las Misiones), São Miguel das Missões, São Nicolau, São Borja, Sete de Setembro y Caibaté, entre otros, participaron en el corte de cinta del nuevo vuelo GOL en Guarulhos/GRU, junto con representantes de la compañía, como el Comandante Alberto Fajerman, Asesor de la Presidencia, y Renzo Mello, Director de Canales de Venta de GOL Linhas Aéreas. «Conectar todos los rincones de Brasil es un gran logro para GOL y hoy inauguramos con mucha alegría los vuelos de Guarulhos a Santo Ângelo, en Rio Grande do Sul. A partir de ahora, viajará directamente con nosotros a la región de las Misiones. Habrá tres vuelos semanales con la practicidad, comodidad y puntualidad que ya conoces. Gracias por ser parte de este momento histórico. Pronto, comenzaremos a abordar este vuelo pionero», expresó la compañía aérea en un mensaje que permite extender nuevos servicios en la región sur de Brasil.

A la cabeza de la tripulación del vuelo inaugural estaban dos empleados de GOL que son ciudadanos legítimos de la región: el Comandante Adriano Castanho y el Copiloto Mateus Rodrigues, ambos nacidos en São Miguel das Missões. Todos los pasajeros que abordaron el primer vuelo a Santo Ângelo recibieron de la compañía una etiqueta de bolsa GOL, de cuero, como brindis conmemorativo. Tanto la comitiva gaucha como los clientes de GOL en el vuelo G3-1196 Guarulhos/GRU-Santo Ângelo/GEL, que despegó el 18/10 a las 15:45 horas, fueron recibidos en el Aeropuerto Santo Ângelo/Sepé Tiaraju en la tradición más genuina de las Misiones, con un generoso Café Cambona ofrecido por el Municipio de São Nicolau, dedicado a ellos y a la prensa invitada. También hubo presentaciones culturales típicas de la región. Luego, el vuelo inaugural G3-1197, de Santo Ângelo a Guarulhos, con despegue a las 06:10 p.m., también contó con un corte de la pista inaugural y pronunciamientos de autoridades, como el Gobernador de Rio Grande do Sul, Ranolfo Vieira Júnior, y el Ejecutivo de GOL Ciro Camargo, Gerente de Relaciones Gubernamentales. También estuvieron presentes Luís Gustavo de Souza, Secretario de Infraestructura de Rio Grando do Sul, y Leandro Taborda, Director de Aeropuertos DAP-RS. Los clientes han recibido una etiqueta de bolsa GOL.

Entre el 18 y el 29 de Octubre de 2022, la aerolínea desarrollará tres frecuencias semanales (3Frq/S), el vuelo G3-1196 sale de São Paulo/Guarulhos a las 03:45 pm y aterriza en el Aeropuerto Santo Ângelo/Sepé Tiaraju a las 05:30 pm. El G3-1197 sale de la ciudad de Santo Ângelo/Sepé Tiaraju a las 06:10 pm y aterriza en São Paulo/Guarulhos a las 07:55 pm. Tanto el ida y vuelta como el regreso son los Martes, Jueves y Sábados. A partir del 1 de Noviembre de 2022, el flujo de ida y vuelta se llevará a cabo igualmente por la tarde hasta la noche, pero con cambios de horarios. Los vuelos son operados con el moderno avión Boeing 737-700, con una capacidad de 138 pasajeros.

Hasta 2021, GOL mantuvo operaciones en tres ciudades del Estado de Rio Grande do Sul: Porto Alegre, Caxias do Sul y Passo Fundo. Solo en 2022, inauguró dos nuevas bases en el estado, en Pelotas el 17 de Enero de 2022, volando también el Boeing 737-700, y Uruguaiana el 26 de Abril de 2022, con vuelos operados por el socio VoePass Linhas Aéreas, que utiliza aeronaves ATR 72-600, con capacidad para 68 pasajeros, al servicio de GOL.

Después de Santo Ângelo, la ciudad de Santa María (RS) será el cuarto y nuevo destino en recibir los vuelos de la Compañía, a partir del 1 de Noviembre de 2022, también en asociación con VoePass. Habrá, en total, siete localidades servidas por GOL Linhas Aérea en Rio Grande do Sul, expandiendo a más destinos en la tierra gaucha.

O G3-1197 sai da cidade de Santo Ângelo/Sepé Tiaraju às 18h10 e aterrissa em São Paulo/Guarulhos às 19h55. Tanto a ida quanto a volta são às Terças, Quintas e Sábados. A partir de 1 de Novembro de 2022, o fluxo de ida e volta será realizado igualmente no período da tarde até a noite, mais com alterações nos horários. Os vôos são operados com a moderna aeronave Boeing 737-700, com capacidade para 138 passageiros.

Aerolíneas Argentinas alcanza 91% tráfico pre-pandemia

El Secretario de Transporte de Argentina, Diego Giuliano, señaló el Lunes 17/10 que el sistema aerocomercial en Argentina ha transportado en los últimos doce meses más de 28,5 millones de pasajeros con Aerolíneas Argentinas alcanzando un desarrollo del 91% del tráfico de pasajeros a niveles pre-pandemia. «En los últimos doce meses hemos movilizado en nuestro sistema aéreo más de 28,5 millones de pasajeros y nuestra línea de bandera, en promedio, ya está transportando el 91% de lo que trasladaba antes de la pandemia. Ese crecimiento está fuertemente impulsado por el sector doméstico, con una recuperación del 97%, con el sector internacional creciendo más lentamente en un 63% y el regional con un 77%», expresó Diego Giuliano en el 18° Foro de la Asociación de Aerolíneas Latinoamericanas y el Caribe (ALTA) en Buenos Aires.

Además comentó acerca del aumento del tráfico de pasajeros doméstico en Argentina: «Estamos acompañando ese crecimiento de tráfico aéreo con obras de infraestructura, en los aeropuertos de Posadas, La Pampa, San Juan, Santa Fe, Mendoza, Jujuy, Ezeiza, Bariloche e Iguazú. En lo que resta del año se están ejecutando obras en quince terminales aéreas, con nueve pistas nuevas, diez calles de rodaje, dieciséis balizamientos para el mejoramiento de las operaciones, y son obras que no se limitan solamente a la ciudad o a la provincia de Buenos Aires, sino que son totalmente federales».

Destacó finalmente que «las políticas se aplican a todas las aerolíneas que operan en el país, las tradicionales y las denominadas low cost, que han estado creciendo en los últimos tiempos, tanto en pasajeros transportados, como en aviones que incorporan a sus flotas. A punto tal que en los últimos nueve meses han logrado un crecimiento de 167% con respecto al mismo período del año pasado».

El encuentro del Foro ALTA 2022 es considerado como el foro más importante de la industria aerocomercial de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, y cuenta con la participación de quinientos ejecutivos que discuten acerca de cómo abordar los desafíos actuales y cómo prepararse para el futuro del transporte aéreo. Se inició el domingo con paneles y contactos con la prensa de parte de algunos de los participantes, pero formalmente se inauguró el Martes 18/10 con la realización de la Asamblea Anual Regional. Diego Giuliano saludó la realización de este Foro en Buenos Aires, al que definió como «mucho más que un encuentro, es un lugar de diálogo, para discutir, opinar e intercambiar, sobre uno de los temas que ha atravesado toda nuestra actividad, que es la actividad aérea en este tiempo histórico en la región y en el mundo, y avanzar en acciones concretas para lograr una aviación más económica, más eficiente y más sostenible. La aparición de la COVID-19 en el invierno boreal de 2020, marcó un punto de inflexión que se tradujo en un gran impacto en todo medio de transporte, pero sobre todo en la industria aérea, lo que luego, sumado a la guerra en Europa que todavía padecemos, significó un enorme desafío».

El Ministro de Turismo, Matías Lammens, quien se refirió a los desafíos que enfrenta la actividad aérea en Argentina, luego de haber padecido las consecuencias de la Covid-19: «Cuando asumimos en 2019 teníamos la expectativa por el turismo en el país, pero la llegada de la pandemia trastocó todos los objetivos. No obstante, el Estado hizo el esfuerzo de sostener los sueldos del sector», remarcó el ministro. Resaltó la importancia de la implementación del programa «PreViaje en la recuperación del sector turístico, que en su primera edición contó con la participación de más de 6 millones de personas e involucró a 35 empresas, entre ellas las tres aerolíneas que operan nuestro cabotaje». Afirmó además que se llevan invertidos más de US$ 35 millones, y afirmó que «para el año próximo tenemos previsto invertir, con financiamiento del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), US$ 33 millones para seguir potenciando la infraestructura de nuestros destinos».

La apertura de la Asamblea estuvo a cargo del Director Ejecutivo de Avianca, Adrián Neuhauser, elegido el Lunes 17/10 como nuevo Presidente del Comité Ejecutivo de ALTA, quien se refirió a la recuperación que está llevando adelante América Latina en el movimiento de pasajeros. Aunque advirtió que «recuperar el 100% del tráfico que teníamos en la prepandemia, no es suficiente. Necesitamos seguir creciendo. Hoy viajar no es un lujo, sino algo esencial y tenemos que estar preparados como industria para enfrentar este desafío», argumentó Adrián Neuhauser. Definió a América Latina «como una región pobre, con cuestiones económicas complejas en los diferentes países, lo que nos impone retos que no son menores». Además, se pronunció por avanzar en la búsqueda del Carbono Cero para el 2050, para lo cual sostuvo que la región necesita prepararse convenientemente para poder producir combustible sustentable.

La Justicia española ha anunciado que no investigará el caso del accidente aéreo del Vuelo DMJ-972 del Boeing 737-200 estrellado en Cuba en el año 2018 en el que fallecieron 113 personas.
