IndiGo planea expandirse a Vietnam y China

JetSmart Airlines Chile inaugurará operaciones en Aeropuerto Carriel Sur en Concepción

JetSmart Airlines inaugura el primer complejo de este tipo regionalmente, ofreciendo vuelos desde la Región del Biobío a Arica, Balmaceda y Punta Arenas, lo que permitirá aumentar la generación de empleos en la Región del Biobío y facilitar la apertura de rutas internacionales.

El Ministerio de Transportes de Chile a cargo de Gloria Hutt, encabezó la ceremonia de inauguración de la nueva base de operaciones de la aerolínea JetSmart en el Aeropuerto Carriel Sur de Concepción dando inicio de vuelos directos domésticos a partir de Diciembre 2019 en las rutas Concepción–Arica; Concepción–Balmaceda y Concepción–Punta Arenas.

JetSmart contará con una tripulación permanente en la región, ya que todas las operaciones comenzarán y terminarán en el Aeropuerto Carriel Sur. La terminal aérea sumará una importante labor como hub de distribución de servicios de rutas conectando ocho destinos a lo largo del país, como así también se realizará mantenimiento técnico/mecánico a las aeronaves, sin necesidad de hacerlo en Santiago de Chile.

Desde la cartera de Transporte de Chile expresaron: “Tenemos que seguir trabajando para poner a Chile en marcha y la democratización del transporte aéreo y esta inauguración, es una señal clara de la descentralización que queremos promover en este sector. Gracias a esta nueva base de operaciones, Carriel Sur se posiciona como un trascendente polo aeronáutico, lo que permitirá mejorar la conectividad de todos quienes viven en la zona sur, el desarrollo de la economía local y el turismo en la región”, afirmó Gloria Hutt.

Vuelos al exterior

Southwest Airlines ha iniciado migración de vuelos hacia Hub Aeropuerto LaGuardia
