JetSmart Airlines Argentina comenzó la etapa de vuelos internacionales inaugurando la ruta Buenos Aires-Santiago de Chile. El primer vuelo WJ3010 de la aerolínea ultra low cost JetSmart Argentina, partió el pasado 16 Abril 2019 del Aeropuerto Internacional El Palomar (EPA) de Buenos Aires con destino a Santiago de Chile (SCL) a las 15:01 hs arribando al Aeropuerto de Santiago de Chile a las 15:45 hora local y el horario programado fue a las 16:05. El tiempo de vuelo fue de 1 hora y 45 minutos. El horario de regreso esta programado para las 11:03 del día 17 de abril de 2019 con el vuelo WJ3011. Nos informaron fuentes en Santiago de Chile, que se le hizo un chequeo semanal, por eso salió en el día siguiente.

El día 17 Abril 2019 el vuelo WJ3011 despegó a las 11:20 hs del Aeropuerto Internacional Nuevo Pudahuel de Santiago de Chile, con hora programada de arribo al Aeropuerto El Palomar de Buenos Aires a las 14:00 hs, donde su horario real fue 13:51 hs, con un tiempo de vuelo de 01:32 minutos.

El avión utilizado es un Airbus 320CEO con capacidad para transportar 186 pasajeros, el cual posee un livery que pasea por los cielos y aeropuertos a un ave cardenal, cuya matrícula es LV-IVO. Con este vuelo, JetSmart Argentina se convierte en la segunda aerolínea low cost con operaciones internacionales.

JetSmart Mendoza-Tucumán

JetSmat Argentina incirporará una nueva ruta federal que unirá Mendoza-Tucumán. El próximo Lunes 6 Mayo 2019 habrá vuelos directos entre Mendoza y Tucumán con la aerolínea low cost JetSmart Argentina. Estos vuelos permmitirán desarrollar un sistema más federal sin pasar por Buenos Aires, inclusive ni por Córdoba. La nueva ruta estará explorada por aeronaves Airbus A320CEO con dos frecuencias semanales (2Fq/S).

La aerolínea low cost informó además que tienen planificado incorporar vuelos en las siguientes rutas Tucumán-Córdoba y Tucumán-Buenos Aires.

La aerolínea Silkair inicia nueva ruta hacia Busan, Korea del Sur

SilkAir lanzó sus primeros vuelos a Korea del Sur con un servicio sin escalas entre Singapur y el popular puerto marítimo de Busan. La aerolínea feeder de Singapore Airlines, Silkair es la única aerolínea que opera la ruta y está sirviendo a Busan con una frecuencia de cuatro veces por semana con aeronaves Boeing 737-800 con una duración de seis horas y media, permitiendo un servicio completo que incluye comidas durante el vuelo, entretenimiento inalámbrico, admisión de equipaje de cortesía y registro de entrada si se conectan a través de Singapur.

Delta Air Lines amplia vuelos al Caribe y México

Delta Air Lines ha proyectado nuevos servicios aéreos ampliando sus frecuencias al Caribe y México para fines de 2019 y principios de 2020. A partir del 21 Diciembre 2019, Delta ampliará su servicio sólo de sábado a los vuelos diarios de temporada de invierno entre su Aeropuerto Metropolitano de Detroit y dos destinos en el Caribe, incluido el Aeropuerto Internacional Sangster en Montego Bay, Jamaica y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Punta Cana en la República Dominicana.
