Latam Airlines, única aerolínea en unir sin escala Latinoamérica con Australia

Latam Airlines Group realizó el pasado 05 de octubre 2017, su vuelo inaugural entre Santiago de Chile—Melbourne (Australia), convirtiéndose en la única aerolínea en unir sin escala Latinoamérica con el nuevo destino.

El tramo de ida, correspondiente a la ruta Santiago—Melbourne, con más de 11.000 kms de distancia, durará más de 15 horas y será el más largo en la historia de Latam Airlines. La compañía operará 3 veces por semana entre las 2 ciudades.

Latam Airlines actualmente opera siete vuelos semanales desde Santiago a Sydney (vía Auckland en Nueva Zelanda). Desde 2015, este vuelo es operado en un Boeing 787-9, lo que aumentó la capacidad en 27%.

En total, Latam Airlines transporta aproximadamente 190.000 pasajeros entre Latinoamérica y Asia-Pacífico. Con este vuelo, LATAM estima que sumará 77.000 pasajeros anuales adicionales entre los continentes.

El vuelo LA805 de Latam Airlines Group despegará desde Santiago (SCL) a las 13:30 (hora local) los días lunes, jueves y sábado, llegando a Melbourne (MEL) a las 18:40 (hora local) del día siguiente, con un viaje de 15 horas y 10 minutos. En tanto, el vuelo de regreso será el LA804, y despegará desde Melbourne a las 20:40 (hora local) los días martes, viernes y domingos, llegando a Santiago a las 19:55 el mismo día (hora local), con una duración de 13 horas y 15 minutos.

El vuelo será operado en un Boeing 787-9 de la compañía, avión que cuenta con 220 asientos en clase Economy, 54 asientos en clase Space +, y 30 asientos en clase Premium Business, reclinables 180°. Todos los asientos cuentan con un sistema de entretenimiento a bordo digital con tecnología touchscreen, con una amplia selección de películas, series, música y juegos. Pasajeros que vuelen en Premium Business podrán disfrutar de servicios adicionales en aeropuerto como acceso y embarque preferente, así como un nuevo menú y carta de vinos a bordo con productos de Latinoamérica.

Ethiopian Airlines confirmaría anunciar la próxima extensión del servicio Addis Abeba—Sao Paulo con escala final Buenos Aires

Ethiopian Airlines y el Ministerio de Turismo argentino, estarían formalizando el arribo de la aerolínea africana por primera vez con vuelos regulares a Buenos Aires.

El Ministerio del Turismo de Argentina había comunicado que la aerolínea etíope tenía intención de volar a la capital argentina durante el segundo semestre de 2017. Ethiopian Airlines anunció los su arribo a Buenos Aires a partir del 2 de diciembre de 2017 con cinco frecuencias semanales los lunes, miércoles, jueves, sábado y domingo. en su ruta incorporará aviones de última tecnología, Boeing 787-8 «Dreamliner», conf una configuración de 270 asientos en dos clases.

El vuelo saldría de Addis Abeba (Etiopía) a las 09:15 hs para llegar a Guarulhos (Brasil) a las 16.55 hs. Despegaría a las 18:15 hs hacia Buenos Aires, arribando a las 20:45 hs. El regreso partiría de Ezeiza a las 23:20 hs, llegando a Guarulhos a las 01:40 hs y retornaría a la capital de Etiopía, a las 19:30 hs.

Azul Linhas Aéreas incorpora nuevos destino en Argentina: Rosario y Córdoba

Azul Líneas Aéreas confirmó los tres nuevos destinos internacionales para los que volará desde la capital pernambucana: Fort Lauderdale, en Estados Unidos, y Rosario y Córdoba, en Argentina.

Vuelos internacionales

Azul Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado la incorporación de dos nuevos destinos para Argentina: Rosario y Córdoba. Los vuelos semanales con salidas los sábados cubriendo la ruta Recife-Rosario y Recife-Córdoba. los detalles de los horarios y escales no están confirmadas. La operación de la ruta será con equipo Airbus A320NEO.

En cuanto a los vuelos a Fort Lauderdale, tendrán dos frecuenciaas semanales directos desde Recife, capital del Estado de Pernambuco. La asignación de la ruta estará servida por el Airbus A330-200.

Air Mediterranean Airlines de Grecia lanzará servicio sin escalas entre Atenas y Estocolmo

El Aeropuerto internacional de Eleftherios Venizelos (Grecia) y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Estocolmo Arlanda (Suecia) tendrá vuelo directo por el transportista aéreo Air Mediterranean Airlines.

La aerolínea griega está lanzando siete nuevas rutas internacionales simultáneamente. El viaje inaugural entre Atenas y Estocolmo está previsto para el 2 de noviembre 2017, y habrá salidas cuatro días a la semana, según el aeropuerto de Estocolmo Arlanda.

Azul Linhas Aéreas inaugura nuevos vuelos internacionales desde Aeropuerto Recife

Recife y Azul Líneas Aéreas conmemoran un año de la asociación que colocó la capital pernambucana como centro nacional de la aerolínea de David Neeleman. Para celebrar la marca, se anunciarán tres nuevos destinos internacionales saliendo de la ciudad, además de nuevas frecuencias nacionales y rutas regionales.

La única aerolínea nacional de Tonga, Real Tonga Airlines, iniciará un nuevo servicio internacional a Samoa, a principios de noviembre de 2017

El servicio será operado por un avión de 34 asientos SAAB 340 para volar entre Tonga y Apia una vez por semana, con conexión con la Isla de Fiji proyectado para más adelante.

Tevita Palu, propietario de la aerolínea y director general anunciado el 4 de octubre, las tarifas aéreas ofrecidas serían menos de la mitad de los costos actuales, lo que hará que los viajes sean asequibles. Dijo que la aerolínea ha recibido la aprobación de la Aviación Civil del Ministerio de Infraestructura para las operaciones de Tonga a Samoa y Fiji. «El paso de las operaciones domésticas a las internacionales requiere unos requisitos de seguridad más estrictos y la aerolínea ha tenido que demostrar competencia».

Un vuelo de prueba entre Tonga y Samoa se completó con éxito a principios de agosto, lo que llevaba a bordo un inspector de la Oficina de seguridad operacional del Pacífico (PASO), offcials del departamento de Aviación Civil y personal de la aerolínea.

Real Tonga Airlines to start flights Tonga-Vava’u-Apia

Tonga’s sole national carrier, Real Tonga Airlines, will start a new international service to Samoa in early November 2017

The service will be operated by a 34-seat SAAB 340 aircraft to fly between Tonga and Apia once a week, with connection to the Fiji Island projected for later.

Tevita Palu, the airline’s owner and CEO announced Oct. 4, air fares offered would be less than half the current costs, making travel affordable. He said the airline has received approval from the Civil Aviation Ministry of Infrastructure for the operations of Tonga to Samoa and Fiji. «The move from domestic to international operations requires stricter security requirements and the airline has had to demonstrate competition.»

A test flight between Tonga and Samoa was successfully completed in early August, carrying an inspector from the Pacific Safety Office (PASO), offcials of the Civil Aviation Department and airline personnel.

As for the investment, he said while they had to update their internal procedures, they also spent substantial amounts of money on improvements and modifications required to their aircraft.

The service to Apia will be directed through Vava’u to provide this service to the people, as well as the convenience and exciting addition to their tourist infrastructure. Sky Airline ha iniciado hoy operaciones entre Santiago de Chile y Rosario

Sky Airline es la primera low cost en comenzar a volar desde el Aeropuerto internacional Rosario. La aerolínea conectará estas dos ciudades tres veces a la semana. De esta manera incorpora otra ruta en Argentina. Córdoba, Mendoza y Buenos Aires son los otros destinos.

El vuelo inaugural arribará hoy al Aeropuerto Internacional Rosario procedente de Santiago de Chile a las 15:10 hs y despegará a las 15:40 hs rumbo a la capital chilena. Las frecuencias directas serán desde el Aeropuerto Rosario los martes a las 15:40 hs, jueves 15.20 hs y domingo 18:20 hs; mientras que los arribos desde Santiago se producirán a las 15:10, 14:50 y 17:50 hs, respectivamente. El tiempo de vuelo será de aproximadamente 01:40 hs.

Sky Airline es un modelo low cost con precios competitivos. El tramo tiene un valor de U$D52 dólares por tramo (Rosario-Santiago o viceversa), más las tasas de embarque desde Aeropuerto Rosario de U$D69 dólares y en Chile, U$D30 dólares más servicios adicionales de la aerolínea. Curiosamente para esta tarifa el valor de ticket es menor a la tasa aeroportuaria, algo inexplicable y fuera de lógica.

La tarifa «light» da derecho a un equipaje de mano de 10 kilos y un asiento aleatorio. Una valija en bodega de hasta 23 kilos tiene un costo adicional de U$D16 dólares más. Un ejemplo ida y vuelta tendría un valor de U$D203 dólares, unos AR$3.500 pesos. La compañía ofrece además promociones en su página web.

La directora comercial de Sky Airline, Carmen Gloria Serrat expresó: «Decidimos abrir la ruta a Rosario porque consideramos que es un destino que tiene proyección». El primer vuelo ha cumplido las expectativas de venta cubriendo un 80% de ocupación. Las demás aerolíneas se han tenido que ajustar al ingreso de nuevos operadores en el mercado de Rosario.

La compañía Gol Linhas Aéreas conectará con tres frecuencias semanales

Gol retomará a partir de diciembre tres vuelos semanales entre Montevideo—Porto Alegre. Según informó la empresa aérea, los vuelos serán con aviones Boeing 737-800. La conexión comenzará a operar desde el 16 de diciembre los martes, jueves y sábados.

Con estos vuelos, la compañía suma opciones de conectividad con localidades brasileñas para la próxima temporada al igual que la aerolínea Azul. Esta empresa también anunció que unirá las ciudades de Campinhas y Porto Alegre con Punta del Este entre el 21 de diciembre y el 4 de febrero. La ruta se realizará todos los jueves y domingos con aeronaves Embraer 190.

Corrientes tendrá un vuelo a Asunción desde noviembre 2017

Amaszonas iniciará tres vuelos semanales, los martes y jueves a las 14:40 hs y los domingos a las 15:30 hs. La ruta será directa y no incluirá a otras ciudades. Tras más de 12 años sin este servicio, el primer avión a la capital paraguaya saldrá el 2 de noviembre.

Luego de una etapa de análisis en la que se estudiaron varias posibilidades, Amaszonas comenzará a explotar la ruta aérea Corrientes-Asunción (Paraguay), sumando un nuevo vuelo que llegará al aeropuerto Piragine Niveyro. El primer avión de la empresa Amaszonas partirá hacia Paraguay el próximo 2 de noviembre. De acuerdo a lo previsto, esta aerolínea operará en el aeropuerto local tres veces a la semana, brindando una nueva alternativa de traslado a Paraguay. “El servicio va a ser los martes, jueves y domingos”, adelantó Aquino en diálogo con este matutino. Entre semana, el horario de salida será a las 14:40 hs y los domingos sería a las 15:30 hs.

Otra ruta inaugurada es Trelew—El Calafate. Austral Líneas Aéreas inauguró formalmente este viernes una nueva ruta aérea entre Trelew, Chubut, y El Calafate, Santa Cruz. El nuevo vuelo está disponible los lunes, miércoles y viernes con aeronaves Embraer 190-100AR, con capacidad para 96 pasajeros. Las partidas están programadas a las 10:15 hs desde el Aeropuerto Internacional «Almirante Marcos A. Zar» de Trelew, con arribos estimados al mediodía en el Aeropuerto Internacional «Comandante Armando Tola» de El Calafate. Los regresos parten esos mismos días desde Calafate a las 16:00 hs y arriban a Trelew a las 17:30 hs.
