Celebración 9º Convenio de aviación comercial africana
La Asociación Africana de Aerolíneas (AFRAA) ha celebrado el 9º Convenio sobre partes interesadas en la aviación con una alineación sobre las prioridades para la recuperación eficiente de la industria del transporte aéreo en África. El evento, que se celebró en formato virtual contando con la presencia de 538 participantes de la industria del transporte aéreo y la fraternidad en África y en todo el mundo.

Se hizo un llamamiento para una mayor colaboración y aceleración de los esfuerzos colectivos entre las partes interesadas con los Estados e instituciones financieras instadas a proporcionar apoyo financiero a la industria de viajes. Organizado por el Ministerio y la Cámara Argentina de Turismo, el Congreso también cuenta con el acompañamiento del Instituto Nacional de Promoción Turística (Inprotur), el Consejo Federal de Turismo (CFT) y Aerolíneas Argentinas.
Los ejes del Congreso CITA abarcarán cuestiones tales como economía, consumo, formación y empleo, integración regional e internacional, sustentabilidad, inclusión, género, innovación y digitalización. Actualmente hay más de 2.000 personas inscriptas. En ese contexto, el Ministro de Turismo y Deportes de la República Argentina, Matías Lammens destacó que, tras la pandemia, el turismo “seguirá incrementando su participación en el PBI nacional, una tarea conjunta de los ámbitos público y privado para sostener la actividad en momentos difíciles”. Las acciones instrumentadas desde el Estado serán para acompañar al sector durante las restricciones requeridas por la pandemia. “La pandemia vino a confirmar que la Argentina tiene un enorme potencial turístico. El Viernes 29/04 se celebró la sexta reunión para la implementación del Plan Nacional de Conservación del Monumento Natural Yaguareté, de la que participaron la secretaria de Política Ambiental en Recursos Naturales, Florencia Gómez, la vicepresidenta de la Administración de Parques Nacionales (APN), Natalia Jauri, y el director regional NEA de la APN, Juan Garibaldi. Además, estuvieron presentes técnicos y autoridades del Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible de la Nación, de Parques Nacionales y de las provincias de Salta, Jujuy, Formosa y Santiago del Estero; junto a miembros de la sociedad civil a través del proyecto «Yaguareté cuidado compartido».
Desde la cartera de Ambiente y la APN se anunciaron inversiones en recursos para el manejo de la especie, tales como cámaras trampas, collares y GPS, y más de AR$ 50 millones de Pesos para la construcción de dos centros operativos en Parques Nacionales con presencia del yaguareté. También se acordaron líneas de trabajo con Cancillería para la articulación en torno al manejo de esta especie con países limítrofes.

The event will bring together 60 representatives of airlines operating in Latin America and 200 members of supplier companies in the industry. “We do not imagine that an industry that would take off in January to achieve 5% growth this year, would remain on the ground for so many months, falling back to the levels of passenger traffic we had in 2008, in global figures. And, in a few months, at the traffic levels we had in the 1970s at the regional level. After 16 years of uninterrupted growth, in 2019 we were able to connect Latin America with all regions of the world for the first time.
