Aerolíneas Argentinas ha programado seis vuelos especiales para la primera etapa y un programa de nuevos vuelos que se irían confirmando a medida que el equipo de la Selección de Futbol Argentina avance hacia las siguientes fase de clasificación. La programación de los primeros vuelos fueron establecidos para los días 19, 20 y 23 de Noviembre de 2022, mientras que los nuevos vuelos programados son para el 24, 27 y 28/11 y para el 01/12. Las operaciones de los vuelos especiales se realizan en aeronaves Airbus 330-200 con capacidad para 270 pasajeros. La ruta Buenos Aires/EZE—Doha/DIA demanda alrededor de diecinueve horas de vuelo, con una escala de una hora en Roma/FCO.
El Gobierno de Argentina ha informado que alrededor de 40.000 argentinos viajarán al Mundial de Qatar 2022 para disfrutar de los diferentes partidos de la Copa Mundial de Futbol. “En general se suelen ver movimientos más cerca de la última fecha de la primera fase, que es cuando se definen los próximos pasos de la Selección”, sostuvo la agencia Despegar.

La región ofrece paisajes imperdibles, destinos exóticos y naturaleza que todo amante de los viajes debe darse la chance de conocer”, dijo Alejandro Herrasti, líder de aéreos de Despegar en Argentina y Uruguay.

Después del boom de los días previos al debut y luego de la derrota argentina, se frenaron las consultas para viajar a Qatar. Las aerolíneas y agencias de turismo aguardan que las consultas vuelvan a crecer la próxima semana, más cerca de la definición de la fase de grupos. La derrota de la Selección argentina en el Mundial de Qatar ante Arabia Saudita no sólo marcó un punto negativo para miles de hinchas, argentinos y del mundo que alientan a la camiseta albiceleste, sino que también amenaza con ser un golpe al negocio del turismo mundialista.
Según datos que había compartido Despegar días atrás, las búsquedas a Qatar habían aumentado en un 173% con respecto a la semana anterior. Por su parte, desde Turismocity dijeron que las búsquedas de vuelos entre Doha y Buenos Aires se habían disparado registrando un aumento importante en las consultas la semana pasada. Tras la derrota de la Selección, ambas expresaron que las búsquedas para viajar hacia Qatar están, claramente, más bajas que días anteriores. Mientras tanto, las agencias y la aerolínea continuarán expectantes para determinar cuántos vuelos se programarán para la Copa Mundial Qatar 2022.

Air Serbia reiniciará ruta Belgrado—Chicago después de 30 años
La aerolínea Air Serbia ha anunciado planes para reanudar los vuelos entre Belgrado/BEG y Chicago/ORD después de treinta años. Lanzará rutas desde Heathrow a Maldivas y Turcas y Caicos
Virgin Atlantic Airways ha anunciado nuevos servicios a las Maldivas y las Islas Turcas y Caicos para el invierno de 2023. Breeze Airways objetivo agregar a red vuelos internacionales

Breeze Airways aims to add international flights to the network
The American low-cost airline Breeze Airways is studying to implement flights to foreign markets. After rapidly increasing its domestic flight offerings since its launch in May 2021, the low-cost carrier is now aiming to take passengers a little further afield. Earlier in November 2022, Breeze Commercial Director Lukas Johnson said that the airline is working to obtain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval to operate flights outside the United States. «We are in the process with the FAA of adding flag operations», Johnson said at the Skift Aviation Forum in Dallas on November 16, 2022. A Breeze spokesperson confirmed the airline is planning international service, but said FAA certifications take time, so it’s too early to say when the airline might start operating foreign flights and where they would fly. However, the timing is interesting considering Breeze is the brainchild of JetBlue Airways founder David Neeleman, and low-cost competitor JetBlue is currently in the midst of an international expansion of its own, having recently announced it will add Paris to its flight list after introducing flights to London in 2021.
Breeze Airways’ international aspirations follow a year and a half of rapid expansion in the United States. After flying in May 2021 from 16 destinations, mostly in the eastern and southeastern United States, Breeze now has a network spanning 106 nonstop routes between 35 cities in 20 states, including flights between the East and West coasts for just US$ 104 each way.
The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft equipped with 36 first class seats in a two-by-two configuration and 90 economy seats in a two-by-three layout. Jamaica welcomes the return of the vacation airline Neos Air‘s direct flight from Italy. Jamaica’s air connectivity outside of Europe has received a major boost with the return of direct flights from Milan/Malpensa/MXP Airport in Italy. Andes Líneas Aéreas ha anunciado la conexión de vuelos charters a Cuba desde cuatro ciudades argentinas como parte de los esfuerzos por reiniciar las operaciones aéreas. Además están trabajando personal del área de sistemas de Aerolíneas Argentinas, quienes llevan a cabo las instalaciones de toda la infraestructura de sistemas como la operación de los mostradores, de impresoras de equipajes de borde impasse, gestión de tráfico y la puerta de embarque, entre otros.

Sun Country Airlines announces 15 new destinations for summer 2023 Connections to destinations including beaches and mountains
Sun Country Airlines has announced on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, fifteen (15) new non-stop routes from Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP beginning summer 2023. Twelve new destinations are introduced as the airline continues to expand its network, while also extending its booking hours so customers can now book travel through Labor Day 2023.
Sun Country’s summer time will connect travelers to the mountains of Colorado Springs, the Jersey Shore, the barbecue of Kansas City, the Black Hills and the bourbon country of Louisville, among other destinations. Sun Country will also resume service from Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP to New York/John F. Kennedy/JFK for customers who want additional options for visiting New York City in addition to flying to Newark. Sun Country last flew to JFK in 2019.
Sun Country will add new nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP to Charlotte Douglas International Airport/CLT, Wilmington International Airport in North Carolina/ILM, John Glenn Columbus International Airport/CMH in Ohio, Kansas City International Airport/MCI, Richmond/RIC International Airport in Virginia, Louisville International Airport /SDF, Rapid City Regional Airport/RAP, Colorado Springs Airport/COS, Atlantic City International Airport/ACY, Omaha Eppley Airfield/OMA, Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport/DTW and Cherry Capital Airport/TVC in Traverse City, Michigan.
The airline will also resume nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul/MSP to Mitchell Milwaukee International Airport/MKE and Lambert St. Louis International Airport/STL. Sun Country last flew to Milwaukee/MKE in January 2022 and to St. Louis/STL in October 2021.
