ANA lanza vuelos sostenibles ruta Tokio—San Francisco

All Nippon Airways (ANA) comenzará a operar en su avión ‘Green Jet’, comenzando con la ruta Tokio/Haneda/HND—San Francisco/SFO el 5 de Octubre de 2022. El número de avión JA871A entrará en servicio en rutas internacionales mañana, con un segundo avión para servir rutas nacionales a partir de Noviembre 2022. La superficie de la aeronave cuenta con un material especial de película de costilla efecto aleta de tiburón, desarrollado por Nikon Corporation, que está diseñado para contribuir a la reducción de las emisiones de CO2 a través de la disminución de la resistencia a la fricción del aire durante el vuelo. En el interior, los asientos contarán con fundas de reposacabezas hechas con dos materiales de cuero vegano. El primero es de la start-up Appcycle, que ha desarrollado cuero sintético a partir del residuo de jugo de manzanas cultivadas en la prefectura de Aomori, y el segundo es el cuero artificial granulado ‘Ultrasuede’ de Toray Industries. También habrá iluminación verde y música de fondo que evoca la riqueza de la naturaleza, y las azafatas lucirán delantales diseñados con hojas y motivos de agua.

Aer Lingus lanzará ruta Dublin-Cleveland

Spirit Airlines estrena destino Norfolk en Marzo 2023
Ofrecerá vuelos diarios al sur de Florida

La aerolínea de presupuesto americana Spirit Airlines ha anunciado la incorporación de un nuevo destino hacia Norfolk, en el Estado de Virginia (VA). El nuevo destino tendrá un acceso más conveniente a las rutas vacaciones en Florida por menos de US$ 100 a partir de Marzo 2023 con la adición de Spirit Airlines en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Norfolk/ORF.

Spirit Airlines ofrecerá vuelos diarios sin escalas a Orlando/MCO y Fort Lauderdale/FLL. La aerolínea también ofrecerá opciones para vuelos de conexión a Puerto Rico, América Latina y el Caribe, anunció la compañía el Martes 04/10. Flybondi restablece operaciones a Posadas

La aerolínea low cost Flybondi Líneas Aéreas ha anunciado el restablecimiento de los vuelos al Aeropuerto Posadas/PSS a raíz de la reapertura de las operaciones aerocomerciales. Flybondi informa que retoma sus operaciones a la capital misionera a partir del 5 de Octubre de 2022. La compañía aérea regresa con una frecuencia de cuatro vuelos semanales (4Frq/S) los días Lunes, Miércoles, Viernes y Domingo; y a partir del mes de Diciembre 2022 aumentaría a una frecuencia diaria (1Frq/D) para potenciar la temporada de verano.

El Aeropuerto Posadas/Libertador General José de San Martín/PSS de Posadas estuvo cerrado desde el 15 Julio de 2022 por remodelaciones y reacondicionamientos en diferentes áreas para mejorar la calidad de los servicios hacia el pasajero.

United cancela servicios al Aeropuerto New York/JFK

United Airlines ha venido anunciando la suspensión de sus servicios en el Aeropuerto New York/JFK por razones de que su horario actual en el JFK es demasiado pequeño para ser competitivos con las demás aerolíneas. La aerolínea informó que a finales de este mes estará suspendiendo temporalmente sus vuelos desde y hacia el Aeropuerto New York/JFK. La aerolínea dijo que el inicio de la temporada de invierno ha contribuido con su decisión de suspender, puesto es la época cuando más aerolíneas reanudan sus vuelos en dicho aeropuerto.

United informó que ha tenido conversaciones con la Administración Federal de Aviación (FAA), sobre la expansión de la presencia de la aerolínea en el aeropuerto JFK, donde los vuelos están estrictamente regulados. La agencia se comprometió a realizar mejoras, pero dichos cambios llevarían tiempo, según informó la compañía aérea con sede en Chicago.

Aerolínea low cost argentina inaugurará Buenos Aires—Montevideo

La aerolínea argentina de bajo costo Flybondi Líneas Aéreas incorporará su próxima ruta con vuelos directos entre Buenos Aires/AEP y Montevideo/MVD, según anunció el Ministro de Turismo uruguayo, Tabaré Viera, mientras participaba de la Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina FIT 2022. “Flybondi efectuará vuelos directos entre el Aeroparque Jorge Newbery y el Aeropuerto Internacional de Carrasco, con el inicio de estas operaciones, Uruguay continúa el aumento de su conectividad con la región”, según publicó el Gobierno uruguayo en un comunicado oficial.

Tras el anuncio del Gobierno de Uruguay de la nueva ruta asignada a Montevideo, Flybondi incorpora su segunda conexión regional uruguaya, después de Punta del Este. Actualmente desarrolla otros destinos a Brasil y uno a Asunción del Paraguay.

Primer A350 estrenará ruta Viracopos—Orlando 15/12

Azul Linhas Aéreas ha anunciado el primer vuelo con su nueva aeronave Airbus A350-900 que recibió hace unas semanas atrás. El primer vuelo se encuentra programado para el 15 de Diciembre de 2022 con el vuelo AD8706 que despegará del Aeroporto Internacional Viracopos/VCP a las 09:00 hora local y aterrizará en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Orlando/MCO a las 16:10 hs.

El A350-900 está configurado con una capacidad para 334 pasajeros en una configuración de tres cabinas con 33 asientos en la cabina ejecutiva, 102 Economy Extra y 199 Economy y una economía de combustible de alrededor del 20% por asiento, siendo más eficiente en el consumo de combustible y las emisiones de carbono por asiento en comparación con los aviones de generaciones anteriores.
