The most requested destinations are Córdoba, Mendoza, Iguazú, Bariloche, El Calafate, Ushuaia and Salta. With more than 300,000 scheduled travelers, by the end of the long weekend the airline will have surpassed the number of the 2018 mark, the period before the start of the pandemic. During this weekend, Aerolíneas ordered a special operation with significant increases in the frequency of its flights, operating an average of 253 daily departures, which means between 20 and 25 more flights than on a standard day. Flybondi incrementa Fqr Jujuy

AW | 2022 04 13 14:40 | AIRLINES ROUTES

Flybondi duplicará frecuencias de vuelos a Jujuy

AW-Flybondi__Jujuy

AW-Flybondi_B-Isologotype

Flybondi increases Fqr Jujuy

Flybondi will double the frequency of flights to Jujuy

AW-Flybondi_702 (2)

The Governor of the Province of Jujuy, Gerardo Morales, together with the Minister of Culture and Tourism Federico Posadas, accompanied Mauricio Sana, CEO, and Esteban Tossutti, Director of Public Affairs, both from Flybondi, during the announcement of the increase in frequencies between Buenos AiresAEP —Jujuy. From the month of July 2022 the frequencies will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with two weekly frequencies (2Frq/S) and on Thursday a weekly frequency (1Frq/S).

Governor Gerardo Morales pondered the new challenge of the Argentine budget airline, which is part of a policy to open more routes and improve connectivity throughout the country. The announcement was made at the Casa de Jujuy in Buenos Aires, where Morales thanked the new bet and «I congratulate the company for the work and efficiency it has as an airline and for improving connectivity in Argentina». He concluded by predicting that other companies will join and have Flybondi’s commitment.

For his part, the Minister of Culture and Tourism Federico Posadas indicated that “doubling the frequency will allow us to exceed the 500,000 annual passengers who will pass through the province’s airport in 2022, since before we did not reach 300,000. Today Jujuy has more than 90% occupancy in all travel frequencies, which allowed us to lower rates and thus be competitive with all other destinations. Working with the flag carrier and all the low cost airlines is important because Jujuy was underconnected, and now this greater connectivity guarantees us a higher level of tourists that will be a fundamental factor to continue with the growth that we have been maintaining in recent years”, expressed Federico Posadas.

In turn, the CEO of Flybondi, Mauricio Sana, explained that «basically we are doubling the frequency of flights that depart per week from Jujuy, taking into account a very good result of the four years of operation and we continue betting on the growth of the market. at the provincial and general level of Argentina. Thanks to our growth and investment plan announced in December 2021, today we are flying with 6 weekly frequencies, with very good occupancy levels on the route, and we are going to grow to thirteen”, said Mauricio Sana.
