Croatia Airlines development plans
Croatia Airlines has presented its short-term plans regarding its fleet and air route network development. The airline will lease three planes this summer season, two of which will remain with the airline for the long term. An Airbus A319-100 has been leased for a period of eight years, while a Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 will have a low utilization rate and will be used primarily as a spare, to limit network interruption, by complementing any aircraft that may be out of service for technical reasons. Both planes will be delivered at the end of April 2020. The A319 will have a capacity for 150 passengers, which is a little more than the rest of the A319 fleet of Croatia Airlines since it was previously used by EasyJet. The third plane, a Bombardier CRJ-1000, will be rented only during the summer months from Air Nostrum in Spain.
