El Gobierno de Sao Paulo reanuda Proyecto Aeropuerto de Limeira

El proyecto de Aeropuerto de Limeira tendrá nuevo aporte de R$ 8 millones. La construcción fue suspendida después de que Tribunal Estatal de Cuentas (TCE) juzgar un contrato irregular; la previsión es que las obras se reanudan en hasta seis meses, según el Ejecutivo.

El Ayuntamiento de Limeira (SP) firmó un convenio con el gobierno federal para la reanudación de las obras del aeropuerto en la ciudad. El proyecto tendrá una inversión de R$ 8 millones y la previsión es que las obras se inicien en hasta seis meses, según el Ejecutivo.

El nuevo aeropuerto comenzó a construirse en 2006 y las obras se suspendieron en abril de 2013 después de que el TCE juzgar el contrato irregular . Abandonada, el área ya ha sido objeto de numerosas reclamaciones por los riesgos con el uso sin autorización.

El Aeropuerto de Santa Fe cambió su nombre y presentó a su Ente Autárquico

El Aeropuerto de Sauce Viejo ahora se llama “Aeropuerto Metropolitano Santa Fe”. La administración del Ente Autárquico presentó este miércoles a su directorio que estará a cargo de administrarlo.

“Tenemos pensado un aeropuerto grande y ambicioso. En proyecto hay una obra de ampliación para el estacionamiento y continúan los trabajos en los accesos para que los caminos sean más seguros”, destacó Santiago Amézaga, director del Ente Autárquico, durante el acto de presentación del Ente. Al mismo tiempo adelantó que se ampliará la sala de preembarque y arribo, y habrá un nuevo restaurante.

Un aeropuerto para la Región

El Aeropuerto Metropolitano de Santa Fe ss una nueva imagen que incluye a toda la región y que es representativa al Área Metropolitana. El Gobernador de la Provincia de Santa Fe, Miguel Lifschitz, expresó: “Un aeropuerto es un punto de referencia y fundamental para una ciudad. Santa Fe junto a su región Metropolitana, hasta incluso la ciudad de Paraná, es un núcleo urbano de los más importantes del país y hay que pensar en el tráfico aéreo para toda esa región”. A su vez, en su discurso el gobernador reconoció la política aerocomercial del gobierno nacional e indicó: “Promover nuevas conexiones aéreas, permitir el ingreso de nuevas compañías y facilitar el desarrollo de la actividad aerocomercial en todo el país, fueron decisiones muy importantes porque sino estas obras no hubieran tenido sentido”.

José Garibay, Ministro de Infraestructura y Transporte de la Provincia de Santa Fe, fue otro de los presentes y mencionó que al momento de intervenir en el aeropuerto la infraestructura presentaba varias problemáticas, que fueron resueltas luego de una gran inversión cercana a AR$ 300 millones. “Hoy la pista está repavimentada, el sistema de balizamiento y meteorológico son de primer nivel”, señaló.

Con respecto al futuro Plan de un nuevo aeropuerto para la Región Litoral ubicado en las islas del Paraná, un proyecto que involucraba a las provincias de Santa Fe y Entre Ríos, ha quedado en stand-by, debido al afloramiento del Proyecto Aeropuerto Metropolitano de Santa Fe, para su potencialización para la región.

Ente Autárquico

En cumplimiento de la Ley 13704, a fines del 2017, la Legislatura sancionó la creación del Ente, denominado “Aeropuerto Metropolitano Santa Fe”, para que funcione como una persona jurídica pública estatal autárquica, con la posibilidad de la explotación, el desarrollo y la administración de la terminal aeroportuaria.

Entre algunos de los objetivos del Ente, se seguirán en búsqueda de atraer nuevas aerolíneas y generar más rutas aéreas. El Presidente del Directorio del Ente Santiago Amézaga, comentó: “Estamos rompiendo récords de pasajeros. Avianca está funcionando muy bien con niveles que superan el 85% de pasajeros, esto no fue por decrecimiento de Aerolíneas Argentinas, sino que el mercado absorbió la oferta de Avianca”, destacó. A su vez, mencionó que están a la expectativa para adherir a Córdoba como nueva conexión con Sauce Viejo, “para eso debe aprobarse la ruta Rosario-Córdoba”.

El Aeropuerto El Palomar es una aeroestación estratégica para las operaciones de las low-cost

El Aeropuerto El Palomar (EPA) ha tenido un flujo de 54.000 pasajeros que han viajado volaron solo en el mes de Mayo 2018. Flybondi Líneas Aéreas es hoy la única aerolínea que está operando desde este lugar.

Ubicado a 26 kilómetros del Obelisco, el Aeropuerto del Palomar es el primero al que se puede llegar en tren de manera directa. Desde el inicio de las operaciones, han transitado unos 115.000 pasajeros desde su fundación el 9 Febrero 2018. En términos comparativos en los últimos doce meses, por Aeroparque pasaron 38.500 pasajeros por día, por Ezeiza unos 29.500. Por el Aeropuerto El Palomar ya supera las operaciones de cabotaje de Comodoro Rivadavia, Ezeiza y Bahía Blanca y duplica la afluencia de otros aeropuertos como Resistencia o Rosario. Sólo en el fin de semana del 25 Mayo tuvo un movimiento de pasajeros de cabotaje de más de 10.000 personas. Las tres rutas más demandadas son El Palomar-Córdoba, El Palomar-Corrientes y El Palomar-Mendoza.

Flybondi opera diez destinos desde el Aeropuerto El Palomar. La low cost comenzará a volar a partir del 1 Julio 2018 las rutas a Iguazú y Santiago del Estero. Pero el plan más ambicioso es seguir sumando destinos para poder volar a nivel regional: para antes de fin de año se prevé que se podrá volar a Paraguar y Uruguay. Chile también está en los planes de la aerolínea. Norwegian Air Argentina y las chilenas JetSmart Airlines y Sky Airline sumarán sus frecuencias al Aeropuerto El Palomar.

El desembarco fallido de Avianca en El Palomar se debió a que la empresa no vio rentabilidad si no podía poner a funcionar diez aviones en el aeropuerto. A medida que se vayan sumando hangares, se espera que continúen desembarcando nuevas líneas áreas.

Planes de expansión

El Administrador del Aeropuerto El Palomar, Claudio Balzola, visualiza el potencial de crecimiento que ve en la aeroestación. Las planificaciones futuras de construcción establecen más hangares, aumentar frecuencias y lograr que más compañías quieran venir a operar a la Argentina estiman que el aeropuerto podría tener una afluencia de hasta ochenta vuelos diarios. La ampliación de terminales y mejoras de pista, habilitación de check-in en la estación del tren y poner a funcionar una separadora de residuos.

En la segunda etapa de mejoras del aeropuerto, que comienza en Julio, se invertirán AR$500 millones en reacondicionar hangares militares del predio, instalar terminales de check-in automático, comercios, áreas de aduana, migraciones y un estacionamiento. La tercera etapa, valuada en AR$1000 millones, contempla la construcción de una nueva terminal con capacidad para recibir un millón de pasajeros al año. Desde el Ministerio de Transporte prevén una modernización de 30 aeropuertos en el país por un total de AR24.000 millones de pesos durante los dos próximos años para el sector aéreo.

El Aeropuerto de Heathrow podría transformarse en el mayor aeropuerto del mundo luego de una controvertida decisión de los legisladores británicos de construir la tercer pista que se extendería sobre la autopista más transitada del país.

El Parlamento del Reino Unido ha conseguido después de décadas de debate la aprobación sobre la expansión de laa capacidades del Reino Unido para el tráfico aéreo. Según la propuesta, la capacidad de pasajeros en Heathrow podría pasar de casi 80 millones de pasajeros por año a 110 millones en 2030, convirtiéndolo, según las estadísticas actuales, en el más grande del mundo en términos de tráfico. Además de impulsar el estado de Heathrow como un centro de aviación y facilitar el viaje de los visitantes al Reino Unido, se espera que la medida contrarreste las consecuencias económicas del Brexit de la Unión Europea.

Resistiendo las excavadoras

Los grupos de presión han sostenido durante mucho tiempo que aumentar el tamaño del aeropuerto y atraer más tráfico aéreo en un área densamente poblada tendrá un impacto adverso en las personas que viven cerca y dañará irremediablemente el medio ambiente. La República Dominicana incrementará el tráfico de nuevas aerolíneas

La Junta de Aviación Civil (JAC) anunció el ingreso de cuatro nuevas aerolíneas al sector aerocomercial durante los primeros meses de 2018, ampliando y fortaleciendo la conectividad de la República Dominicana con Estados Unidos y territorios del Caribe, Sudamérica y Europa.

Las aerolíneas que ingresan al sistema se destaca la aerolínea surinamesa FlyAllWays, que inició en Febrero 2018 con vuelos regulares hacia Santo Domingo, conectando 2,337 pasajeros entre Willemstad, Curazao y Las Américas. Turpial Airlines, línea aérea venezolana con hub en la ciudad de Valencia, ha transportado 3,782 pasajeros desde el inicio de sus operaciones en el mes de Marzo. Air Italy, con base en Milán-Malpensa, que reactiva sus operaciones hacia el país luego del cese de Meridiana en Febrero 2018. Los ejecutivos de la compañía italiana relanzaron la aerolínea con nueva imagen y marca, movilizando más de 17 mil pasajeros en el periodo enero-mayo 2018, conectando los puntos de Milán y Roma con La Romana. En ese mismo grupo, Winair, propiedad del gobierno de Saint Marteen, reinició operaciones en marzo, movilizando 5,057 pasajeros. Dentro de las aerolíneas nacionales están Sky High Aviation Services y Servicios Aéreos Profesionales. En tanto la línea aérea dominicana Air Century ha movilizado más de diez mil pasajeros en los primeros meses del año. Las nuevas líneas fortalecerán el sector e incrementarán el tráfico de turistas al país.

El Aeropuerto El Palomar ha alcanzado el octavo puesto en Argentina por tráfico de pasajeros

En Mayo 2018 el Aeropuerto Internacional de El Palomar alcanzó los 54.000 pasajeros en vuelos de cabotaje. La principal empresa aérea que opera en esta aeroestación, Flybondi, sirve a 11 destinos y en Julio sumará dos destinos adicionales.

Como tercer aeropuerto del área metropolitana, El Palomar tuvo un arranque con varias complicaciones, pero su intenso tráfico logró que a estas alturas se transformó en el octavo aeropuerto con mayor tráfico en Argentina, logrando que la únic aerolínea operativa, Flybondi, continúa fortaleciendo su posición. Aunque falta definir la apertura de Norwegian Air Argentina, que inicialmente había pedido operar desde este aeropuerto, su start-up todavía está algo demorado. Mientras que otras dos aerolíneas que aún no tienen rutas asignadas también pidieron volar desde ahí.

Según datos de la Empresa Argentina de Navegación Aérea (EANA), en Mayo 2018 54.000 pasajeros tomaron vuelos desde y hacia el Aeropuerto El Palomar, casi el doble de lo que registraron en Abril, y por eso el aeropuerto se ubicó como el octavo del país en cabotaje, por delante de Salta y Tucumán, dos destinos turísticos fuertes. Durante el último fin de semana largo de Mayo, escaló a la séptima posición debido a los 10.250 pasajeros entre partidas y arribos para superar a Tucumán (10.124), Salta (10.117) y Ezeiza (7.383) en vuelos de cabotaje, quedando cerca de Iguazú (10.361) y Bariloche (10.741).

Flybondi ya acaparó un 7% del mercado local. Según datos del Ministerio de Transporte, la ruta de mayor movimiento fue la conexión con Córdoba, con 2.729 pasajeros transportados en ambos sentidos, seguida de Mendoza con 1.276 pasajeros y después Posadas, con 1.265. Con sus cuatro aviones, las operaciones de Flybondi tuvieron un 82% de puntualidad, según confirmó su CEO, Julian Cook. Al iniciar las operaciones en febrero, la empresa empezó a volar con grandes demoras, que en varios casos provocó cancelaciones, porque sólo tenían un avión.

Ahora, Flybondi tiene su quinta nave en el país y espera ponerla en el aire este mes. La semana pasada inauguró su ruta El Palomar-Bahía Blanca, a mediados de mes empezará a viajar a Salta, y en julio lo hará a Santiago del Estero para completar los primeros 13 destinos desde el Oeste.

Mientras tanto, se espera por una definición de Norwegian Air Argentina, que retrasó su inicio de actividades y no está claro si volará desde El Palomar. Otras dos empresas que sí manifestaron su intención de usar la nueva terminal son JetSmart Airlines y Sky Airline.

Chile ingresará cinco nuevas aerolíneas fomentada por la política de cielos abiertos

Chile ha planificado una política de cielos abiertos para fomentar la industria aerocomercial. Compañías aéreas están ingresando nuevamente al país austral como British Airways y Alitalia, que hoy cuentan con cuatro y cinco frecuencias por semana, respectivamente. Mayor incremento de frecuencias tienen Iberia, Air France y KLM.

Esta política de cielos abiertos en la que Chile ofrece, bajo ciertas autorizaciones, libertad a compañías extranjeras para volar en el territorio nacional ha generado que el país sea atractivo para los operadores aéreos internacionales.

Actualmente cinco líneas aéreas que están tramitando su Certificado de Operador Aéreo (AOC) ante la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC): Emirates Airlines, la low cost argentina Flybondi, las estadounidenses Dynamic International Airways y One Sky, y la peruana Peruvian Airlines. El Secretario General de la Junta Aeronáutica Civil (JAC), Jaime Binder, destacó que «el alto interés para operar en Chile radica en sus reglas estables y claras, y en una política pro libre competencia. Eso genera menores precios y más opciones para los pasajeros».

En cuanto a las firmas, Emirates Airlines busca operar en la ruta Santiago-Sao Paulo-Dubái. Flybondi, en tanto, espera volar entre Santiago y distintos puntos de Argentina a fines de año. Dynamic Airways es una empresa dedicada a chárter, que el año pasado realizó operaciones no regulares entre Santiago y Puerto Príncipe. Según fuentes de la industria, One Sky, en tanto, podría operar arrendando aviones, o bien evaluaría vuelos hacia Lima, Campinas, Sudáfrica y, eventualmente, Asia. Respecto de Peruvian, operaría Santiago-Lima.
