El nuevo Aeropuerto de Beijing abrirá en Septiembre de 2019
El nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Beijing se abrirá al tráfico aéreo a fines de Septiembre 2019, informaron hoy las autoridades. La construcción del aeropuerto y las instalaciones relacionadas se completará el 30 de junio de 2019, alrededor de cuatro años y medio después de la inauguración, dijo la Administración de Aviación Civil de China (CAAC) en una ceremonia que marca un año de cuenta regresiva.
El jefe de CAAC, Feng Zhenglin, dijo que el proyecto ha progresado sin problemas y que se están realizando los preparativos para la operación. Un desglose del cronograma de trabajo de CAAC mostró que la autopista del nuevo aeropuerto cumplirá con las condiciones operativas en junio de 2019, y que la línea norte puede abrir seis meses antes. Las instalaciones de reabastecimiento en tierra entrarán en uso en abril de 2019.
El aeropuerto, ubicado a 46 kilómetros al sur del centro de Beijing, está diseñado para aliviar la presión sobre el atestado Aeropuerto Internacional Capital de Beijing en los suburbios del noreste. Está situado en el cruce del distrito Daxing de Beijing y Langfang, una ciudad en la provincia de Hebei.

The new Beijing International Airport will open to air traffic at the end of September 2019, authorities said today. The construction of the airport and related facilities will be completed on June 30, 2019, about four and a half years after the inauguration, said the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in a ceremony marking a year of countdown.
The head of CAAC, Feng Zhenglin, said the project has progressed smoothly and that preparations are underway for the operation. A breakdown of CAAC’s work schedule showed that the new airport’s highway will comply with the operating conditions in June 2019, and that the northern line can open six months earlier. The replenishment facilities on land will come into use in April 2019.
