Alternative airlines Iguazu
Iguazú gains strength before the closure of the Posadas Airport
The Government of Misiones, Argentina, has formally requested the postponement of the start date of works and reduce the deadlines for remodeling. In recent days, both provincial and national offices have dismissed the Paraguayan option of the Encarnación Airport to replace the Libertador General San Martín de Posadas Airport, when the latter closed due to the remodeling works announced by the Government.
The use of the Iguazú International Airport, as an alternative airport for flights from Aerolíneas Argentinas, JetSmart Airlines Argentina and Flybondi Líneas Aéreas for operations to the capital of the Province of Misiones, has gained strength.
The decision to abandon the landing at the Encarnación/Teniente Amín Ayub González Airport is because it has infrastructure problems, especially due to the runway that is in disuse. The friction study remains but there are several voices that agree that the paving will not be improved by July or August 2022. Another problem that arises is the payment of the airport tax: the international would apply and the airlines are not willing to absorb the costs. Transferring them to the user will mean increasing flight fares.

Russia will start domestic production
UAC will produce Tu-214 aircraft due to blockade crisis
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) of the Russian Federation has launched the production of twenty (20) Tupolev Tu-214 long-range narrow-body aircraft. UAC Executive Director Yuri Slyusar confirmed on 06/04 that Russian-made Tu-214 aircraft will replace foreign-made Boeing and Airbus airliners as part of the loss of Western access due to blockades caused by the Russian-imposed war on Ukraine. The company also plans to increase the pace of mass production in the near future. The company will also increase the production rates of the Ilyushin Il-96 and Ilyushin Il-76.
The impact of international sanctions has raised many questions about how Russia can keep its planes in the air. Boeing and Airbus have suspended support for planes operated by Russian airlines, including stopping the provision of new parts, maintenance and technical support services. This has led Russia to consider reviving domestic aircraft programs, particularly the Tupolev Tu-214 and Ilyushin Il-96, although the country will see a regression of the aircraft fleet, a setback of commercial aviation technology.
In late March 2022, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov announced that the Kazan-based aerospace manufacturer Kazan Aircraft Production Association (KAPO) is expected to produce ten Tu-214 units in a serial production within a year. On April 1, 2022, Andrei Yelchaninov, a member of the Board of the Russian Military-Industrial Commission, revealed that Russia could establish an additional aircraft manufacturing center in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, to avoid shortages. of spare parts, while continuing to feel the effects of international sanctions amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The new facility, which could start operations in 2023, is expected to produce parts for several types of aircraft, but will focus primarily on supplying spare parts for domestically-built aircraft such as the Tupolev Tu-214 and Ilyushin Il- 76.
Efforts are underway to create a single center in Kazan to manufacture parts for various types of aircraft, primarily the civilian Tu-214 and Il-76 cargo aircraft. Meanwhile, Russia is also considering increasing its focus on the Sukhoi Superjet 100 and the Irkut MC-21.

Mauritania receives aid ops
Mauritania Airlines receives help from Fly2sky Aircraft Mauritanian company MRO process
Mauritania Airlines, due to the lack of planes, has been receiving help for several weeks from the Bulgarian charter company Fly2sky. The Bulgarian airline has provided several Airbus A320-200CEOs to support the operations of the African routes of the Mauritanian airline.
The company’s flights have recently experienced a disruption in their schedules, as a result of maintenance operations that the company places as a top priority before any other consideration. The company recently depends on four aircraft to operate its flights, which, under normal circumstances, are sufficient, but given the maintenance process of Embraer and Boeing aircraft, including the lack of fuel stations in the country, they allow us to understand the crisis in air transport.
MRO process
One aircraft entered for routine maintenance on 03/20, while two of our aircraft manufacturers called two aircraft in for proactive preventative maintenance, based on information they had collected globally, from all companies using the same engines and the same aircraft. The two manufacturers issued a Circular to all companies operating the same engines and the same aircraft, and not limited to just Mauritanian aviation, and the company directly complied with it because of the paramount importance it places on safety before any other consideration.
The company is subject to an international security investigation and has an IOSA certificate, which is considered one of the best in this field for 2021-2022. All their maintenance is carried out in full coordination with the manufacturers and in accordance with their regulations and supervision, and by the way they are interested in the safety of their aircraft due to the reflection of their huge commercial interests, and they will not hesitate for a moment to defame any company that does not meet predetermined standards. The maintenance of civil aviation is subject to international treaties and severe regulations, which require all operators to respect the regulations and apply the approved regulations, and to leave a significant reserve safety margin, all of which have contributed to making the transport air transport one of the safest and most protected in the world. Mauritania has specialized technical teams with rich and long experience in the field of maintenance, as well as qualified navigators who are highly qualified, professional and loyal and respect systems and procedures with precision and honesty.
Aware of the need to respect its obligations on mid-line routes, the company has rented a Bulgarian aircraft subject to European safety standards, which, by the way, is one of the strictest international regulations, for flights of medium size, which has been done effortlessly, and we draw attention to the fact that the chartering of aircraft in such cases, and in peak cases, is a standard procedure from which no company in the world can be handed over to rational management.
