Avianca aunque no es una aerolínea low cost, anunciará una renovación a la estructura de sus tarifas ofreciendo un paquete básico de servicios para todos sus usuarios que se complementan con servicios o beneficios adicionales dependiendo del tipo de tarifa que se pague.

Peligra la conexión aérea a Trelew de Flybondi Líneas Aéreas

Las repercusiones por las limitaciones operativas en el Aeropuerto Internacional El Palomar de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en las rutas aéreas de la aerolínea Flybondi Líneas Aéreas comenzaron a impactar en lasa frecuencias de algunos vuelos, trasladándose ahora al levantamiento de algunas escalas, permitiendo observar un claro retroceso en las conectividades aéreas en Argentina. La decisión de la Justicia para limitar la operatividad en horarios nocturnos entre las 22:00-07:00 horas impactan en las aéreas low cost que están operando en el Aeropuerto El Palomar.

Voces desde Trelew

Tras la decisión de la Justicia la aerolínea low cost podría levantar la escala y retirarse, afectando la conectividad, sostienen desde Trelew, Provincia de Chubut. Empresarios del sector turístico y hotelero de Trelew manifestaron su preocupación por la situación de las limitaciones del Aeropouerto El Palomar que impactan en la aerolínea Flybondi y en los diferentes destinos en Argentina y la región.

El titular del Ente Trelew Turístico (EntreTur), Miguel Ramos, indicó que “afecta a todas las low cost. Y sobre todo Flybondi, donde hemos notado en estos últimos meses que realmente se genero una corriente turística hacia Trelew, no solamente de particulares, sino de contingentes. Para nosotros está siendo importante. En el caso nuestro no tenemos vuelos nocturnos, pero sabemos desde el sector turístico y FeHGRA (Federación Empresaria Hotelera y Gastronómica de la República Argentina) que si estas low cost no tienen la posibilidad de operar en todos los horarios, desaparecen porque no le es rentable tener unos pocos vuelos en el día. Ellos tienen pocas aeronaves. A nosotros nos perjudica, nos afecta. No entendemos al gremio de Aerolíneas que se quejan de las low cost cuando la política de este Gobierno respecto a los vuelos se ha incrementado de forma importante la cantidad de gente transportada por Aerolíneas. Los gremios pareciera que quieren que exista solo Aerolíneas Argentinas y manejar todo ellos y perjudicando al sector turístico”.

En el comunicado de FEHGRA manifiestan su profunda preocupación acerca del fallo judicial, que puede causar el cierre del Aeropuerto de El Palomar. «Según la sentencia, a partir del 26 de septiembre las aerolíneas low cost que operan en el Aeropuerto no podrán hacerlo entre las 22 y las 7 horas de la mañana del día siguiente. Tanto la ANAC como el Ministerio de Transporte han apelado la medida judicial, al tiempo que se escucharon los reclamos de distintos Gobiernos Provinciales y de las Filiales de FEHGRA, que se encuentran directamente afectadas por la medida judicial adoptada. El fallo no sólo afecta el interés de cientos de miles de pasajeros que se verán privados de viajar por las compañías aéreas afectadas, sino que impacta directamente en el sector turístico, hotelero y gastronómico, perjudicando la llegada de pasajeros del interior del país a los diversos destinos nacionales, con el consecuente perjuicio a un sector de la economía nacional, el turismo, que es generador de ingresos genuinos y creador de fuentes de trabajo, afectando en forma directa el desarrollo de las economías regionales, pues la puesta en marcha del citado Aeropuerto permitió conectar ciudades que carecían de conectividad”.

In the FEHGRA statement, they express their deep concern about the judicial ruling, which may cause the closure of El Palomar Airport. «According to the ruling, as of September 26, low-cost airlines that operate at the Airport will not be able to do so between 10 pm and 7 am the next day. Both the ANAC and the Ministry of Transportation have appealed the judicial measure while hearing the claims of different Provincial Governments and the FEHGRA Subsidiaries, which are directly affected by the judicial measure adopted. El Reino Unido planea permitir que las aerolíneas fallidas sigan volando para repatriar a los pasajeros

Las aerolíneas que presentan quiebra ahora se verán obligadas a llevar a los pasajeros varados al retorno de sus hogares, ya que el gobierno dice que incautará aviones bajo nuevas leyes diseñadas para ahorrar millones de contribuyentes. Los cambios propuestos a las reglas de aviación siguen la puesta a tierra de las aeronaves y las tripulaciones de la última aerolinea fallida, Thomas Cook Airlines.

Nueva legislación por quiebra

La nueva legislación propuesta permitiría que los transportistas colapsados se coloquen en una administración especial, lo que significa que sus aviones y su tripulación pueden continuar volando para traer clientes de regreso al Reino Unido. Los aviones propiedad de aerolíneas fallidas se utilizarían para repatriar pasajeros bajo los planes anunciados por el gobierno. Las aerolíneas que quiebren en el futuro tendrán sus aviones incautados por el Gobierno y transportar a los turistas a sus hogares bajo nuevas leyes diseñadas para ahorrar millones de contribuyentes.

Según el sistema existente, cuando una aerolínea se pliega, sus aviones quedan en tierra, dejando a los pasajeros en riesgo de quedarse varados y desprotegidos. Cuando la empresa de viajes Thomas Cook colapsó el mes pasado, dejando a más de 140.000 turistas varados, la Autoridad de Aviación Civil (CAA) del Reino Unido tuvo que asegurar el uso de 150 aviones de todo el mundo para operar cerca de 700 vuelos a un costo de £ 100 millones para el tesoro. El gobierno cree que permitir que la CAA use los aviones y la tripulación existentes de una aerolínea en casos futuros significaría que hay menos interrupciones y costos para los contribuyentes.

El Secretario de Transporte, Grant Shapps, dijo: “Recientemente hemos visto el gran impacto que el colapso de las aerolíneas puede tener sobre los pasajeros y el personal. He hablado con Peter Bucks, Presidente de la Revisión de la Insolvencia de la Aerolínea, y planeo aprovechar su experiencia e introducir reformas de insolvencia de la aerolínea lo más rápido posible».

Un portavoz del Departamento de Transporte agregó: «Usar los activos y el personal existentes para llevar a las personas a casa ayudará a reducir los costos de la repatriación».

Críticas a la arena política

Los ministros fueron acusados de no aprender del colapso de Monarch Airlines en 2017. Una revisión había pedido una reforma para permitir que las aerolíneas insolventes continúen volando por un corto tiempo para llevar a los pasajeros a casa. Pero el Gobierno de Gran Gretaña afirmó que no había tenido tiempo de cambiar la ley cuando Thomas Cook se hundió.

El informe final de la revisión se publicó en Mayo 2019 y recomendó la introducción de un impuesto de 50 peniques por tarifa aérea para cubrir el costo de llevar a los pasajeros del Reino Unido a casa cuando una aerolínea se declara en quiebra. Un esquema de seguro obligatorio para que el gobierno no tenga que desembolsar gastos para la repatriación de los pasajeros.

New bankruptcy legislation

The proposed new legislation would allow collapsed carriers to be placed in a special administration, which means that their planes and their crew can continue flying to bring customers back to the UK. Airplanes owned by failed airlines would be used to repatriate passengers under the plans announced by the government. Airlines that fail in the future will have their planes seized by the Government and transport tourists to their homes under new laws designed to save millions of taxpayers.

Under the existing system, when an airline folds, its planes are grounded, leaving passengers at risk of being stranded and unprotected. When the Thomas Cook travel company collapsed last month, leaving more than 140,000 tourists stranded, the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had to ensure the use of 150 aircraft from around the world to operate about 700 flights to a cost of £ 100 million for the treasure. The government believes that allowing the CAA to use an airline’s existing aircraft and crew in future cases would mean that there are fewer interruptions and costs for taxpayers.

Transportation Secretary Grant Shapps said: “Recently we have seen the great impact that the collapse of airlines can have on passengers and staff. To take home more than 140,000 passengers from Thomas Cook, the government and CAA worked together 24 hours a day and, with the support of people from all over the world, carried out the largest repatriation exercise in peacetime in the history of the United Kingdom. I have spoken with Peter Bucks, President of the Airline Insolvency Review, and I plan to take advantage of his experience and introduce airline insolvency reforms as quickly as possible».

A spokesman for the Department of Transportation added: «Using existing assets and personnel to take people home will help reduce the costs of repatriation».

Criticisms of the political arena

The ministers were accused of not learning from the collapse of Monarch Airlines in 2017. A review had called for a reform to allow insolvent airlines to continue flying for a short time to take passengers home. But the Government of Great Grenada said it had not had time to change the law when Thomas Cook sank.

The final report of the review was published in May 2019 and recommended the introduction of a 50 pence tax per airfare to cover the cost of taking UK passengers home when airline files for bankruptcy. A mandatory insurance scheme so that the government does not have to disburse expenses for the repatriation of passengers.

Global Investment Platform (GIP) compra 100% de Peruvian Airlines

Global Investment Platform (GIP), un grupo de inversionistas internacionales compra 100% de Peruvian Airlines. El grupo de inversionistas internacionales cerró la compra del 100% de la aerolínea Peruvian Airlines, la segunda empresa aérea más grande de Perú. Es una de las principales líneas aéreas del mercado peruano, con 13,8% de participación.

La transacción fue realizada a través de Global Investment Platform (GIP), una plataforma privada que tiene entre sus inversionistas a fondos de inversión de Indonesia, Singapur, capitales chilenos, peruanos, entre otros. “La compra de Peruvian Airlines viene a diversificar el portafolio de inversiones que maneja actualmente GIP, en el que se encuentran empresas del sector inmobiliario, retail, turismo, entre otras”, señalaron desde GIP. Roberto Sone, socio fundador de GIP, explicó que la plataforma opera como un espacio virtual en el cual inversionistas de distintas partes del mundo pueden entrar a la propiedad de diversas empresas a través de smart contracts. La diversificación de GIP Group en Peruvian Airlines busca hacer crecer a la aerolínea como una alternativa a las grandes compañías aéreas de Perú y Latinoamérica, manteniendo la cercanía y el servicio que las caracteriza y permitiendo que más personas puedan acceder a volar.

Representantes de GIP se reunieron con el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones de Perú, quienes se comprometieron a entregar todo el apoyo necesario para que la compañía vuelva a operar con normalidad, luego de que la semana pasada suspendiera sus vuelos por diferencias con la Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (SUNAT).

La aerolínea salteña Andes Líneas Aéreas suspende la ruta a Chubut

Andes Líneas Aéreas suspende los vuelos a Chubut tras no arribar a un acuerdo de pago con Provincia. Tras varios días de negociaciones, y ante la falta de respuesta del Gobierno provincial a la deuda que mantiene con la empresa, se confirmó la suspensión de los vuelos, a pocas horas del inicio del fin de semana largo más importante del año en materia turística.

Andes ha comunicado a última hora de ayer 10/10 confirmando el cese de operaciones en la ruta hacia Puerto Madryn, tras una importante serie de reuniones a lo largo de varios días, en que ejecutivos de la firma y del áera de la Gobernación de la Provincia de Chubut no pudieron llegar a un acuerdo de pagos de deudas por parte de la provincia. A bordo del último vuelo de ayer, llegó un apoderado de la empresa, con la esperanza de poder sellar un acuerdo, lo que finalmente había fracasado.

Andes Líneas Aéreas esperaba el desembolso al que se había comprometido el Gobierno de la Provincia de Chubut, de unos diez millones de pesos, para seguir con sus operaciones, sin embargo, al no ocurrir esto se tomó la drástica decisión, la suspensión momentánea de los vuelos. Incluso a última hora de ayer, las operadoras de turismo recibieron la orden de parte de la empresa de suspender la venta de pasajes y suspendió el vuelo de hoy, aunque en el transcurso de la noche se esperaba la cancelación de los vuelos de los próximos días. La Provincia le debe a la empresa unos cuarenta millones de pesos, que debido a la dolarización del precio del combustible JP1 se aumentaría a los AR$ 180 millones. Había dos negociaciones en marcha, una por el primer desembolso de diez millones de pesos y la segunda por el monto total de la deuda, sin embargo, y a pesar de la decisión del Gobierno de pagar los diez millones, eso no se hizo nunca efectivo. La noticia provocó un creciente malestar en el sector turístico, que esperaba una solución al tema.

Cámara Turismo Chubut

En la tarde de ayer Jueves 10/10, la Cámara de Turismo de Chubut hizo conocer un comunicado, en el que mencionaba que “desde la Cámara de Turismo de Chubut queremos dejar clara la importancia de un acuerdo impostergable entre las partes. La conectividad aérea ha sido en los últimos diez años la plataforma que nos permitió alcanzar mejores resultados en llegada de turistas a nuestro Destino. La compañía Aérea hace catorce años que vincula a Puerto Madryn y la Comarca Península Valdés con los principales centros emisores del país y forma parte integral de la cadena de valor a la hora de hablar de experiencia turística. Los hechos son totalmente desfavorables, es un tema que nos preocupa mucho ya que estamos en plena temporada y el próximo fin de semana largo es uno de los picos del año. Es por ello que queremos destacar la importancia de un acuerdo urgente que le dé previsibilidad y continuidad a la conectividad aérea de nuestra Comarca; no sostener el servicio es sinónimo de perder tantas conquistas sociales, económicas y turísticas logradas con una conectividad responsable, diaria y directa”, comunicado que llegó, evidentemente, tarde.

Aerolíneas Argentinas y Austral Líneas Aéreas han acordado con el gremio aeronáutico Asociación Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA) y Unión de Aviadores de Líneas Aéreas (UALA) un incremento salarial del 15% desde Diciembre 2019. Así lo afirmaron los secretarios generales de APLA, Pablo Biró, y de UALA, Cristian Erhardt, al salir de la reunión en Trabajo. «Ya está en garantía las operaciones y damos por zanjado el conflicto salarial», dijo Biró al salir del encuentro.

Después de meses de conflicto, se ha destrabado el conflicto con los gremios de pilotos APLA. Los aumentos se aplicarán de manera escalonada, otorgando una suba del 10% entre Octubre-Noviembre y un 15% en Diciembre 2019. Así se ha acordado ayuer 10/10 en la sede de la Secretaría de Trabajo después de una audiencia convocada por Lucas Fernández Aparicio, el Jefe del área como mediador del conflicto con los pilotos del gremio de APLA. El área de pilotos de Aerolíneas Argentinas obtuvieron una paritaria anual de 44,5%, más las dos sumas fijas y el bono de AR$ 5.000 para aquellos con sueldos inferiores a los AR$ 100.000.

«El acuerdo fue alcanzado en el marco de la conciliación obligatoria dictada el Jueves 3/10 por la Secretaría de Trabajo de la Nación, ante la amenaza gremial de un paro de 48 horas el pasado fin de semana. La firma de las respectivas actas acuerdo se harán en el ámbito de la misma Secretaría», informó Aerolíneas Argentinas.

Desde la cartera del Ministerio de Trabajo han comunicado que los gremios APTA y UPSA continuarán con las negociaciones en una nueva audiencia.

Caso afiliación Latam

El Jefe sindicalista Pablo Biró del gremio APLA ha puesto su propia posición después que os pilotos de Latam Airlines Argentina han desafiado iniciando gestiones formales la semana pasada en la Secretaría de Trabajo para formar su propio sindicato por empresa. Desde el gremio APLA sostienen que el expediente del nuevo sindicato UPAL se dilate hasta el eventual cambio de gobierno, intentando frenar la constitución del nuevo organismo sindical, ajustando la letra chica del modelo sindical vigente, en el que prima la afiliación de trabajadores por actividad y no por empresa.

El Gobierno de Chubut negocia deuda con Andes Líneas Aéreas

El Gobierno de Chubut le adeuda a la compañía Andes Líneas Aéreas una suma de AR$ 280 millones de pesos lo que afecta la operatividad de la empresa en cuanto a los vuelos como así al pago de sueldos de los empleados.

Horacio Preneste, Gerente General de la compañía, explicó que la deuda corresponde a 14 mil viajes que se le otorgó al gobierno chubutense. Aclaró además que regía un acuerdo de tipo canje, la entrega de pasajes a cambio de combustible, el cual quedó caduco. Preneste indicó que de no llegar a un acuerdo en esta semana para el pago de la deuda, se suspenderán los vuelos a Chubut. A su vez, garantizó que el resto de las rutas aéreas continuarán con normalidad.

Por otro lado, el gerente criticó nuevamente la política aerocomercial del gobierno nacional, dado que al haber permitido el ingreso de las low cost muchas empresas se han visto perjudicadas. Finalmente, destacó el acompañamiento y el esfuerzo de los trabajadores ante esta situación que atraviesa Andes Líneas Aéreas, calificándolos como «héroes».

El gobierno chubutense se encuentra buscando alternativas administrativas para realizar un pago parcial de la deuda que se aproxima a los AR$ 180 millones de pesos. Mientras tanto, hubo gestos de buena voluntad de la aerolínea, como los dos vuelos de ayer Miércoles 09/10, uno por la mañana, arribando a las ocho de la mañana y el segundo por la noche, a la vez que ayer por la tarde estuvieron abiertas las oficinas en Puerto Madryn. Avianca obtiene US$ 200 millones de United Continental Holdings Group Inc. y Kingsland Holdings Limited

Avianca Holdings, por medio de una comunicación a la Superintendencia Financiera, la aerolínea anunció que tras lograr intercambiar bonos por más de US$ 475 millones a mediados de Septiembre 2019 como parte de la transformación de su estructura de capital, recibirá US$ 200 millones de United Airlines Holdings Group Inc. y Kingsland Holdings Limited. Asimismo, informaron que buscarán otros US$ 175 millones de sus accionistas para poder saldar sus deudas. Los recursos serán otorgados a la aerolínea aproximadamente el 15 Octubre 2019.

United y Kingsland, en forma conjunta, desembolsarán no menos de US$ 200 millones del préstamo convertible, y ellos junto con la compañía han acordado que uno o más terceros prestamistas podrán participar en el préstamo convertible con respecto a los US$ 50 millones restantes. Adicionalmente, los prestamistas y la compañía han acordado los términos y condiciones bajo los cuales la compañía espera recaudar US$ 125 millones adicionales de parte de los accionistas que ostentan acciones preferidas en la compañía, según expresaron en un comunicado oficial de las controlantes.

A mediados de 2019, United Continental Holdings Group cambia la Junta Directiva de Avianca Holdings a cargo de Kingsland Holdings Limited. Aerolíneas Argentinas y los gremios aeronáuticos de pilotos llegaron a un principio de acuerdo

El sindicato aeronáutico de Asocioación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA) firmaría un nuevo convenio salarial este Jueves 10/10 en la Secretaría de Trabajo. Aún hay negociaciones abiertas con otros cinco sindicatos. El cierre la negociación con la Unión Argentina de Líneas Aéreas (UALA) aún está pendiente.

Aerolíneas Argentinas llegó a un principio de acuerdo con el gremio de pilotos, por lo que podría desactivarse la amenaza de paro para el próximo fin de semana largo. Este Jueves habrá una reunión en la Secretaría de Trabajo para rubricar el convenio salarial, del que por el momento no trascendieron detalles. Según confirmaron fuentes de la compañía y sindicales, las negociaciones entre la aerolínea de mayoría accionaria estatal y la Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (APLA) llegaron este Miércoles por la tarde a un acuerdo, tras varias semanas de tensión que incluyeron un paro anunciado para el fin de semana pasado que fue cancelado sobre la hora por intervención del Ministerio de Trabajo.

Desde la aerolínea expresaron: «Son conversaciones complejas y todavía continúan. Que haya un principio de acuerdo con APLA no significa que sea con todos los gremios». APLA ha afirmado que «como el resto de los gremios está en negociación, no podemos dar detalles sobre el convenio salarial».

Desde este lunes, la empresa y los gremios habían iniciado un período de diálogos informales y reuniones fuera de la órbita de la Secretaría de Trabajo. Si bien la cartera laboral había dictado un período de 15 días de conciliación obligatoria, los gremios no lo aceptaron aunque igualmente resolvieron dejar en suspenso la huelga de 48 horas que iba a tener lugar el fin de semana. Tanto APLA como UALA vienen reclamando una recomposición salarial extra del 22% a raíz del impacto de la devaluación. El convenio salarial será rubricado por representantes de la empresa de bandera y el gremio este Jueves 10/10 a las 11:00 horas en la Secretaría de Trabajo, comentaron fuentes sindicales.

Gremios aeronáuticos de APLA y UALA continúan negociaciones

La negociación de los síndicos con el Estado continúan, pero no hubo ofertas concretas. Directivos de Aerolíneas Argentinas y los gremios de pilotos continuaron este Lunes 7 Octubre 2019 con las negociaciones para intentar destrabar el conflicto salarial en el sector, aunque la compañía aun no presentó una oferta concreta.

Los sindicatos APLA (Asociación de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas) y UALA (Unión de Aviadores de Líneas Aéreas) decidieron suspender el paro anunciado para el fin de semana pasado, tras el compromiso de la Secretaría de Trabajo de que la compañía de bandera presentaría una oferta de aumento salarial. “No tenemos información, nada aún, estamos esperando la propuesta de la empresa. Tan pronto la tengamos, se analizará y veremos si mañana (por hoy Martes 8/10) se genera la reunión”, sostuvo Juan Pablo Mazzieri, Vocero de APLA.

Los sindicatos estiman que hasta este Miércoles 9/10 continuarán con el diálogo con Aerolíneas y la Secretaría de Trabajo. El representante de APLA, Pablo Biró sostiene que “el paro puede ser retomado en cualquier momento si no se cumplen los lineamientos del acuerdo”.

El Jueves pasado, la Secretaría de Trabajo dictó la conciliación obligatoria por quince días en el conflicto con los pilotos, cuyos gremios rechazaron la medida y adelantaron que no iban a acatarla.
